I’ve gotten PRP microneedling several times and my skin is completely healed on 3rd day. Not sure why your skin ended up like that. One of the comments mentioned doctor using same needle on multiple patients, although that is gross but possible. Or perhaps your skin is too sensitive and not reacting well to the you used right after. I know all needles used are opened in front of me. And I was told not to put anything else on my face that night. I go for my sessions on my way home from work, so I just head straight home after. I really love how PRP microneedling has improved greatly my skin. I get complemented on a lot.
I’ve done micro needling 4 times now and the first 3 times were great and the clinic gave me a gel like moisturizer for the aftercare. This time, no numbing cream during treatment, no after care moisturizer (only advised to use hyaluronic acid serum ) I stayed out of the sun most of the day except early like 8am and later in the day around 6pm to walk my dog, with SPF50 sunscreen and a large brim hat. I wasn’t overly red after the treatment, but the redness has not subsided completely and today is 4 days post treatment. There’s some flaking..I am worried she damaged my skin. I checked the business license and the aesthetician’s license prior to the treatment..she’s used 1mm on one side of my face and then switched to .25mm for the other because 1mm was too painful without numbing cream. Will probably not do the other sessions. I guess if I ever do that again it’ll be at a dermatologist clinic, not at an esthetician’s.
Microneddling is good for acne scars and terrible for acne. The person who did that shouldn't have gon over your acne, that can easily create infections
I really appreciate the info. I’ve been wanting to get this done especially with prp because I’ve read great things regarding collagen induction. Take care
I have had three deep treatments of microneeding and as I took some strong pain medication I had deep treatments and it was combined with radiotherapy. It was painless and I had very little recovery. The first day I looked liked I had a sunburn. No real pain really. After microneeding use hyleronic acid only. Every 2 hrs then every 4 for several days. I used Peter Roth hypersonic acid. This is tge only thing great results. I look 15 years younger. I am very happy with the results
For me, i do it myself at home 0.5 needle or 0.25 stay away from my under eyes, but its gentle enough to be effective but not deep enough for any long germ damage
Rest your face at least 1 week. First time i do this treatment it take 5 days to redness in my face to healing. More often you do this treatment the time it take to recovery will more faster than the first time. It need 5 time of this treatment to get time of recovery more faster for me. Yea for the first time i fell pain in all my face, but i love the result from this treatment. You very strong woman to put the make up on 4 day after this prp, love your result. Keep it up❤❤😊
You have to let treatments like this heal before wearing any makeup. Listen to what they tell you about after care or you won’t get the results but you do have to keep going back. It’s not one and done.
The first month is the worst. You'll see after that your skin will glow.. I've had this done and my skin loved me for it.. I still get compliments even a year later.. I wanna have another treatment.. But money is hard to come by.
I have 4 sessions left and honestly I don't want to do it again too but I paid the whole treatment plus I'm so insecure with this one deep scar right down my lower cheek. Some people say I'm overreacting it's not really noticeable but to me it's a big deal I don't like going out without any mask on. I added CO2 to my treatment so it's a torment for me whenever I visit the clinic because I have to go through 2 treatments in one sitting and I don't leave the clinic without crying 😢

I can give you a review of how it went for me. I had PRP in a trusted skin clinic; they always open a new needle in front of a client. It not only rejuvenates the skin but is also very helpful with acne scars. I had a terrible scars, and after prp with a method called subsission (they like insert a needle under the skin and kind of lift it up a bit, but it’s done spot by spot, scar by scar, so there will be plenty of tiny bruises, depends on the skin). After 3 treatments, my skin has improved; now I almost have no scars; gotta look very closely to notice the spots. I'm pleased with the results. PRP is also a savior for hair; hair will start growing like crazy. ❤ hopes this helps.
And also, after PRP, it's better not to put any skin treatment, creams, or serums on the skin for 3-4 days because it's healing and building new collagen. I usually just use a generous amount of sunblock/sunscreen.
@anya93918 I don’t have nasolabial folds, dear, so I cannot say. But I had tiny wrinkles between my eyebrows and forehead that eventually were gone after PRP. Among all treatments, I choose PRP because it's from our blood, and for people like me, who have allergies to anything, this is a lifesaver.
Girl what! Were you not given after care instructions? No make up for at least 5 days is what we say in our office. No products outside of what we send you home with, or recommend from a new, sterile package. And Clean pillowcase.
At least 3 days nothing Just water and they'll give you repair cream After 8-24h you can wash your face with water only and apply repair cream 3-5 days later gentle cleanser suggested by your consultant And moisturizer obviously
You should only be putting moisturizer with vitamin C. The less you play with your face the better the results. But if you have no spots / scars or wrinkles you dont need this treatment.
