Everybody did great but Laura absolutely killed it; hers was so good it couldn’t have been written better ahead of time. It was funny, accurate, and really perfectly performed. I was so impressed!

Renters’ Insurance paid for the cleaning of all of my clothes when my apartment’s roof caught on fire, plus a decent hotel that would take my cat, and I stayed there for free for nearly several weeks while a professional cleaning crew helped me pack my stuff since my kitchen had half of the roof missing.
And I only pay $20/month for renter's insurance; that wouldn't buy me very much drugs.
Wow what state are you in? That sounds amazing. I’m also curious, how much was your rent, by comparison?
For contrast, I’m in TN and my renters insurance was $11 a month, rent was 1200, and they only cover the landlord’s losses. We were advised to get a separate policy if we wanted something to cover our own losses but were required to give them indemnity

In our state, the landlord has to pay for accommodations if the unit is uninhabitable, but the other stuff is definitely nice.

Laura ran away with that. Michaela did well with a challenging topic, but there was a distinct tinge of condescension towards renters; maybe she really does own a castle.
