Sports Records That Will NEVER Be Broken - Спорт
Fun fact: the Gretzky brothers hold the record for most points scored by siblings in the NHL
Wayne Gretzky had 2,857
Brent Gretzky had 4
Point of note, they lead brother duos. The five Sutter brothers combine for more points than the Gretzky duo
The twins got reasonably close 😂
Need to play at least 500 games to count... sorry
"Wilt's 100 point game will never be broken"
MyCareer Player: "Allow me to introduce myself"
Players that aren't in the NBA: Allow me to introduce myself
Honorable mention: Joe DiMaggio 56 hit streak. Hitting a baseball 56 stright days
It's especially hard to break because some players don't even play 56 games in a row.
He also got BIG leeway with a couple of those hits. Look it up, if it were today he wouldnt have had 56, he would have lost it around 30 if I remember right. It was an error and they gave him credit for a hit. But it does say 56 in the record books sooo...
@Fries it’s not unbreakable. It’s not even the record. Ted Williams reached based 84 games in a row in 1949.
@Fries it takes .2 seconds on google to find out you’re wrong lol Ted Williams does hold it. The fuck are all you people going on about? Literally cherry picking a “unbreakable record” that was broken 🤦♂️
Indisputable Wayne Gretzky has the most unbreakable records
Not straight days straight games
You can put John Stockton's career assists and steals records up there too. Those 2 records will never be broken.
And Wilt's rebounding record
Another NHL record that will never be matched is Mario Lemieux's 5 goals in 5 different ways in the same game (regular strength, short-handed, power play, penalty shot, and empty net). The amount of luck needed just for an attempt to match it is so insanely high that nobody will ever get it.
@Fries Yes, 5 goals in a game by one player is pretty uncommon especially today.
@Fries only 41 times has a player scored 5 in one game and on average there’s 1000s nhl games a year
Gretzkys all time points, he has more assists than the next person has points.
He was a god
@@OscarLopez-jq7my too bad god dosent exists >:D
@@Pzyk0s yes he does and he played in the NHL
@@waterdrinker_ Mario was better
11 titles in 13 years is unbeatable
Wayne Gretzky and his brother have the world record for the most goals scored by 2 siblings. Wayne's brother scored 1 goal
Honourable mention:
Lewadowski's 5 goals in 9 minutes
Yeah or ronaldo breaking the record for most goals in history
Even more than 18 wins, Jack Nicklaus' tally of 37 top 2 finishes in Majors is just insane and completely untouchable.
Honorable mention: Nolan Ryan's 7 MLB no-hitters. The next closest is Kofax with 4 and he retired nearly 50 years ago. No one else has more than 2.
Verlander
@@riltalk4055 oh yeah, three but also most likely retired
@@kevinogill6726 Verlander has stated that he wants to pitch into his mid 40s, like Ryan, he's just had some recent injuries. Damn I hope he stops pitching for the cheater Astros, tho.
@@thareelhelloagain Who do you hope he plays for? I was a Yankees fan as a kid but not so much anymore. I just like the game.
@@kevinogill6726 I'd love to see him on the Yankees, and I'd love to see him return to Detroit and close out his career as a Tiger in his last few years.
I think from cricket Sachin Tendulkar's hundred centuries and sir Don Bradman's average of 99 runs per game also deserves to be in this list
Another NonStop Sports upload. Let's go!
WOW!! Great video
The hardest record to break isn't Wilt's 100 point game; it's his 23,000 plus career rebounds. Plus he's got several unbreakable ones in the 72 records he holds - most notable is his record of 115 50 point games!
I believe the 100 point game will be broke 2 players this year alone scored 70 plus
Brady’s record of touchdown passes will never be broken
Mahomes: hold my beer
the rules today is favoring the qbs it will be broken soon
@@OscarLopez-jq7my Not Even Him
@Friesim goignt obe honest with you, I did not know half of these facts
@Fries yes

The NBA was up to *14* the year Russell won his last championship and immediately retired - and only had 8 teams for a FEW years early in his career.
Also, talent was not as diluted in his era, there was at least one case of a team with *3 Future Hall of Fame* players in his era that didn't make the playoffs at all.
