Your beautiful art is so inspiring-thank you so much for sharing your lovely way of looking at the world! I have been wanting to add some colored pencils and pastels into my work. The colors are all so lusciously tempting, but they really add up. The pan pastels are particularly intriguing. I think I may get one or two to try them out. Could you share the pan pastel color you used for this video? Is there an additional color you find useful? Also, what is the spongy palette knife you used to apply it?
Thank you so much!! I believe the one in this video is Payne's grey extra dark! I think my preference for other colours would be any sort of light peachy pink or a warm yellow green. I don't know any particular shade names off the top of my head for them but I do believe there are several which fit that description! The tool is a pan pastel tool. Honestly though I would say a cheap makeup sponge or applicator would do the exact same job for less money!
Thank you!! Yeah I really enjoy the japanesque from turner, theyre so unique! Ohh I can definitely try to show that sometime! Mostly its just for nice textured markmaking over a plain base like paint!
that Jackson's NEON PINK 🤩
Isn't it fab!! I love using it for sunset/dawn skies!
Thank you so much!
holbein watercolor gouache is my favorite and this makes me want to try their colored pencils
Yeah I'd definitely recommend their pencils! They have such cool different colours!! 💖

Loved seeing what you use and like! I'm partial to the Holbein gouache but the turner ones are very intriguing.
Oh I also own the Unison landscape pastel set! Would love to see how you incorporate those to your work
