Mage Tower - Strixhaven A Curriculum of Chaos - Игры
This is the sort of thing people want at higher levels of play from about 6 onward. Very cool. Thanks Eric.
Thanks, Fred!
I awaited this video and now it has arrived. Christmas came early
❤️❤️❤️
Firstly, subscribed! Secondly, I have been most excited for the Mage Tower rules from this book. I can't wait to run Strixhaven.
Awesome! Thank you!
It looks like a lot of fun!!
Agreed!
This sounds really fun. I think my players would enjoy this.
I hope so!
Quick question about Strixhaven (the book I mean, not the location.)
Is it a fun book you can read for getting ideas like Tome of Foes or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything or is it more of an instruction book for a campaign?
I ask this because magic school have long interested me and I came close to buying this yesterday at Barnes&Noble. But due to the price it had and the fact I knew so little about the book, I decided against it...for now
"Modern" D&D is all eras of time multiverses and worlds - it's the choice of the dm as to what time frame they want to run or homebrew. I homebrew a world where advance tech is the back drop to the lands and the group have just started to figure out as to how advance tech is coming from.
Oh cool!
I might harvest and tweak the rules a bit to create my own sport andake a whole campaign about a new team in the pro leagues gunning for the championship.
Totally
Sounds like a fun thing to do for like a Friday night fight night or something like that lol a off game from the session
Perfect
@@FryMinis any ideas on how to explain to the players that this isn’t Harry Potter?
not doing damage is fun as a utility caster especially in this game
Good opportunity
As someone from a D&D group that doesn’t run adventure modules I wish they has more lore and generally setting info for the place.
...What? There's plenty of setting info in all the adventure modules.
I prefer the Ravnica/Theros 3:1 resource:adventure style over this inverse.
*FOX NFL theme intensifies*

As a Magic fan, D&D dragonborn wearing Silverquill uniform on the artwork is weirding me out. There were so many humanoids in the Magic set, but draconic ones weren't.
All the things in the Strixhaven book is weirdly adapted to D&D multiverse, replacing mana with the weave for snarls and such, while keeping the Founder Dragons who do not belong in any of the Chromatic/Gem/Metallic bloodlines. I don't necessarily dislike it per se, but it feels like muddying up borders between two distinct multiverses.
Agreed
Are you from Texas?
From? No, but we've lived in Texas for a few years now.
Is this quiditch?
No, it's quidditch
@@FryMinis AH. Ok. Because I thought it was quidditch. Or possibly quidditch-esque.
