It happened in Italy in 2006 when Juventus, those criminals, were relagated. The following season without them was the best in the last millenia in Serie A. If City goes down PL will still be a top class league.
Demotion to the League 1 is not enough if City are found guilty. They should be banned from competing for 2 years and demoted on top of that. A demotion for these owners would mean that the investments would be worth it. Because they can easily make sure they have a good enough squad to go straight back up. That would only be a minor setback. Strip the titles too ofc.
@@ironheade22 Well if the owners have inflated the sponsorship deals with their own money it is a very big deal as it creates an unfair sporting advantage. So if they are found guilty on this my belief is that they will face a huge punishment. Then it's the case of not co-operating with the investigation. Which should also be punished hard imo. The economy of football needs to be controlled and the first step of that is to finish this case so that they can focus on implementing better financial structures of the PL. If the clubs keep growing their economy in this pace it will soon be unavailable for middle class people.
@@PetterStoners The rules mean that the clubs that already had the most money could be the only ones allowed to spend the most forever, with no other club having the possibility of catching up. The point of FFP is to give an unfair sporting advantage to the elite clubs. Therefore, City disregarding these dumb rules is for the good of the league and any punishment, no matter how small, would be completely unjustified. City's punishment for non-cooperation in the UEFA case was fairly minor compared to what UEFA wanted to charge them with, so it may be likely that the same thing will happen again.
@@ironheade22 This sounds like a wild conspiracy theory. If the integrity of the sport should be kept you have to regulate the top clubs then. Not have one club break the law just because they don't agree with it. Sounds like one case is argued for City being innocent from breaking the rules, then another case is argued for why they did. It's contradicting. Let's just wait and see what the outcome will be of this case and then discuss what to do with the rest of the league. Surely an independent regulator doesn't sound so bad.
Comparing the City situation to Rangers/Celtic is ridiculous. The Scottish league had two teams that matter, one was dropped to the bottom league, the Premier League has teams that finish 7th and win the Champions league. If the City left the league it would only be bad for City, the league itself would carry on as normal.
@@Birl Not at all, if the charges stick then punishments apply. They can't potentially commit 115 charges and be given a slap on the wrist if they stick, rules are rules and a clubs achievements shouldn't lessen them.

Arsenal draw 2-2 to city, away from home - and they talk about how poorly we played, yet Liverpool lose 1-0 at home to forest, and they think they can win the league?

Seems Buvey has rattled arsenak fans 😂😂😂
Buvey is actually scared of those 130 charges. That's why you see him flapping & saying things like " it will be disastrous for English football"
Scoles said before the season on one of these when we missed out on Zubimendi that he was worried about Liverpool's legs in midfield, and now he's saying "all of Liverpool's midfield players can run"? He just says the first thing that comes into his mind, none of his opinions are thought out at all.
Paul Scholes, the audacity to say that we went to Etihad and did the same thing as last year.. which game was this man watching? Only the second half?
Just give Clive the mic pls
Clive is such a great rep for Arsenal. Speaks with poise, balance and class. Buvey on the other hand.. city fans should be embarrassed of him
We can see why scholes isn't a manager
Scholes really proves that great footballers don't equal great pundits. He appears to be stuck in the 90s...still an absolute diamond of a footballer though.
I liked Paul Scholes as a player but I totally disagree about almost everything that he said about Manchester United players. De Light is way way better player than Maguire, Garnacho is better player than Rashford. It is obvious that Svholes is bias, prefers British players. Sorry Mr Scholes but your comments don’t make lots of sense.

I don’t hear Chelsea getting a load of abuse they’ve literally just spent £1.5b in 2 seasons we’ve never done anything anywhere near that… how do you think the red cartel got to where they are in the first place loads of money being pumped in and now it’s the other way around they don’t like it. FFP was brought in the protect the big clubs, why are all the small clubs getting charged, wake up?

Demotion to the League 1 is not enough if City are found guilty. They should be banned from competing for 2 years and demoted on top of that. A demotion for these owners would mean that the investments would be worth it. Because they can easily make sure they have a good enough squad to go straight back up. That would only be a minor setback. Strip the titles too ofc.
This is vile take. They haven't even done anything wrong as the rules are braindead
No, it would ruin the competition in whichever league. Transfer ban or huge fine so they can't operate in the transfer market
It still puts a huge question mark over the integrity of the league though.
@@Birl Not at all, if the charges stick then punishments apply. They can't potentially commit 115 charges and be given a slap on the wrist if they stick, rules are rules and a clubs achievements shouldn't lessen them.
Which team was 7th and won UCL?

A fair punishment if city found guilty would be, take all the titles away from them until 2018 and send them to efl league one, or ban them for a couple of years from the premier leauge. They need to do a Lance Armstrong example of it, simple as that.
