D2 was DEFINITELY the best. When I watched it as a kid in theaters, I almost lost my mind when they were roller blading around town to get the team back together. Also, I cannot believe that I didn’t not recognize until just now, that Benny Rodriguez and Luis Mendoza were the same actor. How did I miss that!?!?
you probably dont care but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last few weeks =)
I could agree with that knowledge there too but off the first one is always be a classic to mine heart as well like D2 was too finding that emotional spark do it too. As like the third it’s more about redemption than the other two do finding out what they’re where that college could qack it’s own way off them. And that I would actually loved to see if they could make a fourth one to show what they’re made off defeated The seniors class what would actually happens next so. Who thinks so too?
Also an interesting tidbit is that Scott Whyte, who played Gunnar in D2 and Scooter in D3, also auditioned to play Portman, and that role obviously went to Aaron Lohr...but the casting people liked him, so they offered him the role of Gunnar.
I love all 3 movies and I'd have to say my favorite of the new recruits that join the flock in D2 is Luis Medoza only because he is super iconic and memorable as Benny the Jet Rodriguez from the Sandlot and he's actually my favorite of all the kids in that movie. Despite that he trespassed by going over the fence on James Earl Jones property to retrieve there baseball he was a hero. Jones even said that they could've just went over to knock on his door and asked him to get the ball out of his yard and give it to them but Squints made up a bs story and made Smalls believe that he was the one to blame for the fact that one kid already got eaten by the beast aka Hercules.
3:58 - Brandon Adams was also in the Sandlot & two of the Mighty Ducks movies. He played Kenny DeNunez in the Sandlot & Jesse Hall in the first two Mighty Ducks.
He sure did and he didn't come back to reprise he role as Jesse Hall in D3 due to the fact that he moved far enough away to where he couldn't be on the team anymore after the events of D2 from what I understand. Russ Tyler played by Kenan Thompson and Jesse Hall also weren't getting along well which also happened after the events of D2. That's a shame because Jesse hated Banks more than anyone else on the team in the first movie when he switched from being a Hawk to a Duck and then all of team including Jesse eventually warmed up to him.
Mike Vitar was also in the Sandlot as the proprietor of the team Benny "the Jet" Rodriguez and he played Luis Medoza in D2 and D3. I used to think Ty O Neil who played round up cowboy Dwayne Robertson in D2 and D3 was also in the Sandlot playing Bertrum but I was wrong it was a different actor.
You had me at the mighty ducks! RUclipsr of the month sent me this way! Mighty ducks changed my life and it's the reason I'm a hockey fan to this day! Go Blues!
I remember watching the movies for the 1st time about a couple of months ago, I loved the movies that instant. Even though I didn't grow up in the 90s, I'm still a fan of the movies. I would honestly say my favorite movie is D3. Adam ofc is my favorite Duck🤩😂
I was born in 1990 so D2 was the first movie of my memory since I was only 2 when the first one came out. I watched D2 over and over on VHS every time I went to my grandparents as a kid in the 90s I was obsessed. Then I eventually went back to D1 and eventually saw D3. This is one of my most guilty pleasure trilogies as an adult all these years later. D2 will always hold a special place and be my favorite.
Great question. D2 was the polished version, but I think I like the OG. Not even sure I’ve seen #3. Does it stay on par with the awesomeness or should I just let it slide?
The first one is always be a classic to mine heart as well like D2 was too finding that emotional spark do it too. As like the third it’s more about redemption than the other two do finding out what they’re where that college could qack it’s own way off them. And that I would actually loved to see if they could make a fourth one to show what they’re made off defeated The seniors class what would actually happens next so. Who thinks so too?
D2 and D3 are great it’s hard for me to choose between the two. That opening scene in D3 where Goldberg is all over the place is a big fav of mine! Great video
I came back here to remember how bad your first vids were… 😂 those hand motions were out of control. But dang, started at the bottom and nearly 200k 🤯 hard work no doubt. Congrats bud
So weird that as a kid D2 was one of my favorite movies, and I didn't even get to watch the first movie until I was in my 20's. It's almost like it didn't even matter that I didn't see the first one.
I can’t choose between D2 and D3. D2 was really fun to watch and probably had the best story. But in D3, I looveed seing the team bonded like a family and working together pulling pranks on their seniors and all that. It was hillarious! Wish they would’ve made a reunion movie huhu
nas I hated part 3 as a kid. But now as an adult watching part 3 at a different lens it's the best to me because it has a lot to do with adulthood and growth.
Keith De Rosas but you’re totally right tho! As a kid, D3 was kinda hard to digest cause all we wanted to see was them having fun. I was like, they went from international championship to prep school? But at least it was still funny. So I forgive Disney. But growing up, I totally felt bad for charlie, and understood why he was angry all the time. But no matter what D2 and D3 were always the best :D Good ol’ 90s...
