Winning in the NFL is incredibly hard. It takes a blend of elite players, superb coaching, and quite a bit of luck to win one Super Bowl. So when a team can win multiple in a short period of time, those teams become legends, stories handed down by generations for decades to come. These teams are so few and far between, we call them dynasties. Today we look at the top 10 dynasties in NFL history.
10 Greatest Dynasties In NFL History Спорт
Top 5:
5) Packers 1960-1967
4) Cowboys 1992-1995
3) Steelers 1972-1979
2) 49ers 1981-1994
1) Patriots 2001-2019
Ummm... You forgot to realize he lost 2 of those super bowls to Eli Manning, and some of those years they didn't even make the super bowl.
Also to Nick Foles
@@michaelguscott9515 You forgot to mention they went to 9 superbowls by far the most. How many has eli been to?
@@michaelguscott9515 brady has 6. That's eli, peyton and elway combined haha
Hmmm so he made the SB 9 times in 18 years? So get this. The Patriots have a better chance of making the super bowl during that time than half the teams have of winning 50% of there games. I am a Jets fan, and I can’t deny. I hate their guts but u gotta admit it’s pretty impressive. To be that good over that long, and don’t say it wasn’t long. I am a Jets fan, It felt like 50 years for me. It’s impressive. Best dynasty for sure. He didn’t include the Super Bowl losses because there’s so much to include. 6-3 is better then 6-0 when ur grading dynasty’s.
16 division titles... 11 straight... yea I highly doubt that record will ever be broken
I mean Dolphins, Bills and Jets aren’t really a threat.

Chiefs have 19 with five straight and , unless the broncos or raiders get a franchise qb, and until la can close out games, I'd say they it's definetly not impossible for the chiefs to win 7 more. It won't be easy by any means, but not impossible

Yep! Rice had key catches and yac on that drive, but it was the attention he garnered that left at throwing lane open to the great John Taylor. This guy is good but needs to fact check himself. He also called Aikman “Trey”

Where's the Steelers of the 1970s?

Although it does my heart good to see the Patriots atop this list, I am surprised that the 1970's Steelers weren't mentioned.
This list is B.S. having the 49'ers and Cowboys - and not the STEELERS?!?

The Pittsburgh Steelers 4 Super Bowls in 6 years in the 1970s. Enough said.
Brady didn't come in mid season he came in in the 2nd game
And it happened in 2001 not 2000
seahawks would’ve had the dynasty of the 2010’s if they ran the ball. change my mind.
Just think. If the seahawks ran the ball, they maybe would have won the super bowl. Then maybe kam chancellor and earl thomas and marshaun lynch might of stayed, and they might have one 3 more super bowls, maybe more! Only because they ran the ball.
I will

There'll always be arguments about the pats line ups greatness, is Brady the GOAT, is Belichek the GOAT coach, is craft and GOAT owner etc. But that dynasty for that long these days is nutty. It looks like it belongs back with the Bears in the 1930s/40s

Also the steelers were the first team with 6 super bowl wins and are the only team with 4/6 super bowl wins the patriots only had once 3 out of 4
It's kinda disappointing that just about everyone doesn't think that going to the Super Bowl 4x in a row isn't a dynasty. The Buffalo Bills went 4 years straight, of course they lost everyone of them. But the team talent to go 4 year's in a row is amazing. Peace and love y'all 🤟
Im sorry that’s not a dynasty, that’s a path of infamy 😭😭 Poor bills
If they won at least like 3 of them, that would be a dynasty.

My favorite team is the pittsburgh steelers 💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
I love these all-time NFL and NBA videos, and the narrator has a great voice. But I seriously suspect that the deep male voice is a computer voice, because it mispronounced so many names and words! Check out the pronunciations of Chuck Noll's last name, Norm Van Brocklin's last name is "Van Brocklin", not "Brocklin", Paul Hornung, etc., etc., etc. It is very funny, though!
amazing idea
Boston fan since 1963 with my father watching patriots, many bad football games in 1/2 empty Shaffer stadium until #12 shows up, they had two dynasties over the 20 year period, one at the begining and one at the end and some really good teams in between them.
I feel blessed that I was born in 1992 because when I was a little boy 45 years old I got to see Michael Irvin and Troy akeman play and Emmett Smith
No excuse for confusing John Taylor for Jerry Rice, especially considering how iconic the play was.
There has been several teams who have came so close to becoming a dynasty
I am not a Steelers fan but how are they not on this list. I am not sure off the top of my head who to take off the list but the Steelers are an all time great team and the best team of the 70s. I like how they showed 70s Steelers highlights at the end but didn't put them in their list. It was an informative list but missing an important team. This may be their goal but still.
Dwight Clark to Joe Montana: “Ever notice how they don’t call it ‘the throw?’” RIP Dwight.
You know your the best franchise when ur on this list TWICE. Go Pack Go
@Zaayan Hasan the packers have 13 total titles 9 of which were nfl championships 4 if which were super bowls
@@sullynutz1019 yes but they have also existed for 40 years longer than most of the current NFL franchises and played in a league with far fewer teams for most of their titles.
Ok................the only team with the best slogan tho is DA BEARS

