This song was written through a grieving process when band members lost a grandmother and mother at around same time. This song is an amalgam of the advice these two influential women had. It transcends the personal and becomes something everyone can relate to . . .
Lynyrd Skynyrd is absolute "Gold Standard of Southern Rock". A genre where you have slow, melody focused sections, combined with "heavy" guitar sections and often having a story or message in the lyrics, and normally combining a "build up" of music and lyrics for hitting key points to get across. They may have been one of the most influential bands for roughly 30 years (80's-2000's) but have been slowly replaced by later bands for modern times as the "influence" type of bands. Now, as far as the whole "Linken Park/Motely Crue" issue? I get it, they both have some good songs and have also been wildly popular over the years for one group or another. But I know that as soon as Metallica gets tossed in that mix, Park and Crue will be left in the dust, especially when you consider the song structures of Metallica that can change directions literally from one verse to the other off of one note. Vocally? Well, vocals are all subjective and you can never really say that one singer is "perfect" for everyone. But there are some who are clearly "better" than others, but don't limit yourself to only male singers. The Wilson sisters (Ann/Nancy) from Heart are considered to be the best female vocalist in Rock-N-Roll, and their vocal range and ability still shocks new listeners to this day.
As far as female rock singers, there is Janis Joplin, and then there is everybody else. No one approaches her. And most vocal critics put Pat Benatar ahead of Ann and Nancy. PB has an operatic voice - literally, since she trained as an opera singer. For male vocalists, hard to top Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin. Hard to top Led Zeppelin as bands go. As you said, it's all subjective; except Janis lol. She's the Jimi Hendrix of female rock vocalists. Ironic that they both died within a month of each other, in 1970, and both were 27. Jim Morrison joined the '27 Club' a few months later, with Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse to follow.
Metallica has some iconic tracks that’s forsure…..as far as hard rock goes they gotta be up there with the greatest like Black Sabbath or Led Zep. And Heart has some of the most recognizable hits ever that’s how crazy good they were. Love the song “magic man”. Pat Benatar’s track “heartbreaker” is bad ass and I believe it was used in a movie recently. Think the movie was “Nobody” which turned out to be awesome

My aunt has 5 boys, her youngest got married 2 yrs ago. She had this played for the mother son dance. It was amazing, he cried through the whole dance. Never expected that from that hard rough country boy. It was perfect.
Every one thought I would have played at my sons funeral…. He used to play this on his guitar and sing it to me around campfires . I couldn’t do it was too personal only 4th time I have sat and listened to it in 2 years and 6 months and 19 days …. Keep Rocking Guys …. Southern Rock at its best

Hi Lisa 💚 thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry for the loss of your son, yet grateful you are able to listen to this song, despite the painful (albiet beautful) memories, even if is only (very) few and far between. Sending you the best vibes of light and joy, and prayers if you want them.
Ballad of Curtis Loew - Skynyrd Its a song about where they got their blues influence from. Even if you don't react, please listen to the song because it's powerful
Grew up listening to them. Always played this for my son when he was growing up. Great message for young men. You don't have to be wealthy money wise it's about you as a man being happy with yourself and your life. That's what makes you wealthy.
Hell yea This my favorite track all time. Always will love Lynyrd Skynyrd. What his mama told him was some sound advice. And she made sure to remind him “don’t forget son, there is someone up above”.
(R.I.P.) Ronnie Van Zant. One of a kind. Never wrote down a lyric: "If I need to write it down, it ain't no good" RVZ. This song is a masterpiece maybe even more than Freebird for me. It's a perfect song.
The very first time I heard this song, I dedicated it to my son (even though I wasn't even pregnant yet). He is now 42 years old and is getting married on July 23, 2022! He and I will dance to this song. The wedding is just a few days away now as I write this on July 20, 2022. After many years and children, he has become a Simple Man. He finally found a woman and found love! I am so glad he waited for the RIGHT woman to marry! This reaction came into my life, just in time! Thanks guys! I appreciate you all!
