It's still unbelievable to me how everyone thinks that Coutinho is worst signing ever, no it's Eden Hazard
I agree with u. Coutinhos first year with Barca wasn’t even that bad but he just fell off then and not putting in enough effort when the team needed it
@@Donbozothe best season of his barca stint was the loan at bayern, and his best game was against barca
Agreed
Hazard didn't ruin Real madrid finances. They still won 2 la ligas and a ucl with him, and if it wasn't for his lack of fitness, Vini Jr. might not have had the chance to become the world-class player he's today. Meanwhile, Barca has been on a downward spiral since the Coutihno signing both financially and performance wise not to mention he assisted and scored twice against them in the worst defeat in barcalona modern history
@@Dr.Yakub22 That's not Coutinho's fault. Bartomeu is responsible for paying the fees and wages to players that club can't afford. They aren't in financial problems just because Coutinho's deal, it's much more complex than that. This is just a talk about biggest flop, and Hazard flopped harder than Coutinho and that's a fact
The Andy Carroll transfer honestly just broke football for me. Every time I see a mad transfer fee I just remind myself that Andy Carroll once cost £35,000,000 (£50m inflation adjusted) and at the time was _the eighth most expensive transfer in football history._
Nothing made sense after that.
The Andy Carroll transfer in my eyes is literally one of the worst transfers of all time. Liverpool basically scammed Chelsea, offloading Fernando Torres, off the back of a truly awful season, for £50m, and then instantly went and got themselves scammed by Newcastle, knowing Liverpool had money, and throwing £35m of that on an absolute donkey that had only ever looked good in the Championship.
To be fair to Liverpool the Suarez transfer basically overrided that mistake and they made a decent profit on him so overall the Torres money was well spent.
Just to play devils advocate somewhat, he scored 11 goals in 19 PL games leading up to the transfer, and looked extremely good for Newcastle, becoming an England international in the process. Imagine what you'd pay now for a striker with that record, probably not a disimilar amount even when factoring in inflation. I'm not saying Liverpool didn't overpay, but it wasn't quite as outrageous as people make out. Obviously he flopped bad at Liverpool, but thats easy to factor in hindisght. Liverpool could only go off his previous performances and record which had been very good for Newcastle.
@@discreetelite I think part of the problem was that he didn't want to be there at all lmao I think he cried when he was told Newcastle accepted the bid (also all the injuries)
everyone knows Mike Ashley is a greedy cunt and everyone but Liverpool knew they were overpaying for a home grown Geordie kid who loved his club more than pretty much anything else lol but at the same time they were getting something like 16.5x his market value at the time of the transfer which is I'd imagine quite difficult to refuse
At least Caroll was a young striker. To me, nothing is compared to Chelsea forking out 35m pounds on Danny Drinkwater.
I remember Caroll signing was shocking to everyone but did generate a bit of excitement in certain fans section. Drinkwater signing was a literal meme from the day of his announcement.
Coutinho’s signing for Barcelona looks like a masterclass when compared to Hazard’s signing for Madrid. He’s lucky that they were still successful despite his performances because he was quite simply embarassing
He's even more inconsistent at Aston Villa. Can't even displace a 22 year old Ramsey
Tf? Hazard just got injured, he hasn’t been embarrassing coz he can’t play. Coutinho just genuinely lost form and didn’t play well
@@lordvadertheleftie9703he literally was playing well and then got injured, scored against Arsenal and has been injured since. Gosh I don’t think some of y’all watch football
@@lordvadertheleftie9703 I’m not talking about him signing for Villa and Ramsey is a baller
@@lk7923 Started overweight, wasn’t performing, got injured, and he never came back. He had plenty of time to come good but he never did. 7 goals in 76 games over a span of 4 years is putrid for a 115M signing. Coutinho wasn’t good for Barcelona but at least he had his moments and even at his worst he contributed more than Hazard. The main reason why Coutinho’s move is seen as much worse than Hazard’s is because the state of both clubs. Barcelona wasn’t good financially or sporting-wise during much of Coutinho’s tenure, so he was under a microscope. Hazard on the other hand did nothing but steal 20M euros a season from Madrid on top of his gigantic fee, but since Madrid kept on winning and it didn’t affect them he sort of got a pass. Also as Alfie argued Coutinho was never worth that much money, plus he never really was going to be a good fit alongside Messi, just like Griezmann. His signing for Barcelona was bad sporting-wise, but it became atrocious because of external factors (fit, fee and the financial state of the club). Hazard’s was terrible sporting-wise, but it didn’t affect Madrid that much
Surprised Lucas Torreira was an honourable mention for the 2018-19 season. I know he ended up not living up to expectation but his first season at Arsenal was actually pretty good. First 1/2 of the year he was arguably the best holding mid in the league and his form just fell off in April when Arsenals did.
