Very harsh to call Vinicus a flop. Back-up to our star player, stepped up and scored some important goals and has only improved over the season. Also did not cost us £9m. Fulham flop should be Kevin Mbabu. Came in expecting to challenge Kenny Tete for RB position. Played a few games, had a massive falling out with Marco Silva and then left to rot in the reserves. Now that's a waste of money.
I think perhaps that you overlooked Yves Bissouma at Spurs. An expensive signing, expected to be a midfield workhorse, he's not contributed anything. Richarlison isn't a terrible nominee, but TOT have been really underwhelming all season, except for Kane.
Richarlison has been stuck behind Kane and injured Spurs overall awful this year thanks to no real manager is depressing to watch. Look at what Richarlison manages to do for Brazil as a 9
Phillips wasn't a flop he just didn't really play. It did make me laugh at the end of every win he'd come on in his bib all happy giving all his team mates a handshake just seeming like a mascot
Oh, the comments about Chelsea ! Y'all are just wrong ! The whole team shouldn't be included, no way. Uh-huh !! I went to Stamford Bridge in early August, and saw the boys whip up on Leicester, where the laid waste to the Foxes. It was a massacre. 2-1 as I recall ! Leicester gave 'em a little scare too, toward the end. Maybe it wasn't exactly a massacre, or a whippin' either...but Thiago Silva played well. The fans were singing his name and clapping too !! Then again they were singin' "We're not going down" - last week. But Joao played alright. He put a shot towards the keeper !! Wasn't that long ago he had some time on the ball, at the top of the box, and let loose a shot that had a good chance of wacking the corner flag, but the poor ball boy took the shot upside his head. It was hit real hard though ! Corner flag was worried.
Deniz Undav was playing for a relegation fighting 3rd division team in Germany just 2 years ago, transferred to the 2nd Belgian division the following season. The fact alone that he is playing premier league and scoring is a miracle for him, hence why i would not include him as a flop as no one expected him to play a significant role for brighton yet.
@@nont18411 he clearly was and he has the potential to become more successful and significant for Brighton. I just think that given his career so far, he is already massively overperforming all expectations
@Shaun Bolten I actually thought of Solly March but then I checked again, he already has 7 goals and 7 assists this season 😂 dude is actually improving this season 😆
Leon Bailey one feels a bit harsh and should be Coutinho. Yes Bailey's not met expectations but Coutinho had higher expectations and has contributed less this season
agreed. Bailey has come up with moments of brilliance, sure, not consistently, but a few times. Coutinho has just warmed the bench and should be shipped off
They should rename this ‘I’m a white guy so don’t relate to black players as much, so judge them more harshly list’. Leon Bailey was an utter ridiculous choice when Coutinho exists.
As a Brighton fan, I would go with Robert Sanchez over Deniz Undav. Undav hasn't been great but it is his first season in a new league, and it hasn't helped him that Mitoma has hit the ground running given they both came in at the same time from USG. Sanchez however has lost his place to a 32-year-old Jason Steele, who was a laughing stock before this season thanks to his time at Sunderland. Whilst I think credit has to go to Steele for turning his career around, Sanchez has gone from a promising Spain-international GK, to losing his place in the team and making countless mistakes when he has been given his opportunities. He is also 25 now, so not really considered a young player. He just hasn't built on his development after breaking into the team in 2020
I’d argue Tariq Lamptey. Constantly injured and the amount of injuries he’s had has meant he’s lost the edge he had when first came through under us the rare time he does play
@@Nazzazzaable not a bad shout, but after Tariq’s massive injury over the past few years, he’s never looked the same player. I thought Sanchez would kick on, like realistically, who thought Steele would be our number 1 this season at the start of it? Nobody
Alfie, now it's time for the opposite video - biggest overachievers at every PL club. I would imagine that when it comes to Chelsea (as a Chelsea fan myself), you would struggle to find anyone who you can call an "overachiever", but I am hoping that you would make that video nonetheless.
14:42 Very harsh on Carlos Vinícius. Yes he has 28 appearances, but in 14 (half) of them he played 8 minutes or less. He's scored some impressive goals (e.g. vs. Chelsea & Man City) and when Mitro was suspended, and he finally got a run of 5 starts, he got 3 goals and an assist. He just needed a run as a starter for things to click. He's actually a very good finisher.
@@diazcastro7331 he ruins the team completely He is now a deep targetman bc he can’t be anywhere else, that used to be sons role who now has been disappointing Richy can’t run as fast so through balls and counters don’t work he can’t finish properly he’s a huge flop

