Hello!! UnfortunTely I took buses and cabs everywher in Oaxaca city.
In Puerto Escondido we rented a nice brand new scooter (with the small-ish tires) for around $250/month.
I wouldn’t recommend renting a scooter in PE unless you have a lot of experience because highways connect a lot of the places you want to be.

So have you checked the monthly rates there? I'm in Colombia and had been hopping around for 2-3 week stays and then was stunned to find that monthly rates drop as much as 40%-60%!!!! So is it a similar case there in Oaxaca?
Good question. We stayed for a month so we hat I listed was the monthly rate for this place. Yes. Monthly at our other place dropped the rate 40 or 50% !!!!
@@OneWayTicketwithScottAnthony So you mean at $50 a night you paid $1500 for the month? I'm hoping to find something for under $900 a month when I come in July for a few months, here's hoping I manage it ;?)

I’ve talked to my friends in San Blas cusco and they all do not seem worried. They say it is subsiding. But of course it’s a very serious situation.
@@OneWayTicketwithScottAnthony I talk to people in Lima and some don't even know the president was arrested. It's a crazy difference there with politics compared to America where many pay zero attention. But the protests were much worse in Cusco and more rural areas, Miraflores know they won't be touched.