Of course your face burned when you applied the wrong products so soon after the treatment. Microneedling is injuring the skin to promote healing smoother. It’s extremely important to follow after care instructions from your provider and avoid doing damage to yourself. This video is a great example of what NOT to do when you get a skin treatment.

I’ve been interested in getting this done. Thanks for your honesty
Don’t listen to this as a review unless you also intend to disregard aftercare completely lol
Use warm water or slightly cold water to wash your face and apply aloe if you have oily face or Vaseline if you have dry face
This video was so honest….I appreciate that 😊🙏
I prefer Hollywood carbon laser facial and a gentle peel after.works very well for me.
Also never put any prp near the acne since it will grow the acne more.
From the day before treatment to day 5, take vitamin C & E (natural only)
For me, i do it myself at home 0.5 needle or 0.25 stay away from my under eyes, but its gentle enough to be effective but not deep enough for any long germ damage
It looks like my skin is injured.
Because. It. Is.
Never. NEVER using make up for a week after microneedlimg.
Keep it up❤❤😊
skin takes at least 6 months to fully heal!
Put this on burnt like hell..😂😂😂 that was funny. Totally something I would do!
Thank you for sharing!
I've done something similar and it was worth it!
Your lucky you’re skin looks better in day 3 i turned to be brown i need fast healing 😢😢 I have an important appointment in day 7
Your skin is literally flawless tf
You should focus on sunscreen and hydrating only after microneedling for at least one week.
Very random i know, but you r eye are GORGEOUS GIRL😻😻
I got a clear and brilliant treatment there are always risks
You might end up with wonderful results ⭐️ or permanent damage 😢
I have 4 sessions left and honestly I don't want to do it again too but I paid the whole treatment plus I'm so insecure with this one deep scar right down my lower cheek. Some people say I'm overreacting it's not really noticeable but to me it's a big deal I don't like going out without any mask on. I added CO2 to my treatment so it's a torment for me whenever I visit the clinic because I have to go through 2 treatments in one sitting and I don't leave the clinic without crying 😢
Hey, is there any difference in your scars? I am currently under isotretinoin and thinking to do this after 2 months....i spoke to a dermat and she said its normal to do this and there won't be any side effects.
@@ipshita_malik2729 yes my skin has improved tremendously but my main concern is this one atrophic scar that was left by previous chicken pox. You should do it too but I highly suggest that you please stop using any peeling chemicals 2 weeks prior to your treatment this will make the treatment more tolerable.
@@ipshita_malik2729 yes it's effective. My pores aren't so visible like before and the scar I'm targeting to remove appears to be now less darker than before I had these treatments. They're really painful though I have to tell you that so I would recommend you to tell your doctor to apply as much topical anesthesia as possible if you have low pain tolerance.
@@SheisMadSad can i get your Instagram id...i even wanted to talk about something else which is concerning me please😣i am getting suicidal thoughts bcz of my acne i just wish if someone could guide me and talk to me about it. Please give me your id.
Would you give another update on whether it really did something good?
@@2cuteasiangirl Oh. Glad you got such good results. Does it help with nasolabial folds and stuff like that?
@anya93918 I don’t have nasolabial folds, dear, so I cannot say. But I had tiny wrinkles between my eyebrows and forehead that eventually were gone after PRP. Among all treatments, I choose PRP because it's from our blood, and for people like me, who have allergies to anything, this is a lifesaver.
@@2cuteasiangirl Thanks for responding ☺️
Girl what! Were you not given after care instructions? No make up for at least 5 days is what we say in our office. No products outside of what we send you home with, or recommend from a new, sterile package. And Clean pillowcase.
For how many days plz ?
@@meriemmd205 5 days to allow the skin to fully seal.
At least 3 days nothing
Just water and they'll give you repair cream
After 8-24h you can wash your face with water only and apply repair cream 3-5 days later gentle cleanser suggested by your consultant
And moisturizer obviously
You are very honest, thank you
I don't know what i expected but I just didnt expect your voice to be like that. 😂
I feel like the whole idea about microneedle is that they damage your skin barrier and th3 skin regenerates and ppl feel like they're glowing lol
My friend had it done she paid £4.50 pounds for 3 treatment lady said . WASTE of money her face looked the same 👎
Okay I don't blame you. You're beautiful. Don't go back.
Why would people do this to their face? 😢
Can't we be more nicer to our skin?
P.S. I really appreciate her for sharing her experience and maybe it didnt suit her...bur it hurts to see her face wounded... she's really pretty without any treatment ❤
Actually, microneedling or even laser is really beneficial for the face especially for scar, texture, pigmentation, and sun damage repairs. However, she put it immediately on other products and didn't properly protect it from the sun
@@mirageangelica5495 I see...
I too have done laser treatments for hair removal, but didn't have any side effects.