Always a good day when a new video drops
Manny Pacquiao won twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions
John Stocktons assist record tho
I think Glenn Hall's record of 502 consecutive games played for a goalie deserved a spot on here. You rarely see goalies play anywhere close to a full 82 game season...let alone reaching 502 games lol
Nadia Comăneci- Only person to ever score perfect 10. The laws have changed so it is impossible to get a perfect 10 now. Should be top of the list.
She's not the only person to score a perfect 10. She was the first person to score a perfect 10. You're right about the way the gymnastics scoring is set up now before your routine you can't score a perfect 10 anymore
Honorable mention has to be John Stockton’s NBA assist and steal record.
I broke john stockon assist record 2 years ago on 2k. I had 37 against the pistons.
I referring to his all-time steal and assist records
@Fries Both are quite impossible to surpass, but steals would be much harder to break. You can statpad an assist, however you cant statpad a steal
Nadal with 14 French open titles comes to mind!🎾
Shoutout to Nonstop Sports for always putting out banger content 🔥
0:33 Shows that Wilt hit a lot of 2s in his life
🤣
So he claims
Micheal Phelps olympic medal record is pretty unbeatable
that gretzky one is insane though!!! 😱
You left out Richard Petty’s 200 career NASCAR wins.
That record will never be broken because of the sheer longevity of his racing career and the fact NASCAR doesn’t run on as many tracks or races as it did in the mid-60’s-70’s.
How long was his career
@@trcnasherar3676 His first race was in 1958 and last in 1992
@@jennifersman7990 that’s a long career
Whitney Houston's National Anthem Performance is the single most miraculous feat ever accomplished at any sporting event
Wilt also had 55 boards that night, the closing being Kevin Love with 31
Plenty of players with more than 31 boards, Wilt & Bill Russell did it multiple time
To be fair, among older school hockey guys, Bobby Orr is often in the discussion of GOAT. Although I would put Gretz #1, Orr was also absolutely absurd (while his knees were healthy) - he revolutionized defense in hockey, and his stats for being a D man is almost like Gretzky's stats as a centre.
Yes I agree with this. I go back and fourth on the topic. Goodie Howe and Mario Lemieux also have very legitimate cases for hockey’s GOAT although I usually stick to Orr and Gretzky.
I know he isn't at all popular in America but don badmans batting average of 99.94 more than 30 higher than the next best and about double the average of many all time greats is arguably the single most outstanding sports statistic of all time in any sport.
Yup.
Imagine getting injured...
In GOLF?.
Gretzky one is near impossible to beat but it’s because the game has gotten so much more harder than when he played hockey. Due to all the competition, skills and raw talent so many players possess it’s very hard to get 200 points a season. Espically 4 times.
how did you miss BOLT? nit put him in the thumbnail?
@@azumuh When and how was his record broken? Was the guy falling out of a plane?
I think someone can get that 19.19 200m record. That 100m record of 9.58 no way!!
Could you do a how good was "Revis Island" actually
yo i really thought you guys would have put usain Bolt's 9.58 in there
its an amazing record, but it'll get broken in the next 10-20 years
@@SilhouetteLifter No way. I think they can break that 19.19 200m record
Rice actually had 25140yds receiving and 1700recs with 219 touchdown receptions
Wilt chamberlain 48.5 minutes a game in 1961-62 season
Everybody knows about that record though but it will never be broken cause of load management
The same season he AVERAGED 50.4 points and 25.7 boards a game. Wilt's normal game was your average player's *career best*.
In cricket no one can beat don bradman's average of 99.94 in tests.
And no one can beat Sachin Tendulkar record of 100 international centuries and playing 200 tests.
Honestly I thought if anyone can reach 100 centuries mark then it is kohli but at this point it seems impossible
Why isnt bradman in the video?
Or sachin 200 tests?
@@chrisjohnston5401 bcoz it's an american channel and they don't know much about cricket.
Secretariat's Belmont Stakes time of 2 minutes and 24 seconds. No horse has gotten within 2 seconds of the time in 50 years.
Al Attles words, he was an ex-teammates for years and a close friend of Wilt Chamberlain :
"Today's coaches would make it almost impossible [to score 100 points in a game]. The organized double-teams you see today didn't happen back then. The only team going back to when I was playing that would kind of have double teams would be Boston. For instance, they'd put [Jim] Loscutoff in back of Wilt and [Bill] Russell in front. But it wasn't organized."