Franco caught the ball I paused the play as it was an inch off the ground
There is actually no footage in existence whatsoever of the particular angle you claimed you paused play at. I 100% believe that Franco caught that ball legitimately. But there is no footage anywhere on Earth that shows the bottom half of that ball near the ground. Finding that footage would be equivalent to finding a video of another shooter on the grassy knoll.
@@kevinneugent94
Even Franco himself said I can't say if the ball touched the ground or not, I have also heard him answer the question saying maybe it did and maybe it didn't, which leads me to believe that the tip of the ball did in fact touch the ground.
The Steelers are the only team where he talked about defense ALOT They the best If you don’t count the pats
The 49ers and Cowboys where better

Yeah, I caught that as well. Trey Aikman. And Paul Hornug. It's pronounced Horning.
My favorite team is the saints but sadly they only won one super bowl

Thanks for including the Reskins in this one. Did i miss the Steelers of the 70's? I would have had the 86-99 Broncos in this even though they only won 2 out of 5. They did go to 3 SB in the late 80's before winning 2 in the late 90's. Also the early 90's Bills, and the early 70's Vikings.
Dallas was also 2/5 in SBs in the 1970s
Apparently the creator of this video doesn’t recognize the 70’s
You deserve millions of subs
Before Lombardi Turn Around the Packers Around in A Dynasty there were so many HOF Players on their team and they had a few losing seasons before the goat of coaches change the winning ways
crazy
Trey aikman lol
R.I.P John Madden, he was such a good coach and madden maker😭😭
New dynasty chiefs 🥁🏆🏆🏆
Personal favorite is the '70s Vikings! The most exciting team I've ever seen. The defense made teams fall apart and Tarkenton was pulling off stuff way ahead of his time. 4 super bowls in 7 years cemented them as one of the best teams of that era even they were not a dynasty as they didn't win any I just loved going back and watching them.
No, I'm not discrediting the amazing Steelers or Cowboys. I'm just commenting my favorite team of the era and an underrated dominant force that just never did get that championship win.
The forgotten dynasty: The Detroit Lions 1952-1957. How about a team with Bobby Layne, Doak Walker, Joe Schmidt, Dick Stanfel, Jack Christiansen, Yale Lary, Lou Creekmur, Hunchy Hoernschemeyer, Vince Banonis, Charlie Ane, Les Bingaman, Thurman McGraw, Lavern Torgeson, Buddy Parker, etc. Detroit won 3 NFL Championships, 4 Conference Championships in 6 years.
Jimmy Johnson arguably built the dynasty, not Jerry Jones. The Herschel Walker trade was by Johnson. Jerry's feud with Jimmy ultimately led to their downfall after the 1995 season. After all, these Cowboys players believe that with Jimmy Johnson, they would have won even more Super Bowls.
1. Patriots 2001-2018 6 Rings 💍 9 Super Bowl Appearances 2. 49ers 1981-1994 5 Rings💍 5 Super Bowl Appearances 3. Steelers 1974-1979 4 Rings 💍 4 Super Bowl Appearances 4. Cowboys 1992-1995 3 Rings 💍 3 Super Bowl Appearances
5. Commanders 1982-1991 3 Rings 💍 4 Super Bowl Appearances
The Chicago bears are my favorite football team !!!! ❤❤❤❤
It's obvious that the people who put this list together know absolutely nothing about football. The Pittsburg Steelers of the 1970's are without question one of the three greatest dynasties in NFL history
Apologies to the great city of Pittsburgh (and my cousin Tom) for the misspell
I remember the catch but
I love history, and I love football, but wow I need more research on the very early teams, yet I know most of their names. Decatur Staley's I see the name change reason.
Where are the 70’s Steelers? 2 back to back Super Bowl champions.
tom brady and gronks pats.
And now the Chiefs have the best chance at the 2020's dynasty
True
Nah I don’t think there will be a dynasty for a while and thank god. We can go back to the normal days.
C.I.A just give a chance. At less. 👍
@@EdyPro1 the chiefs will never be a Dynasty
Buccaneers
The 70s Steelers should be on this list. They won 4 Super Bowls in 6 years and they never lost one.
Can’t take this video seriously if you don’t have the 1970s Steelers on here. The only team to win 4 Super Bowls in 6 years and back to back twice. These two accomplishments were done with the same roster, 22 players have 4 rings, no franchise has so many players with that number of rings.
I'm not a bandwagon fan but I have to say I am a fan of the pats
15 sec in and I'm gonna say the top three is Pat's, steel curtain, then the Packers or the cowboys
The Hogs was the offensive line, not defense that was capital punishment in 91
Good
in the version i just watched on 1/17/21 the steelers are omitted
Oh ho ho...You've just pissed off a lot of Steelers fans for forgetting the team that won 4 superbowls in 6 years.
Dayton Flyers ?
The great quarterback of the 90’s cowboys Trey Aikman
Bill: Palpatine
Tom: Vader
Didn’t really address the Jerry Jones/Jimmy Johnson split. It was ridiculous for an owner to fire a coach that just won back to back super bowls.
This video also made it seem like Switzer became coach in 1995 but he was already coach in 1994 when they lost in the NFC championship.
the cheifs dynasty has been born!