Not only is the music perfect and the vocals unbelievable but the message that Skynyrd tells of a mother wanting her son to be happy and satisfied in life is something that the world needs in this day and time
Having grown up with this song, it has morphed from being taught these principles as a child to passing these principles to my children, grand children and now my great-grand child. This song has always grabbed my heart from the first time it was on the radio and I never, ever fail to crank the volume up when the first notes play.
Guys, your reaction videos are great. The multiple personalities just bring a whole new level to the reaction video game. Yeah, other channels have a few people, but the way you guys crack on each other is what makes you guys one of my favorites. Don’t change and don’t stop.
Danced to this with my son at his wedding. ❤ His dad passed a few months prior to the wedding and this was one of his favorite Skynyrd songs 😢 ** You should watch a live performance of this **
If you like Southern rock, like Lynyrd Skynyrd, then you would probably like Credence Clearwater Revival, or CCR for short. They have a lot of hits, you've almost definitely heard one or two of their songs without realizing it
Lynard Skinner is an amazing band don't sleep on them. "Sweet home Alabama", "Gimme Back My Bullets", "Gimme Three Steps", "What's Your Name ", "Swamp Music" are a few of my favs. If you've only heard "Free Bird" and now "Simple Man" you've only heard thier slower songs so far. They are a classic band for a reason. Just saying
The GOAT of drummers. No question. He was 62 years old when he did that solo. The bit at the end was a nod to the jazz music in the 50s, early 60s that inspired him as a kid. RIP to the GOAT!
When bands like Disturbed or Shinedown cover some of these classics it comes off pretty corny to me. Shinedown are a good band though but they’re a bit too edgy for their talent.
Gentlemen I am a grandma and have boys of my own and if I could give them a piece of advice it would be this! I have loved watching your journey and look forward to more!
When my daughter was pregnant with her son, she dedicated this song to him, because it, perfectly describes her son’s father, and what they want for him. I call it Wyatt’s song, and I can’t listen to it without thinking of my sweet grandson.
I know you've already listened to Freebird but PLEASE do yourselves a favor and react the live version from 1977. Seeing them in action is a whole other ball game. They were PHENOMENAL. The guitar playing alone is mind blowing.
I love the live version with the Rolling Stones logo. The Stones manager to Skynard to not go down the tounge of thier logo, as that was for Mick Jagger only, well when the Freebird solo was being played Ronnie dared Leon Wilkerson to go down the tounge, and slowly Leon, Ronnie Van Zandt,Allen Collins and Gary Rossington all start to creep down the logo and just jam out to the solo. It was great... it also is shown at the end of the Lynard Skynard documentary on Netflix
I always loved this one, but now that I have two sons of my own, it damn near brings me to tears hearing it. Mommas always want our boys to be happy, good men when they grow up.
The 1st guy, he knows his music. He really does. They doing something, baby you know it !! Linkin Park is no comparison to Lynrd Skynrd. Not even close .... I wish I knew these guys names. This 1st guy has captured my heart ❤. He knows good music when he hears it. Play it for your moms !!! Guaranteed they'll fall straight up in love with it. Because of you guys, your moms will love it !! .
It’s really great that you all are so excited about the music you are discovering! Keep the journey going and you will find music that you will never forget!
I grew up in the 70’s & this band was HUGE….if you’d had told me then that young black dudes would be digging them I’d probably smile 😉 because they really are a GREAT band, you not only listened to their music you could feel that shit
Ronnie Van Zandt was one of THE greatest singers ever. The feelings he put into his songs came straight from his soul. These were learned and lived life lessons. I was 12 in 77(actually didn't turn 12 till Dec of 77) but knew almost all their songs by heart already. If I didn't get the meaning my big sister and/or her friends were happy to explain it to me. So much good stuff in Skynyrd's music. Prime example right here, every mother with a son should sit them down & listen to it together. I have personal songs of theirs that my life has mirrored, not gonna get to personal, but am cool saying Gimme Back My Bullets fits real good.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is my all time favorite band and lead singer, Ronnie Van Zant, will always be the King of Southern Rock. He truly was a brilliant songwriter with a raw Swamp Blues voice, perfectly imperfect. Skynyrd is timeless. ~ Lesa
These guys are so cheerful, sarcastic, and dude to each other and so full of enthusiasm to see and experience things outside their "box of life experience" it's fufn awesome to see and watch! Thanks for doing this, cheers one's gut.
