Not only is this real country, Sierra Ferrell is the most talented female country singer I’ve ever heard. While it’s a shame that a lot of people will never listen to this music, or even enjoy it, I’m glad there are people who still take the time to take things back to the roots and put a new spin on an old tradition that still lives on in the hearts of enough people. Sierra you are a blessing to the country/folk/bluegrass genre, and a blessing to music in general.
I think, I'm finally ready to say it. Dolly has a g'damn run for her money. What a time to be in! If you ever read this Sierra Ferrell, you are invited out west, just about any ole time.

I love the way the camera cuts out the male singer and moves to the female singer when she sings. You see, I didn't know that I was supposed to look at her when she sings, so thata camera change helped me out a lot.

I was gonna say, “Go watch her Grand Ol Opry debut, she spoke about how she enjoys effecting people’s feelings when she sings. She reminds me a lot of Patsy Cline, Patsy also said how she, “Liked reaching down and grabbing people’s heartstrings.”

I never gave country music a thought until I heard Sierra's "in dreams". I've learned so much from deep diving her cover songs and I'm so into it now. She's so talented. I just love her!

Song written by Tom Paxton. Covered by literally hundreds of artists as diverse as Neil Diamond, Phil Everly, Willie Nelson, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, etc. Dolly and Porter's 1967 version did really well, though, and helped Tom's career immensely, which he has mentioned frequently in his concerts.
I once was able to ask Tom Paxton how many people had covered this song, he just shook his head. Great song.

This is my first to hear and experience just how talented of a country singer you are!! I Just discovered Timbo while on vacation in Nashville, and now I’m here, I was deer hunting with family last weekend, and Friday he’ll be playing just 15 minutes from my house in Austin!