San Francisco was a dominant in there division from 80 through 1998.
I had to double check this list…no Steelers from the Steel Curtain Era.
Oakland Raider for LIfe!!
I know I’m kinda late on this one but Steelers fan is here and where is my team on this list we should be number 1 where we at ??
My list not in order would be 1970s dolphins, 1970s steelers, 1970s cowboys, 1980s 49ers, 1990s cowboys, 1960s packers, 2000's patriots, 2010s patriots, 1990s bills, and redskins of the 80s. This list consists of only superbowl era.
Actual Fact
Jerry Rice did not catch the game winning touchdown against the Bengals how you get 80 from 82🤦🏾♂
I caught that too. This video was pretty silly.
Nice video but you need to double check your research.
1. John Taylor caught the game winning touchdown against the Bengals.
2. Brady didn’t takeover for Bledsoe until the 2001 season.
The Patriots didn't become the winningest team in terms of super bowls. They tied the Steelers, who accomplished the feat 10 years earlier in super bowl XLIII. They also didnt go 3 of 4 twice, they went 3 of 4 in the 2000s ( XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX) and 3 of 5 in the 2010s (XLIX, LI, LIII)
I was looking for this comment lol
You remind me of the old voice of tps
Hue Jackson's Browns was a dynasty
Pats Nation 🤟🏾
1970’s Steelers with four Super Bowls wins and the Cowboys late 60’s to late 80’s with over 20 straight years or winning records and 5 Super Bowl Appearances and multi Championship Appearances. Both of these Omissions are insane. Sorry, but you missed it there.
Pack got 5 titles in 7 years and didn't cheat to give themselves an advantage. They are the real best dynasty of all time.
Will chiefs see themselves on this list one day?
If Mahomes stays heathland the probably will.😎
We will see but I'm pulling for my team to finally be a dynasty. The Chiefs history is integral to the modern NFL even existing at all and the fact they only had one Lombardi before 2019 was very disappointing.
Rip John Madden one of the best coaches of all time
Champion
Crazy how some of these aren’t even dynasties 💀 a dynasty is a team who won 3 times in a certain decade. Aka, the 1950s Browns, 1960s Packers, 1970s Steelers, 1980s 49ers, 1990s Cowboys, 2000s Pats, and 2010s Pats.
Brady did not replace Bledsoe mid- season, it was week 2.
5 NFL Championships in 7 years is not bad for the Packers considering they were perennial losers prior to Lombardi. Never been heard of before, might never happen again.
No surprise there, Pats were the best but they are dunzo Washington. Throughout that reign of the Patriots, I was getting pretty ticked off that Brady won so many SB's with his roster. How they won against ATL, even I don't know.