Yes he might have a good finish every now and then. Though for everyone he does he fucks up like 10 other good chances. He gives the ball away constantly and his passing and hold up ability is very poor
he´s average player. 60 million pounds a exorbitant value for a player who had shown little evidence of being a great player for a great team. everything at chelsea was disastrous..
Jadon Sancho has to be in there he was unreal in Dortmund easily the best Dortmund player in last 5 years after Haaland after his UTD move he looks unrecognisable he barely did anything in UTD now in the verge being replaced by Garnacho
Man United fan here, so sad to see his downfall given the fact he had some great moments early this season. Now it seems like he can't play well on his own, he always need Luke Shaw to show up and when Luke wasn't available for left back, Jadon was screwed.
@@justhuy7960 even when Shaw played sancho has been a let down. I was so excited when we signed him due to his flair and skills, he has shown none of that since signing for Utd. I think we should move him on and have garnacho, Amad, rashy and Antony as the wing options
@@alexpenkethman196 Why not try him as a playmaking CAM first, we are probably already selling Van de Beek it makes sense to see if he could work somewhere before eating a massive loss on a still young player with multiple years left on his contract.
@@d1want34 But if Sancho continues like this his next contract (whether at Manchester United or elsewhere) will be significantly less lucrative, so there still should be some motivation.
Mikkel Damsgaard hasn't really underwhelmed, in my opinion, due to his really bad injuries the year before, so he has actually been really good on many occasions.
I always see his hair flopping around when he sprints and think to myself that he really seems to make an effort. Yet he never impacts anything, except when he makes mistakes. But I think all of Chelsea is extremely poorly coached, the team is incoherent and dealing with the management must be hell. Being associated with Chelsea in any way this season probably meant pure disfunction and if anything ever worked was just sparks of the very hidden potential within that is held back at every point. Last year I was so excited seeing all the Germans join and somehow the German tax extended beyond the usual players and has had lasting effects on the whole ornmganisation. I am in awe of the entire collapse.
For Utd I would give to Harry Maguire. You are club captain yet you warm the bench I mean Ten Hag even converted Luke Shaw to a centreback because he doesn't trust Maguire ..
Well, if you look at the list of captains since SAF retired, they have all been underwhelming. So not sure why Maguire is getting flaked for warming the bench as current club captain when past captains have also warmed the bench
@@animevsirl there’s warming the bench as club captain, then there’s warming the bench as club captain because your manager would rather play someone out of position than play you, despite being one of only two specialised players that are fit in that position. Maguire’s future isn’t at United, Ten Hag has made that clear. If he has any dignity, for the sake of his career, he should put in a transfer request and go to a mid table club out of the limelight, where he can regain the form that prompted United to buy him in the first place
@@animevsirl Honestly post SAF Bruno (who was barely been captain for half a season) and Pogba (who should never be one of your best players in "leadership") have probably been the two that have been benched the least and who have had the most "success" during their tenures even if it was coincidence more than skill for Pogba.
Maguire is hated because of who he is, not how he plays. Every game he’s played, United have won, except Sevilla, which was far more De Gea’s fault. Tip for you: watch football, not social media.
Best German players in the premier league of all time. (Day 500) I will not give up until the video is made or Alfie himself tells me to stop. Everyone else telling me that will be ignored. If you don't believe my number, just go back to the previous videos. I'm at the bottom most of the time, but I'm there.
Sterling definitely hasn’t been the worst signing. He’s been absolutely useless, but Cucurella has actually been a liability and he was a more expensive transfer. Sterling has done more good in his last 2 games than Cucurella has all season.
There was more hype and expectation for Sterling though. I agree Cucurella has been worse, but he wasn’t expected to be amazing and every thought he was mediocre and a waste before he came, but Sterling was expected to help push Chelsea to finally start scoring.
Sterling is Chelsea's top goal scorer and has the most assists, he's missed alot of games this season also.. How can you say he's been useless when he has the best stats in a poor team..???
That Kalvin signing is still the biggest nonsense to me. They already had Rodri who is one of the best CDMs in the world at the moment but in the end Guardiola decided to use Stones as a secondary CDM (kind of). Really strange, Phillips should have joined to another team instead his career is might be over because of this move.
homegrown numbers matter. i'm convinced that's why they signed him, just like they wouldn't pay 100 mil for Grealish if he wasn't homegrown (even though you can argue ha has been worth it after this season)