I sure hope things turned out okay for that DiCaprio fellow. XD I should revisit these movies. I don't like sports, but a lot of those 90s kids/family sports flicks are entertaining.
oh my God! I loved all of them. I mean it's kinda impossible for me to just choose one. The three movies were awesome (always will be!) and complemented each other, just like how each cast/character complemented one another. I just love The Mighty Ducks.
i don't think charlie could of been played by anyone else but joshua jackson tbh.. d2 was my favorite i didn't care to much for d3.. i did love the original though
Honestly, though. And Vincent wasn't the original Adam Banks, either! He was asked to audition after the original actor got kicked off because he was bullying the other kids and I honestly can't see anyone else besides Vincent Larusso in the role of Adam Banks!
Another note four of the ducks played in multiple movies together Goldberg and Russell Tyler in heavyweights Benny the jet and Jesse hall in the sandlot....just FYI
Elden Ryan Ratliffe was in the Hunger Games? Looks like Fulton's reuniting with Charlie after all, just Charlie "MoistCr1tikal" White, not Charlie Conway. Also, to answer your question, D2 was my favorite as a kid because of the knuckle puck, but as an adult, it's shifted to D3 for two reasons. The first is that the Ducks had to realize that the tricks that worked for them before were not going to work again. It's kind of like if Daniel LaRusso tried to crane kick Johnny Lawrence again in Cobra Kai. Not only would it not work, but it would leave Daniel quite humiliated, just like the Varsity Warriors did to the Ducks in the Morning Showdown. The second is that as an adult, especially during the pandemic, Coach Orion's speech hits a little bit closer to home.
D3 was inspiring it really showed the progression of care and maturity each character shows. The comedy in it was funny but it was very nice to see the development of each character
Another tidbit...if you are a walking dead fan...the bully redhead enforcer (Cole) from the varsity team in the 3rd movie is Abraham from the walking dead.
Another tid bit.....one of the refs from the first movie played a ref in the second one....then he came back and played the coach of the varsity team in the third. Also, the father of the kid whose son was the best player on the varsity team, the dude with the white beard? He got nabbed for sexual miss conduct at a prep school just like eden hall.
Dude I wasn't really going to watch this but, super happy I did🤩 I didn't know Emilio Estevez was older than Charlie Sheen 😅 I love how you say who was going to be cast and how if they didn't get the role that didn't stop them from better future roles or better careers. I like all three Mighty ducks movie's even though I never been ice skating D2 Knuckle puck😎
Yeah I don't think Portman was in it either, but I'm not sure. I think a few actors from the 2nd movie weren't in the third, and it's a big reason why I think I didn't like it as much as the second. Edit: Well Google is saying he was in it, but I could have swore he wasn't. Maybe I should watch it again, lol.
@@zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz portman is def in the movie towards the end he comes into the locker room with his contract 📕 🤣 its jesse who went missin in part 3 they kept kenan tho "its Knuckle puck time " 🥅 🏒🦆
@@TRXP_M3NXCE Yeah I read the plot. Basically Portman doesn't accept the scholarship right away and doesn't actually appear until towards the end of the movie when the Ducks are down midway through the big game. That's probably why I don't remember him being in it.
Yeah, there are conflicting reports on why Jesse, AKA Brandon Adams wasn't in D3...there's one report that said that him and Kenan Thompson didn't get along, and also, another that said that he was initially in the third one, but his role had been significantly reduced, and he didn't want to do it. He was DEFINITELY missed in the third one as he was one of the best players and just an overall interesting character.
I love all 3 but d2 took the cake full throttle because of duck vs Iceland and Gunnar Stahl is iconic character that stood out period I wish they gave him more screen time and the extra was amazing I wish they would have kept them also Emilio was perfect choice so im glad they turned it down and Leo as well josh was the perfect fit her got that curly hair innocent face now he might could have been a better fit for Iceland in stead the cast is perfect hands down
D2 is my fave..this was my first fave Hollywood movie to watch in 1994. I remember, I didn't report to my class just to watch again the movie..im only grade 9 that time.
D2 for sure, but I’ve grown to enjoy them all a lot more now. D3 was my least favorite as a child now as an adult it’s probably my second favorite. It is problematic to the story though. Charlie went from willing to do what’s best for the team to a hot shot when he was always the heart not the best player.
Quack, quack, quack, quack I'm a little hesitant to watch the tv series. I hope it keeps most of the magic that were in all three movies; especially 1 & 2. Obviously it won't have Hans but the show really needs to keep his teachings alive to stay partially successful.

My personal favorite is D3, mainly because I saw it on a regular basis in high school, so I understood what the ducks were going through.
"Greenland is full of ice and Iceland is very nice!"
hahaha
I repeated this quote to my 27 year old girlfriend recently and she had no clue....
“Look at her, she’s an Iceland chick, great coach we got” lol
D2 is my favorite!! I loved how it brought in new kids from different parts of the US IT WAS SO FUN