Off late I've been watching a lot of influencers do microneedling..and just watching their face makes me feel pain lol
But I get your point...it requires extra care 🙂
The voice is too funny 😂
Why would U put products on a wound?
You have really good skin, I honestly don't understand why you went for it in the first place.🤔
I avoid putting anything on my face wash with water and apply sunscreen the other day but never go in the sun for a few days
Did mine yesterday and my esthetician told me to not to put any products except hyaluronic acid . No make up , sunscreen, hot tub,
Well I don’t know how am I going to work today now cuz my face looks like a lobster lol 😂
You r young and your skin is already amazing. Why do u have to do all these procedures so early.
Thank you for being honest
OMG😮.
I thought you got bit by a zombie. Thank you for advising on the recovery. You took one for the team❤. We refused.
Girl! You didn’t even try to let it heal🙁 why use makeup? I think your skin is so beautiful it would have done better when you leave it alone!!!
And in my experience I never leave body related treatments halfway because it causes adverse effects!! Takes lot of patience but it’s always worth!! You can do it!!!
What is the purpose of micro needling again??
In theory it is to strengthen the fibroblasts which will produce more collagen. More simply you injure the skin to activate cell renewal.
Hii girl i done microneedling it work very well and also tighten my skin😍😍😍😍
NO MAKEUP on open wounds. I know it makes people self conscious but micro needling is like having open wounds all over your face.
You have great skin, no visible pores, you appear to be quite young, and you have no visible wrinkles. Just keep doing what you've been doing and avoid this treatment!
Oh god😮.. I'd have cried to death.. After that day one treatment.. 😟😰😭😭😭
PRP micro needling such an honest review .. i got acne after PRP .. 😅😂
I don't know better but I feel like one shouldn't be putting many products and let alone make up THAT fast & go in the sun for too long during the recovery of this kind of treatment... but I guess some people wanted to see instant results & cannot let themselves not looking presentable/pretty for even a day, so.
Are the results permanent? Or do you have to keep getting it done?
You need to keep doing it from time to time, a specialist will tell you when because everyone is different and genetics play a hige role in aging.
It looks scary.. Thanks for sharing.. So that others won't go for it.. 😇
Omg I wish I saw this before I booked 3 sessionnnnsss
I did PRP don’t have any red marks at all !
I understand the 'I don't wanna do it' 😅😂😂😂
it’s not the vampire facial that did that to your skin but the products you put in. You were not supposed to apply active ingredients 2 weeks after the treatment. You could only use hydrating products but only after 72 hours after the treatment. 🤦🏻♀️
Girl you fucking beautiful
The way its looking is actually pretty normal. I think you needed to manage your expectations and educate yourself about the aftercare
Don’t do it again, idk what it’s supposed to help with but it seems to be doing more harm than good
She got it done ages ago and these reactions are normal
You really shouldnt put make up and other active ingredients until the revovery process over, usually i just leave it as it is and just using anti iritation cream and moisturizer (just when the peeling process alredy reduced) and its done wonder for me
Is that your real voice?
The MNRF gave a grid of dots on my face which took more than a year to fade, I have hyper pigmentation though.
Doctor gave me sunscreen and i followed it
Thank you for your honest review
Some people dont know how to care after the teeatment and vlame the process 😅
Please don't do it again.. it breaks ur natural barrier and your skin is not that bad to endure that much pain... plz... but thanks for doing this and giving honest opinion ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
For people with acne prone skin and scars, have already damaged their skin barrier so to regenerate it they need to do micro needling
@@ipshita_malik2729 maybe but isn't it painful?
@@loneshewolf6015 i don't know i myself is dealing with acne and am on isotretinoin capsules and I don't know what to do about it... about my scars. i get suicidal thoughts i want to end up my life. I have stopped eating. Within 5 days i reduced 4 kg..
I do PRP also for my acne scar but nice only in first session after that like came back from first time …I don’t know maybe need more time or not but I stop doing PRP now I do chemical peeling ( my review only good for glowing not for acne scar )
Off topic but damn her acne disappeared in a couple days! Mine stay and scar my face for weeeeks
Idk if you’ve already done the other 2 sessions but you’re not even supposed to put make up on until day 4 or 5. Your esthetician didn’t do a good job of explaining on how healing process is supposed to go… Like on days 1-3 you should be cold washing and only using antibacterial products like neosporin or alternatives. Using active ingredients opens your risk to poor reactions and infections which is probably why you got acne. But I hope someone else is reading this and finds this helpful :/
I done dermapen 5 days ago and now my skin is full of acne and inflammation don’t know what to do 🥺
I’ve done PRP with micro needling and my skin wasn’t bruised or red like that whatsoever. You don’t react well to it it seems