Everton signing Maupay has to be one of the worst recruitment decisions I've seen from a club. As a backup to Dominic Calvert Lewin who was inevitably going to have injury problems, we sign a striker who is a completely different type to DCL and was the striker playing for Brighton when they were creating a lot but not scoring. That should've made the signing a no-no immediately
I give you Chris Wood. I don't know if there was a loan fee to boot but that's a 31 year old striker, an obligation to buy for £15m if he makes 3 starts, given 3 starts as soon as possible, injured for the season after 7 appearances but we've now got to pay £15m and about seventy grand a week whether we stay up or not. The clown who negotiated that deal on our behalf should've been drowned at birth. The sporting director has since been sacked so hopefully we don't have that individual in the building anymore.
Spot on. As a neutral, I couldn't believe it when Everton clearly needed a goalscoring striker and signed Maupay who scored occasional spectacular goals and missed sitters. Having sold Richarlison, then to sell Gordon on top of that and not get a replacement - the mind boggles. Sean Dyche has done a fantastic job to keep them up. What price Allardyce now? Dyche has had to play a similar way, concede as few goals as possible and hope to poach an occasional goal and win 1-0, because it was the only way Everton could conceivably get points.
Not a Southhampton fan but I am a supporter of the Croatian national team and its absolutely insane that they signed Orsic but only gave him 6 minutes to prove himself. Don't know what's going on behind the scenes of course but I do know hes pretty good and deserves a legitimate chance. Felt the same about Vlasic at West Ham. How can you deem someone a flop when you don't start him or ever play him in his natural position. I'm biased of course but holy crap why even spend the money/
Vlasic was fucking dreadful, and had to criticise Sam Allardyce to justify the fact he couldn’t hack the league. Don’t let your affection for Croatia blind you from that.
Not sure Damsgaard is a right fit here. Brentford signed him knowing they'd need to physically rebuild him after dealing with an aggressive form of arthritis (and get some muscle on him as well). He was always a long-term project. I'd like to reiterate my suggestion: 7 athletes who didn't make it in football, but found great success in other sports.
Enzo at Chelsea is lucky he isn't English. Can you imagine the abuse and attention he'd get if someone paid £105m for an English midfielder with no goals and assists! (For proof, look at how much people question Rice, and his goal and assist records).
As a Newcastle fan it's fair to pick Gordon tbh, who else is there? I wasn't convinced we needed him though I'll give him a chance, but if we are to try and compete in the prem and play in Europe next season we'll need more astute signings and I suspect he'll get a chance to show if he was a smart move or not.
What about Saint-Maximin, clearly reduced to bench player this year, I like his dribbling skill though but he wasted so much chances that he becomes meme in my country 😂
@@kalmanfortoloczki432 Bit hard on him as his opportunities have been limited with Burn playing in his position and playing well and to be fair he has never let us down when he has played.
I feel bad for Phillips at City. I feel like they bought him so nobody else could have him. Pep must’ve known Rodri was always going to be ahead of Phillips so he was only going to be injury cover
Such is sport these days, signing players you don’t want or need, but you don’t want a rival to have either. All about gaining an edge over your competitors. The people involved, the spectacle, and the competition is all subservient to winning, and thus making money
He was bought to be back up to Rodri after Fernandinho 'retired' back to Brazil. Sadly he hasn't proved to be good enough and I am sure will be sold in the summer. City play more games at a higher standard than pretty much every other club so having a back up for DM makes sense. However, there are standards that players have to meet for Pep, and Phillips hasn't done enough to gain his confidence.
What are you saying? Especially with this new formation change, there were plenty of opportunities for him to get minutes, but he is overweight and Pep has said so multiple times.
city have been historically great at that since they became rich, the list of players they have bought and not played, hence ruining their career is long.
THANK YOU FOR SAYING MESLIER. Everyone has massively overrated him this season, he was alright last year but he was horrendous most of this season, thanks Alfie!
i feel like being fairly inexperienced and having a defense made of cheese for a few seasons now scrambled his brain. he'll probably come good somewhere else but he should move on
It’s Rutter for me. Dude is the record signing and has shown absolutely nothing. I get that he’s young and needs a bit of seasoning, but for someone at that cost there should be flashes. None of which I’ve seen. Thoroughly underwhelming PS the worst part is that all options mentioned are reasonable and I don’t disagree with them being the choice. Not good when we’re debating who is the worst and they’ve all been poor
Anthony Gordon could end up being a fantastic replacement for Jonny Shelvey. Who was unfortunate very serviceable but in the end became too inconsistent to start/rely on.

