John Scott is a former pro-hockey enforcer who received a ton of All-Star Game ballots despite not being a skilled scorer or player and playing between the NHL and minor league AHL. He's a fighter, he fights. Initially, the NHL top brass wanted Scott to decline his All-Star berth because he wasn't a superstar but he decided to go to the All-Star Game like a Cinderella going to the ball. Long story short, he captained his team to All-Star victory, won the Million Dollars, the car, and was named MVP as a write in candidate.