Probably distorted by the fact that I thought he was a brilliant signing and exactly what Arsenal needed at the time. Maybe a tad harsh!
That's what I was thinking
Furthermore Emery completed missued him by playing him in incredibly advanced roles. When played deep he's fantastic.

Best what? 😂😂😂
Modric being laliga flop of the season in 2012/13 is exaggerated. It was half season analysis of modric. In the second half of the season with mourinho's trust growing he almost replaced ozil in the starting lineup
Modric first year at Madrid is SEVERELY underrated and overlooked and I’m not saying that just because he flourished into one of the legends of the game. You could see from day one that he oozed of talent, his first touch and passing were world class and he gave everything even if he was subbed in in the last 10 minutes of the game. That he would be named LaLiga’s worst signing is a disgrace and worth of an investigation.
For further proof you can search “How bad was Luka Modric’s first year at Madrid actually”, there’re some great videos on the topic.
Yes, this guys assessment of the great 2018 Ballon D'Or winner, Luka Modric, is disgracefully wrong!🤔
His flop was a exagerrated by media.. most fans new he be special with time he only had half a season ro start.
@@raulputong331 the spanish media made that choice, not alfie. he just mentioned that awful spanish press picked modric as the worst signing that year.
Sadio Mané 22/23 deserves more than a honourable mention:
Signed for 32 mio € which looked like a bargain at the time, he will cost Bayern 66 mio € in wages over the next years (makes it even harder for bayern to offload him) only to punch his teammate, without making any impact in the squad and performing below bundesliga average in his position in many aspects!
He's be gone soon probably to Saudi
His honourable mention are the first 3 seconds of the video. 😄
@@soundscape26oh ur right I wrote the comment in the end haha
For some reason people don't want to mention how underwhelming he was. In fact, people keep fatuously pointing to him as the reason Liverpool dropped out of the top four. And he got involved in a punch-up with his rhyming teammate, Leroy Sane.
@@stevencooke6451because of his “good boy” PR campaign and image and casuals supporting him as well as his toxic fanbase.
Hate Werners inclusion here. He missed a bunch of sitters, but also made team attack click with his relentless super intelligent running. Chelseas attack as a team fell off the cliff when Werner was let go.
he was awful/. stop this
Werner's lack of goals was an issue but people forget that with him in the side, Chelsea won the UCL and were the in form team in the PL under Tuchel. Only once things changed tactically and he was taken out the side did their attacking output end up in the mud
Yes it's similar to Anthony at Man U. Both had/have huge issues with their end product but still played useful roles in the team.
Spot on he created sm of Chelsea’s attack that season
You can say that all you want but he was bought to score at an elite level and he didn't even do it at an average level and was eventually sold at a massive loss
a documentary of Borussia Dortmund and how they were extremely close to bankruptcy in 2002 time and how Bayern had to save them. The extreme difficulties the club has had to manage within to get back to where they are #thepeopleschannel
Boring
That sounds very interesting
@sh3tpostsgamertime204 Why?
And now we’re a Bayern feeder club 😎
@@strawberryangel1016 I think the highlights are the most interesting for this story and going into extended detail wouldn’t achieve much for a 15 min video
Everton did have a flop of the season contender in 2017/18, but I don't think it was Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson was never a bad player for Everton (and obviously nobody could've predicted the noncing that led to him being let go for nothing), and at times looked like one of Everton's best players.
It was Davy Klaassen that was the real flop. He cost nearly £30 million, and made a grand total of 7 appearances in all competitions, scoring 0 goals.
23 million and resigned for 14 million
9 mill loss
Sigurdsson overpaid for and no where near as good as he was for Swansea
Hamstrung their budget
Agreed, Gbamin as well, heel every Everton signing in the last 8 years The only bright spot for the toffees is there are three worse teams than them this seasonThat may not be the case at the end of the summer window the way things are going.