I wouldn’t say there’s nobody else in the GOAT conversation in hockey. Lemuix has to be in there
Mario was the most gifted player ever IMO. Injuries and illness were the problem.
One of my favorite records is Mike Richard's 3 NHL goals in 3v5 shorthanded situations :D There is one on average in 1500 NHL matches.
Sorry but Wilt’s 50.4ppg season is far less likely to be broken than his single game points record.
And nobody is getting close to Aleksandr Karelin’s 13yr undefeated streak in Greco-Roman Wrestling, the last 6 of which no opponent even scored a point in him.
I’d also be amazed if anyone beats Phelps’ Olympic medal or gold tally. Can’t see someone completing the 100m/200m double at three consecutive Olympic Games like Bolt either.
Me just realizing I played hockey in the arena where wilt scored a 100 point game a few years ago… I’m from Quebec and we won the tournament btw
As far as golf records go, try this one on for size: in 1945, at age 33 Byron Nelson won 11 consecutive PGA tournaments and 18 total wins that season alone. Yes, it was a very different time, but those records are considered unbreakable AFAIK.
The Amount of points Pete Maravich scored in college at LSU and his scoring average of 44.9 points a game. Joe DiMaggio 56 game hitting streak, the 10 out of 12 years UCLA won the NCAA Basketball Championship.. The 5 world Records Eric Heiden set at the 1980 Olympics in Speed Skating...the amount of wins in the Downhill by Franz Klammer ...?
RAFAEL NADAL'S 13 FRENCH OPEN GRAND SLAM TITLES
There is one record that can't not be broken and that is Sir Donald Bradman's 100 average in the history of cricket
I think it is almost a 100. unbeatable anyway.
Thank you for appreciating football and Messi, it really ain´t that hard
IMO, the two most statistically impressive records in major international team sports that will never be broken are Wayne Gretzky's total points tally and (Sir) Don Bradman's career batting average in Test cricket (the highest level of the game).
Bradman scored nearly 7000 runs at an average of 99.94 runs per innings batted. Using the standard cutoff of a minimum of 2000 career runs scored, the closest person to him is South Africa's Graeme Pollock with a career average of 60.97.
This, in a sport that dates back 145 years, is unreal, especially when you consider that the all-time best of the best average in the 50s, and only about 30 players out of the thousands who've suited up in those 145 years have managed to maintain that sort of average over their careers. Of those, only three (Pollock, West Indies' George Headley, and Australia's Steven Smith, who's still active and whose average will likely drop before he's done) have touched 60.
Bradman was so dominant that England, in a desperate attempt to thwart the Don to beat Australia in 1932-33, devised a tactic called "Bodyline" which was basically just a directive to mercilessly bean him and the rest of the team until they couldn't take it anymore. Thanks to the poorly prepared pitches of the time and an ultra-fast bowler named Harold Larwood, it worked, but it caused such a stir that it eventually filtered its way into politics and soured relations between the two nations. The strategy was banned soon after with an amendment to the rules of cricket. Those rules are still in use today.
WILT AND 20,000🤣🤣🤣 Nonstop sports is a g
the brett farve one is actually hella fucking sad bc the man was so addicted to vicodin & needed to keep getting battered to get his fix
Honorable Mention: Brady Super Bowls
Don't forget the painkillers for Favre

Bill was very similar weight to Hakeem, who had no issues beating Shaq across the board as often as not DESPITE Hakeem being very late career by the time Shaq entered the league.
Also keep in mind Bill had to face WILT many times a year every year, who was not that much lighter than Shaq and was EVEN STRONGER.
No, Shaq would NOT have bullied Bill Russell.
Uwe Hohns 104m in Javelin won't get broken because they changed the Javelin after that
Other Gretzky records that will probably not be broken: 92 goals in a season. 163 assists in a season. 50 goals in the first 39 games. 51 game point streak.
The only player I ever saw who could have matched the 100 pts game by Wilt Chamberlain was 2005-2008 Kobe Bryant.
Kobe came out of a game with 62 pts in 3 quarters against the Mavericks, and he outscored them!
Kobe got 81 pts against the Raptors, and 56pts in 3 quarters against the Memphis Grizzlies. He was so damn good! Had he stayed in the game against Dallas, and had the game been close to give him an overtime, I think he'd have done 100
Realy, you can't pronounce Djokovic after all this time.