I remember the day their plane crashed. I was 16. They were amazing, endless talent and soul. Now stop interrupting the songs! I want to smack your hand, lol. You guys are adorable and I am so happy to see your generation exploring music before autotuning was a thing. The music then was the real deal. No annoying glowing videos in the background, all focused on the music and vocals. A real treat. Grateful to have come of age during those days.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is always a great listen, with Simple Man being a damn great song. As for stuff you should check out you got to give Buckethead's Soothsayer a listen to some time.
Thanks guys, you make me smile. I will never forget the first time I heard this band on AM radio, late at night in middle school. Music was so different then and they were emerging from the pack of what seemed like so many great groups. Since that time it has been like a tidal wave of creativity rolling over us that has no end. Music is like food for our soul, and a life without it would just be sad. Check out "We Are the World" some time, it is beautiful to see so many styles fit so perfect. We need more of that these days. Blessings Brothers.
I remember listening to Lynyrd on summer nights as a kid with my parents. My mother loved music, brings back great memories. She passed in 09’, sometimes this song makes the eyes water up thinking about her.
Yall need to check out their song "Call me the breeze", and "Don't ask me no questions ". They rock out more! They're southern fried rock at its best. Like ZZTop.
That Smell would be a great one for you guys to check out by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Great vocalists? Clearly he's top shelf, along with Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave and tons of solo stuff starting with his cover of Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U. It's epic. Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam - Check out the Official uncensored video of the song Jeremy, that will make you guys think), Layne Stayle (Alice in Chains - Check out the video's for Man In The Box, Would, and the unplugged version of Nutshell.
this song makes me remember a lot of hard things, but a lot of good ones too. idk man this a different type of song that makes me feel sad and happy at the same time
it had been about ten years since I had been back to my hometown and like the last person I ever woulda expected pulled this song up and said "you wouldn't believe it... but my dad told me" "son there's nothing wrong with being a simple man" music truly transcends
Greg Allman of "The Allman Brothers" is possibly the best vocalist in this genre, southern rock. Check out "Whipping Post" or anything they do live. One of the greatest bands of all time.
Love the Allman Brothers but I really love me some Greg Allman! I am not into all the technical stuff that makes great music but I know what I like when I hear it. "I'm No Angel" is the song I always play at least once and will also play it over and over and over...I always had a thing for the bad boys (I learned the hard way to abstain) and this song...
If you want to hear one of the best voices of all time, listen to Journey (Steve Perry). Check out Open Arms, Faithfully, or Lovin Touchin Squeezin (or anything, really)
I danced with my son to this at his wedding. Would you guys PLEASE do Pink Floyd!!! They are mostly quiet mellow but they are great. I am suggesting Hey You but they don't have a bad song. Dogs is great but it's a long one. Comfortably Numb is one of their most popular songs. Their guitar player, David Gilmour is one of the best to ever pick up a guitar and i think Dogs and Echoes really shows why. Love watching you guys
I sang this to my son all the time. Now I sing it to my grandson. This is all a mom should want for her boy. And a simple kind of man is all a girl needs in a husband.
