10 Greatest Comeback Players In NFL History Спорт
they should call this the “Alex Smith Award”
mhm
Damn straight
I think Eric berrys was more inspirational. Jus my opinion tho
Cylo they were both fighting to survive, both are great stories
I'm A Washington Fan
“Peyton Manning is the only player to win super bowls with multiple teams”
Tom Brady has entered the chat
yes
It's weird to think that changed less than a month after this vid was posted
only player to win super bowls with multiple teams who was never suspended for cheating
@@davidmorrissey8820 🤫FYI - Brady wasn't technically suspended for cheating
@@davidmorrissey8820 Tom Brady is still 1 even if u hate him 🤷🏽♂️
i love alex smith because im a chiefs fan and he was an inspiring chiefs player. no matter how much he got down he always got up. seeing him recover from basically a threat like cancer i'm so proud of him.
good luck to the chiefs today! i’m rooting for them ever since seahawks choked very badly against the rams 😃
at the start of the video, if I don't see Eric Berry I am disliking the video.
Thank God for Alex Smith's recovery
They should change the award name to “Alex Smith of the year”
I’m a Football Team fan Thank you
i was going to say that. "the alex smith comeback player of the year"
@@bonnspag kinda in a way maybe
Stop it
@@itachi_wrld8775 well well looky what we have here
It amazes me that a man can fight for his life, and just a year or two later be playing in NFL. And not only play in it, but honestly do pretty decent in it.
Ay yo where the other voice be at
LMAO first thing that popped in my head
LMAO facts
Hopefully he will return
We need him
Fr
I wish Sean Taylor was able to be here😔
:(
True
RIP
Sean Taylor
1983-2007
Alex smith brought us to the promised after all of that... He is now my favorite QB.
one of mine for sure
I guess getting shot in one leg, getting hit with grenade shrapnel in the other leg, losing part of a foot, and then winning 4 Super Bowls isn't quite as impressive as coming back from a dogfighting conviction. Shout out to Pittsburgh Steelers' #26/20 Rocky Bleier for the effort anyways.
Oh shut up
@@fishingwithnathan5941 Or what? You'll take me out back and shoot me?
@@osareafallire yeah
Steelers fans are the worst lmao. I get that you’re upset because YOU believe he should’ve been on this list. Go make your own list then on your channel. Loser
@@zackhicks5320 I hate the Steelers and Rocky Bleier has done enough he doesn't need to be on anyone's list. He doesn't get upset if someone calls him a loser. But if it makes you feel better about yourself for doing so, I'm happy you had this moment. Merry Christmas.
Day 6 of asking for “How good was Patrick Willis Actually?”
lol ok
Keep asking one person got it in 63 days but it was worth it
Ok I’ll keep trying
Day 1 and probs wont be any more days of also wanting this.
@@joevasquez8178 yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
As a chiefs fan seeing Alex smith come back from that injury was miraculous really something out of a movie
Is he a different person or is it me
They should rename the comeblack player of the year to The Alex Smith Award
Black black.....
You mean comecaucasian award
@@CannibalOX99 ha gotem
@@CannibalOX99 Micheal Vick, Eric Berry, Greg Bell, Steve Smith, and Joe Johnson
@@Tinybubblespug Alex Smith is white tho ? You color blind
To the person who sees this i hope your day was good and if it wasn't i hope it will get better!
Thank you
Thank you kind person! I hope the same for you and anyone who sees this comment. Cheers!
Your asome i wish you have a good day to
@@takecareofyallchiken6275 thx man
Same to you bro
We don’t want this other narrating voice we want the deep god like voice
Lol we need hin
if it’s not the guy with the deep voice i don’t watch it
How about Randall Cunningham? After his MVP season in
1990, injuries destroyed his career until retiring after a 1995 injury. He returned in 1997 and showed flashes of brilliance. In 1998, he took over Brad Johnson and led the new age Vikings to have the greatest offense yet, and became a 1st Team All-Pro.
i miss alex smith. i wish he wouldn't have retired. he turned around 3 losing teams and got zero credit for it. especially from the fans of those teams. they didn't deserve you alex. can't wait to see your next idea put into action =)
I think the KC fans appreciate what he did, even if not necessarily how he did it.