Richarlison has been bad for us and looks like a huge flop but he barely plays so it never matters, Son and Hugo play week in week out and have been detrimental to anything we attempt to do this season.
Sons scored in pretty much every game since conte left. It helps when you play in your natural, free role. Hugo has been out for 4 games and richarlison has either not been given minutes, been injured or played as a LW….I mean he is Brazils starter upfront but C#nte knew better. He will be a whole different player next season, like most of the team without the oppression of C#notes style….you may have guessed I’ve never been a big fan of C#nte 😂
I forgot over 1000 minutes is barely playing. He’s scored 1 goal in over 1000 minutes, that is atrocious. You lot would be lucky to get 10m back from him. This is almost on the same level as the Harry maguire signing
Meslier for Leeds is crazy. He has won several games for us on his own, and only collapsed when the Marsch death spiral had already commenced. Rutter is the obvious choice, the wrong player, for the wrong money and unable to get a game.
@@johnmitchell2269 Firpo is poor, Cooper is probably going to be fine for us next year, for obvious reasons. But I don't know where you got the idea Bamford can finish! He can hold the ball up and press brilliantly, he has a decent cross. What he can't do is control or score.
Bailey I thought was a little harsh considering Coutinho has done considerably less this season, but I can understand why you put him here. Still think there is plenty of potential there if he is still at Villa next season.
As a Servette fan, I can say that in Geneva Mbabu is finding his form again. He struggled in the first few games back in his boyhood club but he's back to defending well and giving some great crosses. Hopefully his lack of form in Fulham was only a blip and he'll get back to the higher levels soon, although we will miss him