@@RetroProg
Yes him for sure never Sigurdsson
He’s also a nonce
I agree Everton paid too much for Sigurdsson but he was a good player for them. Scored goals, got assists and could make something happen. Gbamin, Klassen, Niasse and Tosun (there will be more but these are the ones that come to mind) were all abysmal signings. Made huge losses on them and got absolutely nothing in return.
possibly a better comparison for shevchenko would be:
imagine harry kane joins real madrid this summer for £140M, and only scores 6 goals all season
Very hypothetical & unlikely
@@jm-np4muthat's why he said "imagine"
Too be fair, his manager never wanted him

Alfie you should really consider doing a video on the Bosnian men's national team, from being ranked 13 in the world in 2014 and qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil, to not qualifying for a single tournament since, yet managing to win their uefa nation leagues group, but genuinely hitting our lowest point with a 2-0 defeat to Luxembourg. Aging players, players who represent other national teams that are eligible to play for Bosnia but aren't seeming interested, just the genuine geopolitical mess that Bosnia is with how the Dayton agreement was meant to simply end the Bosnian war yet became the country's de facto constitution. I think it would make for a very interesting video, and could even span additional videos like how Velez Mostar are forced to play away from their original stadium in Mostar as it is on the Croatian side of the river, with their old stadium being taken over by Zrinjski Mostar. A club that was actually banned in Yugoslavia because of their nationalistic origin
and you should be fighting for the second spot... I mean it's Slovakia goddamit
All of Torres’ floppiness was forgiven for THAT goal.
The ultimate happy ending to a flop story. 😀
I agree. Andy Carroll was a bigger flop
He also won the corner that drogba scored from in the final.
Also scored in europa league final
Chelsea were already through befroe he scored
Considering Diego Costa posed with live wolves, I think its disrespectful to include him in this list.
yes, that's worth 30 PL goals alone
Falcao did with a tiger for Atletico Madrid picture
A sub two minute introduction on a HITC Sevens video? Crazy times indeed
You could do a whole video on players who had one or two good seasons, decided they were now world class and demanded stupid wage increases, which their clubs refused to pay, preferring to let them move on instead. They almost always come crashing back down to earth at their new club.
In such a video, Alex Song and Mattheu Flamini would probably be Arsenal's front runners, but most PL clubs have at least one candidate, including many of those featuring in this video, like Coutinho, Torres, Carroll, and Lukaku.
adeybaor comes to mind
@@luppo7812 say what you want about Neymar but his PSG numbers are excellent. Obviously it's a shit league but he can only play what's put in front of him.
@@luppo7812 173 games, 118 goals and 77 assists and you are saying he's fell off lol?
@@luppo7812 meat riding, I don't even like Neymar, I'm just saying his output has been good for PSG, and I'm talking about the fact that other teams in the league are weak not his teammates.
Carroll never demanded anything, that was Liverpool who fought he was worth the money they paid for him
To be honest, Cisse was unlucky due to his leg being broken as well. No one can predict what would happen if he was healthy. He had a quite good second season before he left, as he wanted to be a striker, however benitez was using him to the right wing.
I came here, before even finishing the video, to say just this.
Very unfair to include Cisse after that horrible leg break.
It was a clean break as well not just a partial or fracture that the media like to refer to as a break. That can kill you let alone what your career will be after.
I can see the video of that injury against Blackburn in my head frame by frame
I absolutely love your list, you named all the flops I could think of. Some of them, are players many of us forgot because their arrival in EPL was forgetful. I love the list. Great work!
I like how you said you weren’t picking on Chelsea and then proceed to shit on them at nearly every entry in this rundown. 😂😂👍
Cisse breaking his leg would be the reason for his low numbers that season 😂
He also did this in 2006 with France national team against China.
@@ezraezra2928 Which is part of the reason why he hasn't scored many goals against Chinese opposition too.
@@makavelismith True fact 😂😂😂
I can see why you chose Richarlison, but as someone who is close to the Bundesliga I have a hard time imagining someone being a bigger flop than Sadio Mané at Bayern this season, for several reasons.
First, he was quite unimpressive on the pitch, then he injured himself, then he got back and players were surprised about Mané's technical shortcomings as a footballer, and then he slapped Sane after the game against ManCity and got the biggest fine Bayern ever asked a player to pay :D.
Also, I am sure no member of the Austrian Wunderteam was ever a flop 😇✌.
Idk how Charles De Ketelaere wasn’t mentioned for 22-23. Milan’s most expensive signing and only registered a single assist for the whole season on the final game day vs Verona
I just knew you wouldn't include Grealish for 21-22 and surprise surprise you didnt. Lukaku had 3 times his return last year in much less games. Sort out the English bias for future mate, not even a mention for 3 league goals after 100m
Can you do a video on the biggest career revival every season to go alongside this one?