Pistol Pit Maravich, still leading NCAA scorer with 44.2 ppg
The closest to wilt 100point score was Kobe when he score 81pts against the raptors
I'm surprised you didn't include Uwe Hohn's 104.80 m javelin throw. They changed the javelin after that to make sure it couldn't be thrown that far for future athletes.
Thank you.
No one cares about javelin tho
It's highly likely Zelezny would've broken Hohn's record with the old javelin if it had been in use when he started to hit his prime. Speaking of which, that 98.48m bomb of his will likely never be broken either.
You chose the WORST picture of Firmino at 3:15 hahaha
The biggest deficit record was beaten already, it’s 73 now
Nolen Ryan's 7 career no-hitters....anyone?
W vid
You forgot Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart.
Another Unbreakable record: Steve Yzerman being team captain of the Detroit Red Wings for 1,303 games across 20 years 1986 - 2006
Jack Taylor completed 187 consecutive games he started between 1901 and 1906.
What about Jimmie Johnson winning 5 straight championships?
Pretty good. But here are two that I think should be on here:
1) MLB career steals: Ricky Henderson with 1,406. This is insane. Of current players, there is no one within 1,000 of that, I think it's Dee Strange-Gordon with 336 (he's 34). The league leader last year stole about 40 bases. If you took a current player who is relatively young and has a high steals rate, say Trea Turner who is 29, has 230 steals and averages 30/year, he would have to average 100 steals per year for the next 12 years to break the record. Truly unbreakable. Seems unlikely that any current player will even make it to 500.
2) Pete Maravich average 44.2 points per game in NCAA career. WIth no 3 point line, and no shot clock. Even with 3 pointers now and the faster game because of a shot clock, only a handful of players have ever averaged 30 ppg in a SEASON much less a career. Again, it's hard to see how this gets broken.
No disrespect to Pete Rose, but Ichiro holds the record in my heart. Japanese baseball may not be the same as MLB but I think he should be mentioned for his career hit total.
Even if you don't recognize Ichiro's record, at the very least he's proven that Rose's record isn't unreachable. Rickey Henderson's stolen base record (1406) is the one that should have been mentioned. Lou Brock is second at 938 so Henderson is basically Brock and a half. And the way the game is played nowadays, it's doubtful anyone will even come close to Brock.
@@big8dog887 Dee Strange-Gordon is the active SB leader with...333.
Usain Bolts 100 metres in 9.58 seconds?
definitely crazy, but not unbeatable. it'll be broken in probably 10-20 years
You’ve done Russell dirty there, he stopped wilt from winning, I think he would have found a way to defend shaq
Accurate Title: American Sports records that will never be broken, and Messi, for the views
Don’t be biased for a second, messi’s 91 goals in a single season where he out scored the likes of teams such as FC Bayern and Arsenal will not be broken Lewa was the second closest with 60 something goals just last year. Plus Messi also hold the record for most ballon dors with 7 and most consecutive ballon dors with 4 in a row, he more than deserves to be on this list.
Walt Frazier played 88 regular season games
Wilt could have his own two part 15 minute video
Another thing about Bill Russell's 11 NBA titles: That is also the most championships by a player in sports history.
Rìchard for the Montreal Canadiens won 11 Stanley Cups in the NHL
What is the equivalent of a championship in football/soccer? The UCL or the league title?
Manny Pacquiao 8 weight world champion
Actually, Pete Rose's hits record is possible. Ichiro has more hits if you include his stats in Japan. Although Japanese pitching is worse than MLB pitching, there are less games. Also, since Ichiro was basically a bench guy from his time with the Marlins, the record isn't impossible
No it’s not
Rose himself should never have broken Cobb's record; he literally only broke it because he was the manager and kept playing himself in the regular lineup about 5 years after anyone else would have. Completely fake accomplishment. Also, he's a massive tool (and don't anybody give me some dumb comment about how Cobb was a bad person; he has had his character assassinated for decades but was actually more than a decent person who was actively supportive of integrating baseball).
Charlie Hustle's all time base hits record will Never be broken. The all time stolen bases record will Never be broken either. The game is played differently today
He forgot about Barry Bond's career home runs record
Baseball is real dirty today and the baseball fields are small. Someone will break that record
How about Manny Pacquiao's 8 world division in boxing?
