i love the idea that if you do 6 all nighters you just die lmao
BAHAHA
The most accurate depiction of college
Wished I'd seen this before encountering my first Strixhaven exam, so many more mechanics I could have used.
Sometimes cheating does pay off lol
He just summarizes what is exactly described in the book
I love this! I run a campaign with the PCs at an adventuring academy and I was going over the different ways they can have their mid term exam
Exciting! Make sure to stop by and let us know what you decided to do. We love the varied creativity of each GM/DM
@@theadventuresinsilvernell5594 it went so well! Each class they got to either study (+1 bonus), pull an all nighter (+3 bonus but exhaustion on all other rolls), they could be well rested (roll with advantage), or they could choose to study together (a roll to gain advantage), or they could cheat and get an auto pass. Each class had a written exam and practical exam, and they were ranked based on individual performance and team performance. It was a great session with lots of rolling and using spells and abilities to maximum effort
A very helpful overview, I appreciate it.
We're glad to hear you found it helpful! Thank you for commenting, please subscribe for more Strixhaven content soon to come!
I'm glad I could help :) Thank you for visiting my channel
Very well done, considering how late to the party I am there's probably not going to be one like this for extracurriculars, jobs, or relationships.
Extremely helpful
Hey! I'm glad you learned from it, thanks for stopping by
Modifying the cheating rules so the student dice gained applies to deception and sleight of hand and not to the ability being tested.
just feels more....morally/logically consistent
That does make a lot of sense! Modify your game to your liking and make it your own
Why would anyone want to run an adventure about or setting about going to school. (This is just a joke… really)