Wow! How often do you hear a Fosbury Flop high jump reference these days? Magnificent, Alfie
these videos really do bring back such nostalgia,so many names that time has deleted from our brains but instantly recognisable,i even remember some of the transfer fees b4 he says them lol
That Balotelli to liverpool move really deserved to get top spot on that year. Falcao was awful but was a loan. I’ve never seen a player as bad as Balotelli for liverpool. Awful
You haven't seen many Liverpool players then
Alberto Aquilani? Something like that. He was awful.
When did you start watching Liverpool play, there were much worse than Balotelli
what are you tlaking about man?? Liverpool have had far shittier players lol, borini
@@bzilla1090 I feel like if someone is too young to remember Sean Dundee that we should leave them with their blessing of ignorance and drink deep, ourselves.
How was Robinho at a premier league record £32.5m not mentioned at all
How is Maguire not on the list?????? Possibly the worst signing in pl history
You know very little
Worst signing in PL history? Maguire gave us 2 very solid seasons you dungus, he was no worse than Lukaku who was bought by chelsea from inter for 100m.
Chelsea players wearing No.9 were known for bad luck in football.
Kezman, Torres, Higuain, Lakaka, and Aubameyang, all had tough season with this number!
Even non-striker footballers like Boulahrouz and Sidwell had bad season too!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man really said Modrić had a “decent” career at Real. 😂
You forgot Messi in his first season at PSG with 5 goals all season
He's a fanboy
Brilliant as always - thank you so much!
I fear Mason Mount could flop at United. They've spent the last 10 years spending a fortune of acclaimed sought after established players and promising young talent and ruining them. Pogba, McGuire, Sancho, Sanchez, Falcao, Lukaku, Antony, Fred, Memphis.....Mount???
Sancho and Antony it's too soon to say that, they could still develop in to ballers
@@brettpilkington9539Antony yes Sancho not really. He has had 2 seasons and no impact whatsoever.
I'd be interested on a video featuring players who were undisputed stars, before a transfer to a different club proved disastrous for both the player and new club.
Eden Hazard is an obvious template for this; but I find it fascinating due to the quality of the player's skill or dedication never being in question.
I do suspect, however, it would lengthy to research as the context would be greatly different for each player. And reaching a conclusion into why performance declined so significantly would be near impossible.
Looking at the 19/20 season I still wonder what Frankfurt was doing to unlock Jovic, Haller and Rebic
first of all the coach (Niko Kovac); Kovac understands the mentality of players like Rebic and Jovic; Kovac was Croatian national coach, he knew rebic before (also he is croatian/german). and the trio just were perfectly together;
Haller as the clear 9, Rebic on the left wing, and jovic playing around haller. since haller is a big guy u need at least one defender if not two defenders on him, which makes room for Jovic, who just is athletic and deadly striker (if he has the time).
I always felt, that Haller couldnt perform in WestHam since the tactics didnt suit him..
still miss that trio at frankfurt 🥲
EDIT: I believe that Kovac was just the perfect coach for Frankfurt at that moment. The team overall had great mentality, which (i believe) unlocked the potential of the player.
Jovic is actually really talented, but he is lazy, doesnt have a work ethic and no hunger to be better. His goal was to come to a big club, not to be the best at that club and as soon as he joined real he started dating models and not giving an f about football
I hated Pogba for big part of his United stay but I don't think he flopped in his first season. Sure he wasn't as good as he was at Juventus in Serie A but he wasn't that bad imo.
I would argue Torres scoring against Barcelona in the Semi Final made his transfer all but worth it, seen as we went on to win the Final against Bayern. So regardless of all his failures in a Chelsea shirt, that one moment made it all worth it. Kind of like Haverz, except he scored in the final 😂, but you know what I mean.
He was a nightmare that seemed never -ending at the time.
Chelsea would’ve gone through anyway on away goals regardless of his goal. People forget this.
I don't necessarily think Costa would be considered biggest flop for 2018-19 season, came up in midway season scored a crucial goal against arsenal in second leg of the Europa League, then scored a brace against Real Madrid in the Super cup final. Also scored a brace at the World cup against Portugal, so I don't think that he was that big of a flop that season. Later on he got worse for sure.
I gonna stick up for Kezman here. I had a season ticket at the time and he used to run his nuts off every game. I remember him very fondly due to the effort he put in.