It's not the voice it's the message and meaning. I played this for my mom when driving to see my oldest brother in the prison after my second oldest brother died .it's life 😔
I think we all know a song can bring us back to a time, place and people. Both Freebird and Simple Man have a special place in my heart because of the loss of my best friend in 1976 who introduced me to Lynard Skinard. To watch you guys respond to both. Makes me smile I am 63 years old. And really appreciate your videos. My wife and I watch your different reactions, you each display. We love you guys. We love your passion and honesty. We are happy to find your channel
I know you all have a lot of black followers, so thank you for allowing them to hear this music. Simple Man, without a doubt, is the greatest rock song ever written and recorded. And believe me when I tell you, I have been to several Skynyrd shows, and have seen a lot of black people jamming along. You guys are the shit.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is classified as southern rock, like the Allman Brothers Band, 38 Special, Molly Hatchett and the like. You should react to Freebird again, butt this time the live version when they opened for The Rolling Stones in 1974 I believe, they absolutely ripped the roof. If you want a more rocking Skynyrd song, checkout Give Me Back My Bullets, 38 Special. My all time favorite two songs by the boys is, Four Walls of Railford and The Ballad of Curtis Loew. Mr. Banker is another banger and Tuesday's Gone. There is an actual live concert by Lynyrd Skynyrd on RUclips from 1977, before their tragic plane crash where a good portion of the band died, including front man Ronnie Van Zant.
@@kheart7260 I specifically love the live version when the opened for The Rolling Stones, because there was one rule when opening for them and that was NO ONE was to walk down the stage to the part that was their logo. When those boys got going during Freebird, Johnny was like Steve, Gary and Allen get down here, NO ONE tells us nothing!
That song, like Freebird, is from their debut album. Every song on it is great. Check out the opening track from it, "I Ain't the One". I think y'all will like it. Great choice and reaction right here! Enjoyed watching it.
This was my fiancés favorite song, he made mr promise to play it at his funeral. I just didn’t know how soon that would be, it has a special meaning for me also, I can’t hear it without crying.
Thank you for enjoying and appreciating this music. I always loved “Simple Man”….it speaks to the heart. Sadly, most of this talented band was killed in a plan crash just when they were taking off.
🎸💯 Ronnie Vanzant was a really good Southern Rock vocalist! Lynyrd Skynyrd is a legendary band! They have so much cool music to dive into & you young guys seem to be intelligent & open-minded enough to want to really dig deep into this music from my youth! Y'all should also check out BOB SEGER, AC/DC, Allman Brothers, Jackson Brown, Eric Clapton, Cream, Creedance Clearwater Revival (CCR), Deep Purple, The Doobie Brothers, The Doors, The Eagles (Hotel California 🔥), Fleetwood Mac (the ENTIRE Rumours album!🔥), Foghat, Free, Jimi Hendrix, INXS (their entire KICK album), Janis Joplin, more Led Zeppelin, Living Colour (a black "alternative rock" band)🔥, lots more Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Metallica, Pink Floyd, a lot more Queen, REM, Santana ("Smooth" featuring Rob Thomas 🔥) Chris Stapleton, the Rolling Stones ("Beast of Burden", "Emotional Rescue, "Wild Horses"), U2, Stevie Ray Vaughan ("Texas Flood" live from El Mocambo 🔥) and Johnny & Edgar Winter. These bands offer a wide range of musical genres from the blues to "psychedelic" to wide open Rock n Roll! Remember: some artists are "pigeonholed" into 1 genre when THEY ARE in fact multi genre performers! Your best bet is to listen to a lot of stuff by an artist & then form your own opinion of what their music is to you! Music, all kinds of music, is the glue that can bring us all together! (All the people of this country & the rest of the world!) If we all stand together, we will be such a strong force that neither the media nor the politicians can bullshit us into trusting that they're being fair, honest OR transparent with us, their "employers" the common people! ⁉️ ☮❣🎶

I`m 64 now. Back in 1974, Lynyrd Skynyrd was the very first band I saw in concert. In New Orleans. I was 16 yrs. old.
Same tour in Houston, Charlie Daniels was the opening act.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Those who have gone before us will forever be etched in our memories. Never to be forgotten.
Ballad of Curtis Loew - Skynyrd Its a song about where they got their blues influence from. Even if you don't react, please listen to the song because it's powerful
100% agree
Absolutely love that song.
Everyone needs to hear this song💖
Right on. I called it Mr. Banker...but I ALWAYS forget the name of songs. That's definitely a great song.
My favorite song by Skynyrd
Yes!!!! Absolutely my favorite Skynyrd song!!!