Gotta cheer for Smith. I remember seeing that game with a co-worker who was a skins fan and I turned to him right at the moment he got sacked and said Smith’s career literally just ended before our eyes. I’m happy for him and that he proved me wrong.
Pretty sure earl morall won a Super Bowl with 2 different teams way before Peyton did though
starting?
AP’s 2012 season was both incredible and improbable!
And then he beat his kid and was forgotten ever since
Earl morrall the greatest backup quarterback ever
Nick Foles: and i took that personally
Morrall is still better.
@@davidmock7592 did yall just forget Steve young lmao
Cooper Manning Did Not have a "neck injury". He was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis his Freshman year at Ole Miss.
I also had hotchkins lymphoma! Happy to see Berry overcome it!
I remember the game that Alex Smith got injured, it rly hit me 😭😭😭😭
No.1 lamar jackson coming back in the 4th quarter from cramps😎
You mean from the toilet
Keanu Neal had 2 straight season ending injuries and came back and had a pro bow type season with over 100 tackles and an interception and a sack with 9 TFL’s
They better make a freaking movie about Smith's recovery
Stefon diggs was a star for minnesota but this year he was just something else
Alex Smith is the definition of a stellar man. On and off the field.
Commenting before watching, if Big Ben isn’t on here, I riot
Also Doug Flutie played for the Bears after the USFL and before the Pats. I think a runner up player would be Tommy Maddox because he was drafted into the NFL in 1992 but bounced around a few teams and he played a little more than Kurt Warner who really didn't get chance but should have gotten one but Maddox struggled and didn't play very good and then was cut in 1997 and after that he sold insurance until 1999 when he got a call from the New Jersey Red Dogs of the Arena league where he did very well and then was signed into the 1st version of the XFL in 2001 and won the championship and MVP and then Signed with the Steelers in 2001 as a backup and became the starter in 2002 and won comeback player of the year.
Nonstop the goat RUclips page
You can't come back if you were never there to begin with, so Kurt Warner's stint with the Rams doesn't belong on this list. However, you could make a very strong case for his stint with the Cardinals.
Great video but where is Tedy Bruschi? He suffered a stroke in 2005 and just eight months later, he was playing again.
We'll always love you in KC EB
What a game for foles
No love for Thomas Davis? Came back after three(!!) ACL tears. Also played in a Super Bowl with a broken arm
Who cares
This is good content
Awesome
Watched Earl Morrell when he was with the Giants!!! 2022
peyton manning’s poor neck
wish RG3 was in this really wish he had a come back story
Earl seems like a great guy
QB Shawn Matthew Buren who played for the Sacramento Hornet's from 1992 to 1994 started his freshman Sophomore and Junior Season's but he was placed on IR for his entire Senior year do to a Season ending injury Wich he suffered in the Hornets 2nd
Pre - Season Game ,then entering the NFL at all most 6 feet 7 inches tall at 231pounds he ran a 4.45 in the 40 yard dash and was Left Handed a Southpaw Drafted in the 7th round in 1994 by the Seattle Seahawks he was only there for 1 Season on the Practice Squad then traded to the 48ers he out played everyone in Practice he was in San Francisco for 5 season never being activated teams were wanting him then he got traded to the Dolphins the next 8 Seasons on the Dolphins Practice Squad all those years he new every playbook on every Team within 2 weeks he out shined every QB in Practice ,but there was 1 problem he kept getting traded to Teams that had Joe Montana Steve Young and Brett Farve and at the time the Hawks had Rick Meyer Wich everyone thought he was the next great Quarterback ,so that 1 problem was he went to Teams that were absolutely set at the QB potion Shawn Buren number 11 would've been a Elite QB for years ,he just never got his Shot to bad Shawn at the time if he went to say the Jets Cardinals Chargers Teams like that he would've at least been the 2nd String QB then no doubt would've became a Starting QB for one of those Teams that needed a Franchise QB he would've gotten his chance I know it doesn't happen a lot ,but I'm sure right now in 2022 there's probably a few players on the Practice Squad that could be a Elite Player ,but will never get the chance to start in a NFL game b t w having a QB like SMB at 6 feet 7 inches tall running a 4.45 in the 40 yard dash was unheard of in the mid 1990s Quarterback it's kinda crazy being on a Practice Squad Player in the NFL for 12 year's and that's it never getting his chance but his last 2 Season's he was paid 1.2 millon dollars each of those 2 Season's kind of crazy getting paid 2.4 millon dollars just being a Practice Player ,I believe his other 10 years Shawn made 250K a few years and a couple other years making around 550K at least he left the NFL not Broke hopefully Comeback player kinda hard to become one if
U are never given a chance to play Lol
Kurt Warner better be on this list
fun fact my grandfather works for the company that fixed Alex Smiths leg but also met him through zoom
Garrison Hearst broke his ankle to the point where the toes were pointing in the opposite direction and missed two full seasons and came back to have a really good season in 01. Becoming comeback player of the year that year.