Day 7: 7 Best Loan moves ever. The loan moves that have greatly benefited the team receiving the player for a limited amount of time. While not exactly the best, I always think of Morientes to Monaco as an example. In a way, it's at the opposite end of the spectrum of this video

I'd imagine Peterborough would be in there after ytds effort, preston maybe after so many failed attempts at getting into the prem, what others do you think are the longest sufffering or suffering the most??
Number one which I think Alfie recognises in his speel Anthony Gordon is only included in the list of flops because there have been no flops at Newcastle United and Alfie couldn’t really say this so he half says it. And Alfie my old mate if Saudi’s actions in Yemen (inevitably) get a special mention given your visceral dislike of NUFC why not the UAE (Man City) who are Saudi allies in Yemen. And why not call for regulation rather than picking out one club only whilst ignoring the fact that the PL and the economy generally is swimming in this sort of money. Hell will freeze over first.
Kherer's really come into his own recently, soucek hasn't been great but a lot of the criticism of him is about his goal threat which totally disregards his defensive abilities, scammacca's a bit of a harsh inclusion but to ignore cornet is a pretty massive ommission
How about Paqueta? Bought as a record signing to supposedly improve the team and does some clever stuff but so much of the time with no end product, at least until the last few games. Antonio still seems to be off the boil too. West Ham seem to have relied on Bowen and Rice digging them out of a hole, so problems if they are off-form or injured.