Grew up listening to them. Always played this for my son when he was growing up. Great message for young men. You don't have to be wealthy money wise it's about you as a man being happy with yourself and your life. That's what makes you wealthy.
Every man’s anthem. Strong spirit and powerful emotions.
Hell yea This my favorite track all time. Always will love Lynyrd Skynyrd. What his mama told him was some sound advice. And she made sure to remind him “don’t forget son, there is someone up above”.
My son is 39 and this is his ring tone for me! I ALWAYS played this for him as a child and today he is an amazing man!
(R.I.P.) Ronnie Van Zant. One of a kind. Never wrote down a lyric: "If I need to write it down, it ain't no good" RVZ. This song is a masterpiece maybe even more than Freebird for me. It's a perfect song.
It's been remade alot over all the decade's.🤔🤔
💯👍
None of them even close to the original.
Yep this is better than freebird but freebird is an awesome tune👍
It's their best song and if I had to make a list of 5 songs in rock history to play this one would be in there.
A beautiful message from a mother to son... a great message for all young men today. Love your reactions
Every Skynyrd song tells a story of life.
I love their reactions to this song....I grew up with this type of music. .transcends race, culture...love it..💪❤
💯👍
Not only is the music perfect and the vocals unbelievable but the message that Skynyrd tells of a mother wanting her son to be happy and satisfied in life is something that the world needs in this day and time
I grew up down the road from these guys. Ronnie Van Zant never wrote down a lyric. He wrote the songs in his head and remembered them all. True story.
Some bands can bring a tear to your eye, that’s talent.
As a mom, this is all I want for my son. The song gets me every time. Shinedown also does a great cover of this song.
Shinedown has the best cover, IMO
💯 I have only 1 child and he is my whole world. I just hope he has a beautiful life and never experiences alot of the things I've had to
Having grown up with this song, it has morphed from being taught these principles as a child to passing these principles to my children, grand children and now my great-grand child.
👊👍✌❤😅
Danced to this with my son at his wedding. ❤ His dad passed a few months prior to the wedding and this was one of his favorite Skynyrd songs 😢
** You should watch a live performance of this **
If you like Southern rock, like Lynyrd Skynyrd, then you would probably like Credence Clearwater Revival, or CCR for short. They have a lot of hits, you've almost definitely heard one or two of their songs without realizing it
I used to sing this to my boys as a lullaby when they were young. They are 27 and 21 and both have grown into amazing men.
lynyrd skynyrd is the best band to ever be!!!! So many great songs in a short time!!!!
Just saying
Gimme back my Bullets!!!!!!!!!!
"The Ballad of Curtis Loew" and "Tuesday's Gone".
LOVE gimme back my bullets
I love Give me back my Bullets!
The Ballad of Curtis Lowe
The GOAT of drummers. No question. He was 62 years old when he did that solo. The bit at the end was a nod to the jazz music in the 50s, early 60s that inspired him as a kid. RIP to the GOAT!
Two guitars synchronized together. A sound that cannot be duplicated. Perfection personified
A Gibson and a Firebird
You should listen to a group called Shinedown. Their rendition of this great classic is AMAZING! Their lead singer has some crazy good vocals.
Gaines is married to van zants daughter ..they kept it in the family.
Best cover I’ve seen in concert!
Outstanding cover! I like it better than the original. There's so much more feeling in it.
@@mollymcsunshine has no soulful guitar solo but has more feeling??? chinese riddle right there.
When bands like Disturbed or Shinedown cover some of these classics it comes off pretty corny to me. Shinedown are a good band though but they’re a bit too edgy for their talent.
I graduated from high school in 1975. This was the music we listened to. I love that y'all can appreciate and enjoy it all these years later.
It's great to see how these songs from my youth can still move young people today. Simply good texts that never really get old. i love this song.
One of my favorite personal songs, simple, but truthful
Gentlemen I am a grandma and have boys of my own and if I could give them a piece of advice it would be this! I have loved watching your journey and look forward to more!
