If I had this hachet, I would simply attach a handle to it and take it in use.
But this guy is next level.
Hats off to you brother 👊
i am always surprised by the extra steps you take long after i would have declared the project finished, the difference between a competent and an extraordinary piece every time
Beautiful work. For people who questioned why the handle was short, this type could be used for hunting, backpacking on the mountain which is more practical being shorter so it could fit into a backpack. I have used similar once on a long trip to mountains. Its very essential tool to have beside the knife and a hand saw.
You did a beautiful job it looks very good 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very nice work! Thanks for showing us how it should be done.
A great restoration. This would make an excellent camp axe. Thanks!
Excellent lovely finish thank you ✊✊✊✊
I liked how you chamfered the edges on the back and the small detail on the bottom! Excellent cleanup and nice little additions! Great work man!
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless 🙌 🙏
Great job on the head. But completely blew the handle. Have a look at some good hatchet handles and give it another try. Good luck taking the one you made out.
Agreed, but drilling that handle out to rehang it isn't going to be difficult.
Wery nice axe. Like from Russia.
Stunning little hatched.
Now, I really like that. Fantastic work mate. The details of the chamfering and cold blueing the indent take it to the next level. Great job. 🇦🇺👍
The shine is breathtaking!
Hey Koss, as you may know I’m also into knife making, I was thinking on buying a Grizzly H6070 belt grinder, but could you tell me if that one is good or recommend me a great belt grinder?
well, i know i'm not who you're asking, but i know for a fact that jonathan katz moses uses a grizzly bandsaw, not that exact same model though. And he seems to have good knowledge and judgement when it comes to tools. so, my advice, if you can afford it then it probably is a good investment. (video for reference: ruclips.net/video/zslrqAY0WLk/видео.html )
Nice project, I found a bucket of hammer heads and hatchet, ax heads. A buddy told me the hammers were black smith's hammers. I took my time and brought them all back to better then new with oak handles and sold the "set" for two grand. His offer not my number. Not bad for a bucket of rust. I'm still working with the others.
Very nice sir. I respect and appreciate your work
📯
This is beautiful the truest form of art
Gorgeous tool. Compact, sharp as hell. This would also be a perfect thrower.
Que coisa linda que ficou ..... ótimo trabalho!!!!!!
Thanks, that was relaxing me a bit
Simple, clean, elegant in one word beautiful! Bravo
It is very cute🤗 and nice 👌
Love the design!
Very nice design
Koss, I really like your aesthetic choices you make on all of your knife and bladed tools. Keep up the great work.
Very nicely done!
Very nice, lovelly details. 👍
Little Beauty after all !!
The head work was excellent, but the handle was a disappointment. It was not even in the same class as your skill set. Thanks for the video!👍
Exactly, and I've never seen anyone put wedges in like that
Allen Wilson not only weird things is wedge. I think handle should be curved
The hang job was terrible, I'm afraid. That little shoulder creates a weak point, plus it looks pretty rough. With as much time and detail went into that head, it was ruined with that handle job.
I think gluing the wedges with no oil could have been a better option. The handle was much more for a hammer than for an axe, however I liked it anyway because for such a small axe it kind of fits. Great video thank you!
@@hernancoronel not at all. id say a small hatched need a proper handle even more than a big axe.
Están asombrosos los filos que consigue este sujeto
Ya tienes un nuevo subscriptor Koss👍
Si alguin que habla español :)
Absolutely stunning!
Отличная работа!
Very nice!! Made me subscribe to your channel. Thanks for sharing.
Great job, but imo the handle was too short
That's what she said
@@flipvdfluitketel867 😅👍
I agree unless it was going to be strictly a throwing hatchet.
Também achei!
@Juelz Kristian bot
End result was amazing
marveling at the blade
Loved it. 👍
All the comments about the handle, I really like it:) it’s a stubby 😍 could very handy in some situations and very portable
One of the best use seen
Axe restoration videos are my secret pleasure 😂
Great job.

that axe head is a work of art
I absolutely loved this. My respects.
Spectacular job 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
As always, excellent job! You always bring your A-game to a project.
Good enough for chopping down a Bonsai tree ! :D
Love the name 👍
Excellent job. I really like the handle design! Nice proportions, and something different. Great looking axe.
Effing simple and beautiful.
That was amazing. I really love aaall your work!! I want to do what you do when I'm older but my father won't let me 😅 saying that's not a respectable profession for a girl. Watching your videos gives me hope tho

Beauty!
Damn dude, you're a magician!
Beautiful
Good job!
Work of art!
Nice restoration!
Nicely done, have you ever done katars? I think they are underrated because they are mainly used with an indonesian martial arts style.
As usual, really nice work.
Олтин куллар ва олтин калла.
The video is so satisfying. Tnx
Nice
I always appreciate the 10k strokes you put into these projects by hand and sometimes smell the metal dust while you are working. ;-P Beautiful finished piece...love the shape of it. Me too on the Chamfers on the head...perfect symmetry! New Vice? Thanks Koss, well done!
Cool stuff
Great restoration
Nice👍❤️
Really beautiful work, dude! Well done! 😃
Stay safe there! 🖖😊
BOMBASTIC vid 👊💛
im not the only who thinks this looks like the axe from animal crossing right? i loved the video, i'd be more than happy to learn how to work like yours one day! hopefully it can be available in my upcoming options while im still in highschool
you are genius
After recovery, you can use it to cut paper enough to let me know how well you recovered !
I am a fan of the handle. It always bothers me when folks put on a handle that is so ill proportioned as to make the tool useless or even just ugly. You did a great job. I know that doesn’t mean much coming from a random person commenting on your video, but I appreciate a good handle. Haha
Great job on 69th comment though
Tremendous job on the metal...the handle is so short though.
Sa
I was going to say the same thing. Still nice work though.
Great work! Question, did you make the jig that you used to sand the cutting edge of the hatchet?
Hi friend. A new video has appeared on my channel about how I made a sword from Skyrim with my own hands.
Adam işi biliyor abi..
Если можно было бы пять лайков поставить-поставил бы!) Круть!!!
Nicely done sir! One of the best i have seen. Giving a tool a new lease of life is the right thing to do. You have made it look a really attractive axe. And most of all it looks a cutter. Make a fantastic carving axe. I would buy it if i saw it for sale. Well done!
Eline emeğine sağlık usta çok güzel oldu
Ahh..Koss...or some say Kosm...grant..us..eyes
Great Success
Ficou maravilhosamente lindo👏👏👏👏👏
Nice and cool
Very nice. When I showed my ax that I had restored to a coworker he asked why and said nobody does that. Boom. I’ll show him this video
I would prefer a longer handle with a little more shape to it. I am not sure your wedges will hold up.
That is awesome
You are actually good in making beautiful weapons, i have one suggestion for you, make a weapon which name is ' trishul ' as per hindu mythology, its awesome, i want to see you making trishul, please friend 😄
Good throwing axe.
I hope your video for the long time
Ah yes you can in fact speak intellectual and extremely fluent English.
can this axe keep an edge? doesnt the edge need to be hardened?
WOW!👍
Buen trabajo 👍
What is the tool you are using for the fine sanding by hand?
Красивая работа
Super pozdrawiam 👍
Excelente!
Cool
First I thought about a longer handle, cause Polish highlanders have traditional ornamented lightweigth canelike axes, used as walking sticks, climbing pickaxes and personal weapon. Anyway great job.