You’re right. He had an okay second half of the season, but I think it’s because he didn’t hit the ground running at the start where he was just hitting the post, and lacking pace, and only scoring a penalty at home to Newcastle late on before the new year. But in the second half he reminded me of Torres at Chelsea which was not scoring many, but when he did they were important ones as maybe some of his goals probably wouldn’t of gained us 95 points although most of the goals were coming from Lampard and Gudjohnson I think. He had a very good pre-season though…
@@tobiascfc94 👊
Bit harsh on Cisse, who only started 10 games for Liverpool (16 appearances overall) and was out for 6 months during 04-05 with a horribly broken leg.
Great video, as usual. Just one note: Cassano is (and was) teetotal so he may have been accused of having a terrible diet, but he was certainly not drinking heavily
He was brilliant.
Surprised that there's no Robinho and Kaka
Love these videos
Coutinho hate is wild he was only bad for like two months and then a braindead Barca kicked him out to Bayern where he proved to be amazing 😭
The story of Farul Constanța romanian champions this season winning their first (or maybe second?) title.
Club owned, run and managed by romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, a native of the city of Constanța.
Youngest champions in Europe this season (average players age), important contribution (some of the vital) from: 2 players born in 2005, one in 2006,
1 in 2003 and 3 in 2002 - all products of the club academy.
Came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the decisive match against Gigi Becali's team FCSB(who has a claim to Steaua Bucharest history).
I'm surprised Jonathan Woodgate to Real Madrid didn't make the list for 2004-05
Breno sounds like moving to Germany without family broke him. Or for be talking by him just signing a Contract extension shows how so much can change in footie if he surroundings aren't full-tilting
Considering Chelsea has so many big flops, it is quite incredible that they have been able to compete for titles over the last 20 years, lol.
I love how many of these players i recognise for being fm wonderkids. Keirisson on fm09 was a beast ad i still pick him up on fm23 on a free for the nostalgia
Another suggestion for the 01/02 season, Francis Jeffers for Arsenal. So bad that I had actually forgotten he existed until I was much older when I came across him on FM 😂
He only costed £8 million thou
@leehenry5764 Brother do you know how much money that was at the time I mean the top transfer in the world in the 80s was maradona for 5 million
It would be cool to do this going back decade by decade until you get to the first ever transfer in world football. I do like hearing ya talk about players from around 100 or so years ago.
Alf Common was the first 1000 pound transfer.
Could we have a premier league predictions video on where you think each team will finish that could could be fun as it has a follow up video ready at the end of the season to see how many you called correct or close
There’s no way you can say Mkhitaryan was a flop. He was crucial for Man Utd in the Europa League.
He toured as the next big thing after being a star at both shaktar and Dortmund
He had like 20 goals 25 assists the season before

I do agree with your inclusion of the players which you have listed and they have wasted their game time, good friends!!!🙏🏻
Shevchenko actually struggled a lot by injuries at chelsea
Injuries and bad team set up. In Shev's defence I always say - in Milan he was very very consistent top scorer season after season on a highest level winning everything. But injuries and secondary role made him a flop at Chelsea
So proud of my club dominating this list. Come on, you Blues! 😂
I love how Alfie started calling everyone "donkey" lol
It was always whack to me as a Bolton fan (since 2004-05) that Diouf had this huge megastar profile with Senegal and was also a flop at Liverpool. He was solid for Bolton, and had no clue about his two poor seasons beforehand. Did know about the spitting though...
He is still a figure that Sadio Mane looks up to, having been a huge inspiration for him as a kid.
it is utterly ridiculous how many chelsea players feature in this and add it to what theyve done since abramovich left chelsea fans must rage at the mismanagement of their recruitment, but even in saying that theyve won leagues and champions leagues along the way
I am once again asking for a video about Algeria's unofficial FLN national team (1958-1962)
12/13: Modric did struggle at Madrid in his first season but he became a club legend and the first Ballon D'or winner in the peak Ronaldo and Messi era. Song was utter dross at Barcelona.
13/14: I think Jozy Altidore deserves a shout out for flop of the season. 60 plus Premier League games and only one goal for Sunderland is atrocious.
14/15: As bad Falcao was at Manchester United, Rodwell at Sunderland ruined the club for years and he's joined by Ricky Alvarez.
15/16: Actually, Turan wasn't bad at Barcelona. It's just he was never going to replace the MSN. Memphis on the other hand was hopeless at Manchester United. 18 months and 2 Premier League goals proves he ain't good enough for Manchester United plus he was more concerned about his brand than Manchester United.
17/18: Drinkwater was one of many dreadful signings at Chelsea that season. Bakayoko, Morata, Zappacosta, Barkley were disaster class signings but none comes close to the Sanchez and MKH swap deal. Both clubs paid dearly for that transfer however Manchester United suffered more from that than Arsenal. Sanchez was passed it and carrying a high wage package while MKH was equally hopeless at Arsenal.