I disagree with Richarlison. He’s been disappointing but he was never signed as a starter, he’s just a very expensive part of the Kane backup curse. Hugo Lloris, the club captain and formerly world class keeper, has cost a team more points than any individual this season and has been outshadowed by Fraser Forster of all people. Conte may be the reason we aren’t in the Champions League, but Lloris is the reason no Europe is a possibility.
In all competitions Undav has started 8 games this season and scored 7 times. The 14 games without a goal or assist mentioned were mostly 15 minutes or less as sub, He has a goal every 115 minutes played in 2022/23, which is actually a better record than Evan Ferguson's. In fact, of players with more than ten EPL appearances this term, only Haaland, Wilson & Kane are ahead of him.
Think it's a bit disingenous to say that "Undav failed to score in his first 14 games" It's true... but those "14 games" totalled 270 minutes... 270 minutes without scoring isn't really anything to note at all.
@@Eibarwoman exactly. if a player played 3 games, full 90 minutes, and didn't score, before starting to really catch fire , those 3 games wouldn't really bare mentioning.

@@benjammin9471 Damn that's violation 😂 but seriously I could see him start in PL teams from lower half of a table, he's just not good enough for being a backup to the best DM in the world i. e. Rodri so he suffer strongly from being compared to him.
agreed on Fabinho. he has recovered some form recently and i don't want to hate on a player so instrumental to our success over the years, but his downfall this season is just outstanding
True. It's a bit sad to have to include players who have proved themselves and done really ell in the past but for some reason have just totally lost form. Fabinho, Ndidi and Sterling have all made vital contributions to their teams in the past. Hopefully they can all recover and show that form is temporary while class is permanent.
I'm quite disappointed that you didn't even consider Rob Holding for Arsenal. Especially when his disastrous performances are the biggest reason why Arsenal failed to win both the Premier League & Europa League.
The flipside to that is that Saliba seems to have been a real unsung hero and it was only when he dropped out that it became apparent how important he was. All the pundits had been raving about the forwards and midfielders.
@@iankemp1131 To be fair, Defenders have long been the unsung heroes of any side. Despite the fact they are probably the most important players on the pitch. That's why Saliba should be getting player of the season for Arsenal. It's also no coincidence that ever since the Campbell-Toure Partnership met it's demise. Arsenal have never had a serious title challenge until now.
It's strange, as a Tottenham fan, I don't see Richarlison as a flop but more of someone I feel sorry for because he hasn't gotten a fair shot, but I guess he has to be a flop because of his output.
Richarlison is no surprise. Why have clubs paid so much money for him. Agree with most. Too many to choose at Leicester, Everton and Chelsea - Sterling probably not the worst. A few worse than Sancho at Man.U. Hugely agree with Gordon. Never saw Newcastle as a good fit for him. Lingard at Forest is a no brainer. Southampton are a disaster, full stop. Scamacca has been injured, but is quality. Same for Cornet, but I’d probably pick him.

I don't mean to pile on Neal Maupay but he never scored at Brighton while getting a ton of chances, so I've no idea why Everton signed him thinking that he'd score goals. Surely that's what Everton needed, was someone to put the ball in the net. Works hard? Yes. But strikers ultimately are judged on goals.
Everton don't think much when signing players lol. They dont do them in a clever way, just based on v i b e s. And yeah, Maupay has gotten a lot of chances so he scored some at Brighton, even though his conversion rate has been poor and everyone was saying Brighton need someone better, but he has gotten a fair amount of goals because of that, so Everton, being the shambles that they are, thought he was actually good. For me he's championship standard
I will never not find it funny the expectations that ManU fans had for Wout Weghorst, people were saying he was going to be better than CR7 Are you kidding me, CR7 wasn't working in the team, so they get a worse player on the same position, I have no clue on how does this work
I mean they both produced very little statistically and Wout has put in more effort in terms of pressing plus has not caused any massive headaches behind the scenes. Neither were good enough simple.
Mikkel Damsgaard for Brentford is a poor fit since it was known from the beginning, that he would be using most of this season to get back into fitness (and putting on some muscle), and not considered to be contesting for being regular first team starter this season (and even then he've actually mostly managed this in the tail-end of the season) Much more probable name for Brentford would be Keane Lewis-Potter
Lewis-Potter has struggled due to injuries far worse and also due to Thomas Frank being a very strange human being who’s developed a sheer grudge, far more unjustified than Damsgaard (who’s been awful every time he’s played unlike Lewis-Potter). Surely Schade is a shout if you’re all complaining about Damsgaard? Proving pace and vibes aren’t enough to make you a good footballer for months now.
Let's face it in any other time Arsenal would have indeed have had a fantastic season but when you're up against Man City even that's not good enough to win you the title such is the insane strength in depth of the city squad who can basically field 2 title winning squads that Arsenal simply can't compete with and neither can anyone else in the EPL and unfortunately that doesn't look like changing any time soon
@grealish there's basically no drop off in quality whenever they pick up injuries they just continue on winning week in week out there's really no difference in quality between their first and second choice squads
Next season will show if it was just luck or Arsenal does have a good team,my guess its luck like the red mancs with Ole finishing 2nd,next season when Newcastle will be stronger,Liverpool back from whatever went on with them ,Spurs stop with its spurs legacy & Chelsea not in the lower half + whatever will happen with the red mancs, hate me or not but if the others return to form i dont see Arsenal in top4.

