thank you, you are the first one to clarify that V1 is not a series of preamps in a pedal format; I even e-mailed and texted Victory amps asking this and no one answered
Great range of pedals. The circuits are very clever and I love the fact that the tone stacks reflect the amps rather than just using a generic pedal eq.
Man I'm just glad you played it thru a non-Victory amp becuz i cannot get passed the doubling-up in other vids (would love to see you play The Jack too 🏴☠️ 👀👀)
I own this pedal and I can say it’s different but also very very good. I also own the v1 jack and v1 sheriff. This is better than both. If I had a complaint, it’s too much low end, but the clarity and chime of this pedal is outstanding.
@@hansvancamp6284 I have been using it as a preamp into some IRs on my iridium (amp sim off) and I have the bass knob basically off or at 8-9 o’clock. I have come to realize the EQ section is quite different from other pedals-might be passive. Not surprisingly, this pedal is outstanding for bass guitar. I have gotten some of the best tones using this pedal!
Love your playing style, would love some lessons on the way you play whatever if it’s blues finger picking rhythm or solo theory, just love your style. Cheers from France (ps : I see your jacket and here too it’s seems like we entered winter in the space of a week)
as an owner of 4 duchess amps, victory does a lot correctly. However, I would not classify this pedal as anything more than just that. A pedal. There are many pedals out there better than this one for tone. I want to see you do a review of the OKKO DIABLO GH. Now that is a pedal!
It's a very good sounding pedal, but I like the sheriff pedal, a bit more and it's more my style. You should also try the copper pedal from Victory. All of these are great... 😊
So is this analog circuit or digital, I ask as if digital I'm sure I could dial in stuff on helix after tinkering for hours. But if analogue then there is an advantage to having this run through. Sounds great.
@buddyblues - I have the V4 amp pedal thing with IRs and tubes, I get what this is and isn’t in that regard, but if you are familiar with the Joyo American Sound - is this like that so it could be the “amp” on a “direct” setup and not have an actual amp or modeler/sim? I have had everything and just really like a simple clean fender tone. That American Sound pedal can’t do anything else but it sounds incredible in place of an amp and it’s only $40USD. This seems like it could be the boutique equivalent. Would this sound right plugged right into an FRFR or FOH?
An amp in a box is a pedal that emulates or sounds like an amp that is put in a pedal box... This isnt that, its a pedal that sounds like or emulates an amp. Its different. 🤣🤣🤣
Green is blue and yellow. Yellow is not green, yellow is not blue, blue is not green. The amp in a box I was referring to their slightly bigger version of this dutchess, that one is indeed an amp in a box. Hope this helps

I noticed that in a couple other videos. How does it sound when turning down that bass control?
@@darielclarkmusic it sounds great with the bass knob down. It’s a loud pedal.
Same complaint. I have this pedal too. I don't like it at all with bass and/or mids above 11 o'clock. It sounds very muffled to me.

4:07 Buddy is inclusive because he never assumes our intelligence. 🤝
What is the amp head that sitting on top of the Super Sonic head? :)
👀👀👀👀👀👀🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
Does that mean there will be a video on it? :)@@BuddyBlues
@JHPRS yes 100%
looks like a friedman twin sis
why are the drums hard panned left and the bass hard panned right?
We’re not here to discuss mixing. Thank your for watching!