Right now Doug Flutie has the second most franchise yards in CFL next to bo Levi Mitchell
Peyton had supernatural help coming back from that neck injury
The Greatest Player in CFL history is WARREN MOON
I cant wait to see the kurt Warner Netflix film looks good.
Video idea: how good was bo Jackson actually or Walter Payton
I hope cam will be on this list next year
You could do greatest comeback coaches and do Ron rivera
Tbh some of these are underdog stories
Ik this was before his career began, but James Connor was diagnosed with cancer and told he may never play again. Though his career isn’t going great, it’s still and underdog story for the ages.
Where’s the guy with the deep voice
In my opinion warren moon is the best CFL player of all time. He won 5 rings in 5 seasons
Nothing could flex on Wentz more than Foles winning SB MVP
I still can't beleive alex smith came back
1:49 Peyton Manning won comeback player of the year in 2012, not Peterson
Wait a second ... We have been bamboozled
You know it’s about drive it’s about power
day one of asking for most feared players in nfl history
The Ravens/Redskins rivalry is like no other it is the single greatest rivalry in all of sports
What
U good?
No bears packers
Eyyy Jordy what up dude
Did even watch 10 sec of the vid and I know #1 is Alex smith
we need an update list with geno smith and eventually damar hamlin
God bless everyone and have a good day
Can you do the NBA version once Klay Thompson returns? 🙏
KD should already be on that list
GO NICK FOLES wish he was still with the eagles
Crazy to believe that Nick Foles was on the Cheifs!
AP playing with the Titans right now
i got this for school lol
troy same lol
They should put Ron Rivera in here.
You forgot about Warner's second come back with the Arizona Cardinals.
Nonstop Sports: “Adrian Peterson is inhuman”
His hospitalized child: “So true lmaooo😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣”
Day 1 of asking for “How good was Ryan Shazier” that would be could speaking for his story
Hopefullyn Rashaad Penny can make this list in the future
Where is Drew Brees he literally rotated shoulder 360° and came back to be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever
He never missed a game. Started all 16 for SD in 05 and all 16 for NO in 06. Can't be a comeback if you were never gone
Pretty good list but shouldn't kurt warner be on here twice bc of his run with the Cardinals?
How can mike vick be over folk… guy won a damn super bowl vs the best to ever do it way better comeback
I’m 5 foot 10 and I met Doug Flutie he is 5 foot 7.
I see michal Vick in video: boo!!!
For the love of god. Smith only had one season on the Washington Football Team. 2 seasons as a redskin
AP also tore lcl during college so he should be 1
*Berry Strong*
Day 4 of asking to do the story of stefon diggs
I hate it how Eric berry wasn’t apart of that Chiefs super bowl team.
13:00
So no Thomas Davis? 3 ACL tears on the same knee and came back to play in a superbowl and make a pro bowl
Hey where’s the dude with the Batman voice
Joe Burrow 2022
Troy polamalu!!
Soon dak gunna be in one of these
Bruh. You're story on Nick Foles is wrong. Foles was contemplating retirement then Andy Reid says come play with me he did for 2 games played good. Then he signed with the eagles and then won the super bowl
Earl Moore second best backup
Redskins injured AP and Peyton Manning
Okay almost everyone around the world who watches football clapped for Alex Smith's return to football.