Thank you for not labelling Antony as a flop. There are too much slander on him right now (I used the word “slander”, not “criticism” because it came from bad faith) by the British media just because of his price tag and his spinning but I think he’s improving every game and his end product might be low thanks to the teammates like Martial and Weghorst who can’t score to save their lives. Fulham flop should be Kevin Mbabu. Came in expecting to challenge Kenny Tete for RB position. Played a few games, had a massive falling out with Marco Silva and then left to rot in the reserves.
Now that's a waste of money.

Richarlison has been stuck behind Kane and injured Spurs overall awful this year thanks to no real manager is depressing to watch. Look at what Richarlison manages to do for Brazil as a 9
Damsgaard has been working through an athritis type injury, not necessarily not injured enough to keep him out but i understand. his struggles
Wow. You did the Newcastle owners dirty there!! 😂
Everton, can we submit our owner/board as a flop?
Phillips wasn't a flop he just didn't really play. It did make me laugh at the end of every win he'd come on in his bib all happy giving all his team mates a handshake just seeming like a mascot
Definitely agree on Lingard for forest
Disagree vehemently on Newcastle as I thought Claire Balding was piss poor this season.
Can't call Phillips a flop he hasn't had enough game time
A flop I haven’t been hearing much about is Kalvin Phillips. He’s been awful this season and I don’t see anyone talking about him
Oh, the comments about Chelsea !
Guedes must have one hell of an agent how he keeps getting moves is beyond me
Deniz Undav was playing for a relegation fighting 3rd division team in Germany just 2 years ago, transferred to the 2nd Belgian division the following season. The fact alone that he is playing premier league and scoring is a miracle for him, hence why i would not include him as a flop as no one expected him to play a significant role for brighton yet.

Bayer Leverkusen
Spurs last year
Juve
Sevilla ends up in the mid table of La Liga (10th place) despite beating Juve in semifinal and breaking into UEL's final.
How are Liverpool ending on a high
He just hasn't built on his development after breaking into the team in 2020
Why did he let it bounce
I’d argue Tariq Lamptey. Constantly injured and the amount of injuries he’s had has meant he’s lost the edge he had when first came through under us the rare time he does play
@@Nazzazzaable not a bad shout, but after Tariq’s massive injury over the past few years, he’s never looked the same player. I thought Sanchez would kick on, like realistically, who thought Steele would be our number 1 this season at the start of it? Nobody

Very harsh on Carlos Vinícius.

@@justhuy7960 even when Shaw played sancho has been a let down. I was so excited when we signed him due to his flair and skills, he has shown none of that since signing for Utd. I think we should move him on and have garnacho, Amad, rashy and Antony as the wing options

Cucaracha over Sterling. 60 million and has given absolutely nothing back during the entire season.
If he has any dignity, for the sake of his career, he should put in a transfer request and go to a mid table club out of the limelight, where he can regain the form that prompted United to buy him in the first place
yeah he has fallen even further, but let's face it, his demise started long before, and everyone thought last season already that he surely has to go

Maguire is hated because of who he is, not how he plays. Every game he’s played, United have won, except Sevilla, which was far more De Gea’s fault. Tip for you: watch football, not social media.

