    By tomorrow afternoon I will have three Blackbay58's I think i need help! I have the Blue one and the black one already but after STALKING the silver 925 on youtube since May this year I cant wait any longer, tomorrow im picking up the BB58 925 from my AD, I cant wait, I am literally having to hide one of my other watches and tell my wife that I have swapped/traded one! - Thanks for this video i love the way you showed the different tones/light

      First of all Congratulations!!!! And I think you are doing great! This silver is a real beauty!! Now all you need is the bronze & (maybe gold? But way over priced IMO) to complete the 58 collection!!...Well that's the beauty of watch collecting I guess, compared to other hobbies, we can easily hide a watch from the missus😁 and Thank you so much, means a great deal to me that you enjoyed it! I'll also be doing a 4 months update on this watch soon on how the patina is coming along (as I live in a tropical weather, I'm hoping for quicker patina)

    This watch will age very nicely. If you want a silver watch this is the only one to get.

      indeed! not many (if any) out there with a silver case! (the Zenith pilot type 20 silver does, but it's a limited edition to 250 pc, so good luck trying to find one lol) I'll be dropping a 1 year update on this piece in May :)

    Have the bb dark and I’m drooling over this piece because both have the brushed instead of polished sides for the case.
    But then on the fence now for this piece because it doesn’t come with a deployment clasp. Otherwise I would be perfect

    • @IsaacCheck

      Im on the same page with you brother! I it's one of the many reason why I love this piece, the brushed sides make all the difference.
      I swap it out with so many straps. It's a strap monster this one

    I have had my BB58 925 for about three weeks and love it very much. It's full of style and panache. As for the so called tarnished, I think this is all rubbish. I have a silver brooch for 50 years and it is lovely and bright. Also my wedding ring is silver and is now 13 years old. Great watch.

    • @IsaacCheck
      @IsaacCheck  3 года назад

      I could not agree more!! that's the thing with silver, you gotta wear it to keep it shiny. Congratulations on your acquisition!!! it is indeed a great watch.

  • @briankimballkay

    Well done! Your theory about the inner lugs being the only place the watch isn't regularly touched might be the answer we're all looking for about the mysterious tarnishing pattern. As added evidence, I had a 925 silver wedding ring that never tarnished at all, and of course I was touching it every day. (Or could it also have to do with the lesser amount of light that the inner lugs are exposed to? Hmmm..)

    • @IsaacCheck
      @IsaacCheck  3 года назад

      Thank you Brian!! it's reassuring to hear that about your silver wedding ring too. Though i'm not too sure on getting lesser light 🤔 because the case back gets less light compared to the inner lugs. By the way, i Saw your comment on the Watch Idiot's Channel too, just FYI, I've left the stickers on this one to see if there is any difference on the tarnishing, apparently there are none so far. haha

    Is it too much to ask for a leather strap with a deployment silver clasp ? Instead of a boring watch strap ? I mean over 3k put some effort in tudor. You've done it on other black bays , so why be cheap now ? Don't get it ?

    When you wind yours do you feel a little resistance every turn or so? It starts only after maybe 10-15 winds

    • @IsaacCheck
      @IsaacCheck  3 года назад +1

      Yup! Definitely will feel it. This is true for most mechanical time pieces, as you wind it, the spring will tighten, as it gets tighter, you will feel more resistance. It takes about 30 turns to fully wind. But I prefer not to go that far and let the rotor do its job

    • @EDHBlvd
      @EDHBlvd 3 года назад

      @@IsaacCheck What i mean is when i wind my 925, there is a little clicking feeling once per winding revolution. I dont get this on my North Flag, so it seems a little odd to me. I’m also weary about over winding it, because unlike my North Flag, there is no way to know when you have fully wound it. Unfortunately Ive found that if I take it off for a day, it stops running, so it seems its not fully wound.

      likewise!! but SS bracelet does not match silver lol, can be seen in the watch idiot's vid on the BB 925, the SS bracelet has a darker tone than silver. On the other hand, if the whole bracelet was silver with new clasp, that is something!! ....but a scratch magnet for sure lol!
