- The Broadway-bound, Canadian-made musical Come From Away tells the story of the events in Gander, NL, from September 11-15, 2001.
To thank the citizens of Gander, many of whom are characters in the musical, the cast and company flew to Gander. Two benefit concerts were presented before the show opens in Toronto and on Broadway.

I just want to say thank you to the people behind Come From Away. I saw their show in Omaha. Nebraska this year has been hit by floods and so many people have been struggling, and those wonderful people not only helped us raise money to support those in need but donated a portion of their revenue as well on our behalf! 🙏
As mayor Claude Elliott says "Kindness is free."
i love seeing the actors and their real life counterparts
Saw it in NYC a week ago tomorrow, and it changed my life.
I keep forgetting that 9/11 happened like 17 years ago and not way way back. Like these people are still alive and that this actually happened. It’s still a shock.
You make us all feel old.
I mean I was born in 2000. There’s a photo of me as a toddler playing with the dog in front of a tv showing the WTC burning.
i was doing whatever three months olds do. i cant believe i was alive when it happened
@@vogelmeister6809 this comment thread just made me feel really really old
Australian company brilliant Saw it 8 times in Melbourne. Sensational brilliant a must see for everyone. Pat
This show is a must see. There is still good in humanity....at least in Canada!
Saw it at the Royal Alexandra on Wednesday. Phenomenal performance and energy! Loved it... even the cheap seats were good!
Glad I watched this. I really enjoyed it. I live away right now.... and at 1;20 in video where it says: Crowds arrive for the concert, dead centre coming through the doors is Mom & Dad. Mom in her red coat and Dad with black wool sweater on right behind her. Well, I knew quite a few other people in the video too... Proud Newfoundlander here... I'll see ya's this summer.
The most beautiful of this all is the celebration of the best of humanity, especially in these times of so much insanity.
This is an amazing musical it made me cry. I hope to see it on broadway in June, so hopefully the coronavirus goes away!
David and Irene: "We are writing a play where our actors have to imitate one of the most difficult accents to imitate."
Petrina: "Imitate? What's that?"