Reminds of Jack Rodwell
homegrown numbers matter. i'm convinced that's why they signed him, just like they wouldn't pay 100 mil for Grealish if he wasn't homegrown (even though you can argue ha has been worth it after this season)
Why would his career be over? Especially considering the quality of training with city and pep
Philips could come good for them Ake hardly played for them now he plays a lot.
They never used stones as a dm before this season
He's not even your worst signing of the last year or two 😂 Dele Alli
Especially with their situation it’s crazy they never gave him a chance
I think Bailey has proved abit better since emery came in so I wuld say it’s coutinho
I might have suggested Targett. He was a big first signing by Howe and has not featured at all this season.

And Alfie my old mate if Saudi’s actions in Yemen (inevitably) get a special mention given your visceral dislike of NUFC why not the UAE (Man City) who are Saudi allies in Yemen.
Kalvin Phillips has been so bad that Pep won't even trust him to come on unless they are 3+ goals up, i'll be stunned if he's there still next season. His only contribution is getting paid for waving to the fans before a game starts, that's all does.
Hey come on now give him some credit, he also picks up the bibs and cones in training
@@benjammin9471 Damn that's violation 😂 but seriously I could see him start in PL teams from lower half of a table, he's just not good enough for being a backup to the best DM in the world i. e. Rodri so he suffer strongly from being compared to him.
I think for Villa, Digne deserves a dishonourable mention.
question lad at 17:11 why is there a picture of Soumare there while youre talking about Ndidi hahahaha
agreed on Fabinho. he has recovered some form recently and i don't want to hate on a player so instrumental to our success over the years, but his downfall this season is just outstanding
Holding by name, holding by nature. Absolute yellow card machine.
The flipside to that is that Saliba seems to have been a real unsung hero and it was only when he dropped out that it became apparent how important he was. All the pundits had been raving about the forwards and midfielders.
@@3rdtonefromthesun That does expose his inability to defend more than anything else.
Harsh on Kehrer, had a good few mistakes early on but he's been immense the last few games
It's strange, as a Tottenham fan, I don't see Richarlison as a flop but more of someone I feel sorry for because he hasn't gotten a fair shot, but I guess he has to be a flop because of his output.
I'd probably say Son, has gotten a lot of chances but fell off a cliff this season
Do a video on biggest knockout competition comebacks including playoffs given that Sheff wed overturned a 4-0 deficit to go through on pens in the league 1 playoff semi
They should rename this ‘I’m a white guy so don’t relate to black players as much, so judge them more harshly list’. Leon Bailey was an utter ridiculous choice when Coutinho exists.
I will never not find it funny the expectations that ManU fans had for Wout Weghorst, people were saying he was going to be better than CR7
Are you kidding me, CR7 wasn't working in the team, so they get a worse player on the same position, I have no clue on how does this work
I mean they both produced very little statistically and Wout has put in more effort in terms of pressing plus has not caused any massive headaches behind the scenes. Neither were good enough simple.
Mikkel Damsgaard for Brentford is a poor fit since it was known from the beginning, that he would be using most of this season to get back into fitness (and putting on some muscle), and not considered to be contesting for being regular first team starter this season (and even then he've actually mostly managed this in the tail-end of the season)
Much more probable name for Brentford would be Keane Lewis-Potter
Lewis-Potter has struggled due to injuries far worse and also due to Thomas Frank being a very strange human being who’s developed a sheer grudge, far more unjustified than Damsgaard (who’s been awful every time he’s played unlike Lewis-Potter). Surely Schade is a shout if you’re all complaining about Damsgaard? Proving pace and vibes aren’t enough to make you a good footballer for months now.
who cares please make a video about homophobia in french football
Let's face it in any other time Arsenal would have indeed have had a fantastic season but when you're up against Man City even that's not good enough to win you the title such is the insane strength in depth of the city squad who can basically field 2 title winning squads that Arsenal simply can't compete with and neither can anyone else in the EPL and unfortunately that doesn't look like changing any time soon
Not true mate . City don't have 2 teams . They have players who can play at every position and most flexible
So everyone else is gonna get stronger asides Arsenal? 🤷
@@ierbutza21 No way can you dismiss Arsenal this season as just luck, they have overachieved which is a tribute to Arteta but they are a young and growing team. Need to increase squad depth to play Champions League but I'm sure they will be in top 4 next season, can't see them going backwards now.
Day 23: best XI Brazilians that played for other nations
Off the top of my head, I’d say Eduardo, for Croatia
Thank you for not labelling Antony as a flop.
There are too much slander on him right now (I used the word “slander”, not “criticism” because it came from bad faith) by the British media just because of his price tag and his spinning but I think he’s improving every game and his end product might be low thanks to the teammates like Martial and Weghorst who can’t score to save their lives.
Hell, just look at Bruno Fernandes. 108 chances created. Highest in the league. And how many assists he made from those chances? EIGHT! That’s how abysmal United attack really is.
Antony is such an important player in how we play.
Mate weghorst is on loan, martial has been injured majority of the season. Antony was 100mil and his finishing isnt exactly great, hes also part of the front line that is abysmal. Yes he is improving but still very predictable. Gakpo came in the winter didnt score his first 6 games but now has out performed antony in goals and assistscombine. Not to mention this is united best team in years and Liverpool’s worse.
@@marko9463 "united's best team in years" where are you coming up with this load of crap?
This is one of United's worst teams of all time. A sentiment that's been repeated so much over this season that you feel the urge to repeat the opposite enough to try to make it true, just pathetic.
@@xCestLaVie1 no its nit name me a united team that is better than this one in the last 7 years
@@marko9463 your pool team is virtually the same for the past 2-3 years then added Darwin and Gakpo, what load of crap are you trying to spout.
Classic annoying pool fan who tries to argue a fact as if you can change it.
United's worst team in years is being repeated so much which is where you got this phrase from, then you troll by saying the opposite. Just classic Liverpool intellectual. No better than a child.
Jack Grealish, last 2 seasons, 98 games, 9 goals and 12 assists... thats less than a goal every 10 games, and 1.1 assist every 10 games ..if your going to only just hold the ball, and gets paid over £100 million for 5 years, which is disgustingly underperforming
How could it not be coutinho at villa 22 games 1 goal no assists
Everton fan here. Anthony Gordon is very VERY average at best (and is also a spoilt brat btw). Richy was our best player last season and its so sad that we squandered the good money we got for him. P.S The ENTIRE Everton squad are flops.
Rashford bounced back??? He's been shocking this season. A few goals for a short spell and now he's back to the standards of the usual over hyped English player
"We should know by now much better than to expect much of Antony Martial." Ouch! Not wrong though.
Incidentally, as a Newcastle fan I can't disagree with your inclusion of Anthony Gordon. I certainly hope that he comes good for us next season, but he's not earned his fee yet, that is for sure.
As a Bournemouth supporter, I would vote for Ryan Fraser at Newcastle
Sambi's career at Arsenal is definitely over. he couldn't even start regularly at palace and with potential recruitments in the summer including rice and caicedo, i think it's better he return to belgium or play somewhere else where he can be a guaranteed first team starter. fabio viera on the other hand has been dreadful this season. he has always been the weakest link in the first 11 whenever he plays. he can't link a pass nor defend.
Fabio Vieira was sucess at Porto why not at arsenal. Could it be the coach?
1) a striker is only as good as the service he receives...you can't score without the ball (which just goes to show how good Kane is)....
1) Phillips will get the same treatment as Grealish or others......if you're good enough you'll get to play, if you're not, you go.....first season is always a trial run.....
You shouldn’t include Maguire because when he’s played he hasn’t been bad. He shouldn’t bear the brunt of fraud De Gea’s blunders against Sevilla. They’ve won every game he’s played otherwise. And the hate against him is entirely unjustified and always has been.
"Because i am a cruel and mean-spirited individual "😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a fellow commenter said, it should be THE ENTIRE TEAM for Chelsea.
I’d say Aubamayang or Koulibaly over Sterling by a mile, Koulibaly has had about 3 good games and he was supposed to be an Upgrade on Rudiger