19/20: Flops galore. Pepe, Maguire, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Gerson Fernandes, Kean, Hazard, Jovic, Griezmann, Felix, Delph, Piatek, Haller, Cutrone, Kevin Augustin, etc.
20/21: Arthur and Pjanic. The swap deal that ultimately destroyed both Juventus and Barcelona in the long term. Both are cash strapped and still struggling to clear the debt. Werner wasn't bad but he was struggling for goals despite his good all round game.
21/22: Only one winner, Romelu Lukaku aka Lakaka. Left Inter to prove a point at Chelsea only to completely piss off the entire Chelsea fan base with that infamous interview and never recovered since.
Jorge Mendes should be investigated for that Bébé transfer
15:55 - that "miss" came in the 2011/12 season though, not the 2010/11.
It's mental how 2-3 years ago, Koulibaly would've cost you £60 million and an arm & a leg to sign. And now after one bad season, he's departing to a retirement home league where he'll be forgotten. My how time flies.

Veron performed better in European football than he did domestically for some reason
He literally says that doesn't he?
Veron was brilliant in Italy tho
Verón's play style wasn't suited to play in the Premier League
Modric is bigger than 90% of the premier league stop wafflin 💀💀
Sometimes the flop is less about the player being bad, and more about the player not fitting in the team they transferred to.
Drogba did not hit the ground running, and Kezman was only 5 million and hardly got his game.

Choosing Falcao over Mangala is wild. Mangala is one of the worst signing of all time.
17:58 - Modrić winning 5 times Champions League at Real Madrid - "Semi decent career" 🤦♂
One player you’ll never find on a list like this - Steve Freeze
Its just a thought, but could it be that a lot of players dont feel comfortable in Bayern due to having a hard time understanding them and well.... German culture.. Its usually the family men that do well there, not the youngsters that arent used to German culture
Arda Turan scored 15 goals and 11 assists in 55 matches for Barcelona. For a reserve player, I think he doesn't have bad statistics and he didn't play badly in 2015.
Idk if I would really count Kalvin Phillips as a flop. It was a weird signing from the beginning, they didn't really need him with the squad they had so they didn't play him, despite forking out a decent chunk for him.
That being said, it's kinda chump change for City and I don't feel like when the transfer was happening anyone was really saying "oh Kalvin Phillips is gonna shake up the league and make City so much better, he's such a star player" etc., He was Leeds' star player for sure but idk, it doesn't feel like a flop when he didn't really play; he didn't play badly he was just far from needed, which I feel like people already suspected going in
Great video btw :)
International teams that all the best players play the same position. As in Scotland going from gk to lb and now looking like it will be rb in couple years
I can’t get across how badly Afonso Alves fucked us, spent too much on him: didn’t have the money to bring in quality players next year.
Scored 2 goals in his debut game against man united yes? 😂
So glad that Luka Jovic features on the thumbnail :D
I still think Werner would have worked out well at Liverpool
Klopp would have found a way to get a lot better out of him. Whether it would have been enough to justify the price... That's another story.
To be fair from what I seen of him he was actually a really good player then it just came to the finishing bit and it was like someone swapped his shoot and cross buttons on fifa
He is a poor finisher, and there us nothing you can do to fix it at his age. Still very fast and good at high press.
Lee Hendie at Villa would only perform when his contract was due for renewal. 5 games of magic then back on the coke
Sounds like Anthony Martialm
Not having this. Hendrie is given this daft reputation but he was a solid player throughout for us. UTV
But fair on the coke statement haha

Awesome vid bro.
I agree Ronaldo has a very disappointing season. But I would not call Portugal being eliminated in the quarter finals an early exit, it is the third best result at a world cup in the history of the country.
At 2:45, can anyone help me understand why Everton didn't qualify for UEFA cup while the two clubs above and below them did?
The two above them, Liverpool and Blackburn, qualified by league position. Of the two below them, Southampton, as FA Cup runners-up, took the spot won by Arsenal, since Arsenal qualified for the CL; Manchester City qualified through the Fair Play rankings. Neither of those is now used. These days the FA Cup spot, if vacated, would be filled by league position. Fair Play rankings aren't used for anything.
As Cafu said, Brazilians don't belong in the Premier League and as long as the majority of the squad are playing there the World Cup will always be out of reach, as Premier League football kills Joga Bonito
