Thx for the info. Do ever put the board down into the dirt a couple inches?

my problem is my Zoysia would send runners underneath this if not buried deep enough.

This has been a huge help! We have this trim all around our home we bought two years ago.... But they didn't install the stakes, so the trim is falling over and all messed up. Now I know how to fix it!!! ❤️ ❤️

I bought this to use for landscape edging and wanted to mostly bury it to have that crisp line between the flower bed and grass. I want to stab myself in the face! My soil is so rocky, (I had to buy a pick axe and short one too there is so much rock}, the trench has turned into what looks like mud ruts from a 4x4! I used black, so it was not in the DFW area and I ordered it. It came rolled; laid it out in the sun and the end still has a slight cup. If the cupped end isn't out in a day or two, I'll just cut it off. What a PITA to install. 42 feet worth. Each stake hits a rock so I have to dig it out. THIS IS NOT FOR ROCKY SOIL AT ALL! Great edging though and it will look terrific once done, but if I could do it over, NOPE. Too much effort; and too much thought has had to go into this. It should still be here after I'm gone though. HA.

We bought bender board by epic plastics and it has a clip that leaves 2 inch height above the stake. Doesn’t seem right thinking I should return. Your thoughts ?

That plastic stake will only go into soft ground, so what if your ground is solid ?

Use an orange 4lb Mallet from harbor freight… had the same problem at first.

Thanks for the vid! Is there a way to deal with uneven ground? I assume the board doesn't bend in in the 4" direction. I have a fairly straight run I need to do but the ground rolls up and down a bit, and too much to just run a string and dig a consistent slope for the board. I could cut smaller lengths but that would look choppy.

Good question Ron. You are correct, Lumber Edge does not bend in that direction, to the degree that it sounds like you need. For applications with abrupt changes in elevation we recommend these edging products below. Thanks for watching.

I'm thinking about using something like this to line a gravel pathway through my garden. Do you think this would be too tall and maybe be a tripping hazard or could I maybe just stick it down lower into the ground to have it only come up as high as the gravel does?
    👍🙂Thanks for the video! :-)

Hi. This would be a great product for that application. And yes, you'd want to counter sink the edging below ground a bit. This will help with any trip concerns, and also better prevent grass from growing under the barrier.

What are the stakes you use for this poly board

Hi @luislira9078. The stakes come with the Lumber Edge kits. But if more are needed, they can be purchased here, depending on which color you need: www.amleo.com/leonard-lumber-edge-extra-stakes/p/VP-A1212B. They are sold in bundles of four. Thanks for watching our video!

I’m no expert (I actually have landscape contractors working in my yard right now but I did install my own No-Dig edging) but I would think if it takes an electric saw to cut through it that weed eater line wouldn’t phase it. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for this video. Normally what's the distance between each bender board stakes? Also normally what's the average lifespan of bender board? Thanks