Meh
Why wasn't nolan Ryan's strike out record on here
It’s nadal or ferder
Did anybody notice that he said Beal averaged the most points last season :( poor curry
he meant shots
You clearly weren't listening to the video, at all. The entire conversation was about shot ATTEMPTS. He mentioned Wilt's 62 shot _attempts_ , then mentioned the league average in shot *attempts* , then mentioned Beal's league lead in shot *ATTEMPTS* .
Someone will win 11 titles in the NBA long before someone breaks Cal's streak. With planned rest days and more focus on every little injury this record doesn't have a chance to be broken.
is only me or does it annoy everyone when they said goat in tennis it was federer or djokovic and no nadal
they will get broken
Always putting track in the beginning but not in the list
Yes, joyokovic might be the greatest in tennis😂
The most unbreakable record in sports should be Bill Russell - Total Rebounds in Finals Games.
The #2 on that list, Wilt Chamberlain, managed *JUST UNDER HALF AS MANY* , #3 is Elgin Baylor at about ONE THIRD, and the closest any player has managed since Wilt (who left the NBA one year after Baylor retired) is #4 Lebron James who is a short distance behind Baylor and MIGHT eventually pass him - barely.
For comparison to the records listed in the video:
Wilt 100 vs Kobe 78 - a little over 2/3ds, and on current players Klay Thompson recently managed 60 in *3 quarters*.
The #2 on NHL Points is slightly over 2/3ds of Wayne Gretsky's total.
Messi's record? 7% MORE than the previous record (91 to 85) - not exactly a wide margin.
Cy Young - #2 had 16% fewer complete games (741 to 646) - but players are almost never *allowed* to pitch a complete game any more.
Rice - on yards, 30% ahead of #2 (Larry Fitzgerald) who was still active in 2020 (but probably going to retire VERY soon after 15 years in the league)
The gap from Rice to Randy Moss on touchdowns is only 27% but Moss IS retired.
Ripken? 23% ahead of Lou Gehrig in #2.
Bill Russell's 11 championships in 13 years is almost matched by Sam Jones - 10 in 12 - but they WERE teammates and Bill was more important to that dynasty.
It's also notable that of the Top 10 entries on NBA players with championships, you have to drop down to the 3 way tie for 7'th place (at 7 championships) to find the first player that was NOT a Russell teammate - and even THAT far down 1 of the 3 in that tie is Frank Ramsey ANOTHER Bill Teammate (then add Bob Cousy as one of the folks tied for *10th* on that list with 6).
Farve? This is a NFL specific record, and even THEN he's exactly 10% ahead of #2 (Jim Marshall) - other sports have blown this record away, but they do play a lot more games per season/year in some other sports.
Nicolas? You mentioned Tiger at only 3 back, is still active, and only a couple years since his last Major win. Almost doesn't qualify for this video, Tiger still has a shot at it.
Pete? Right about 1.5% (yes ONE AND A HALF PERCENT) ahead of #2 (Ty Cobb), though nobody since Pete has come particularly close (closest current player is Pujols, but he's close to retirement and over 28% behind).
To be fair, most of these records ARE likely to never be broken (watch out for Tiger) - but they also have ALL had much closer calls than Bill's record.
Rickey Henderson has 49% more stolen bases than Lou Brock (1406 to 938). Highest active is Dee Strange-Gordon with 333.
@@Kylora2112 Not bad, but not close to equal.
1.5 time the closest ever is NOT double.
The "vs current" however I grant is more impressive.
But Bill managed his feat in 2/3'd as many years in the league as Lebron - Ricky has a long career comparable in length to Lou's I think?
Honorable mention tom Brady 600+touchdowns.
There is too much baseball and USA in this list. To start; Maybe Noriaki Kasai could get a mention?
Brett Farve has 297 starts. Where did you get your facts from?
321 including playoff games
Honorable mention : Lionel Messi got 4 Ballon d'ors in a row.
Orr and Lemieux were both better players so the debate absolutely exists
Lewis Hamilton 103 F1 Wins and counting
Haaland might break 91 record
I made it until the part where you compared Bill Russell to Kobe, James Harden, and Hakeem Olajuwon. I get the Hakeem comparison, but how tf you gonna compare a center to two shooting guards? 😂