This is something a mother always wants for her boys. I have played this for both of my sons. This is a great song 🔥🔥🔥
When my daughter was pregnant with her son, she dedicated this song to him, because it, perfectly describes her son’s father, and what they want for him. I call it Wyatt’s song, and I can’t listen to it without thinking of my sweet grandson.
Your reaction to Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple man has made you guys my favorite RUclipsrs to watch. You guys are so awesome
We played this at my Dads funeral . You can feel this song in your soul
One of the best songs of all time
I love the message in the song. Shinedown’s version is dope too.☮️
I know you've already listened to Freebird but PLEASE do yourselves a favor and react the live version from 1977. Seeing them in action is a whole other ball game. They were PHENOMENAL. The guitar playing alone is mind blowing.
Play it pretty for Atlanta!
Awesome what you guys are doing to unite our cultures
The 1st guy, he knows his music. He really does. They doing something, baby you know it !!
Linkin Park is no comparison to Lynrd Skynrd. Not even close .... I wish I knew these guys names. This 1st guy has captured my heart ❤. He knows good music when he hears it.
Play it for your moms !!! Guaranteed they'll fall straight up in love with it. Because of you guys, your moms will love it !!
.
The one on the right?
I call him green eyes/cutie pie!!
He is a doll 💜✌️💜
This was the song for mother son dance at my oldest son's wedding
It's not country rock is called Southern Rock. This band is legendary throughout the 70's.
Keep it going boys! Music well unite us all. 🥃🇨🇦
It’s really great that you all are so excited about the music you are discovering! Keep the journey going and you will find music that you will never forget!
I grew up in the 70’s & this band was HUGE….if you’d had told me then that young black dudes would be digging them
I’d probably smile 😉 because they really are a GREAT band, you not only listened to their music you could feel that shit
My son and I danced ( mother/son dance) at his wedding to this❤ CLASSIC. I used to sing it and play it for him growing up
This is a hugely popular song with the rockers. The words are true and priceless.
I've heard this song probably a thousands of times, and it still gives me chills every time I hear it!
If they don't pause the songs to talk, the video will get blocked by RUclips.
If you don’t like them pausing, just go listen to the song...
it’s a reaction...you clicked on the video knowing they were going to REACT
The message is simple in this song but its powerful and everyone on the planet can relate to the knowledge he is preaching 💯
Lynyrd Skynyrd is always a great listen, with Simple Man being a damn great song. As for stuff you should check out you got to give Buckethead's Soothsayer a listen to some time.
This was our mother/son dance at my son's wedding. It meant a lot to both of us. Thanks for sharing!
Mine too 🕊️💗
Thanks guys, you make me smile.
Like ZZTop.
And the Allman Brothers , they started Southern Rock.
Ronnie VanZant was the greatest storyteller in music!!! the pictures he painted with lyrics was legendary.
The music of the early to mid 70’s had some of the most meaningful, understandable lyrics ever. They told a story.
We played this at my son's funeral. 11 yrs and it's still hard to listen too. But I do listen. I do for him. He played guitar and he loved this song.
this song makes me remember a lot of hard things, but a lot of good ones too. idk man this a different type of song that makes me feel sad and happy at the same time
it had been about ten years since I had been back to my hometown and like the last person I ever woulda expected pulled this song up and said "you wouldn't believe it...
but my dad told me"
"son there's nothing wrong with being a simple man"
music truly transcends
Greg Allman of "The Allman Brothers" is possibly the best vocalist in this genre, southern rock. Check out "Whipping Post" or anything they do live. One of the greatest bands of all time.
Agree! Greg Allman sounds like he had lived a thousand lives in Whipping Post.
I prefer RVZ. Greg is a great vocalist though.
I just commented the same thing!!! Love The Allman Bros and Whipping Post is one of my favs! 💙
@@suzannemurray8284 all you need is ears
Shinedown's version of this is my favorite. That guys voice is amazing.
My mom passed from cancer 2 years ago. She use to dedicate this song to me all the damn time. I miss her so much.
If you want to hear one of the best voices of all time, listen to Journey (Steve Perry). Check out Open Arms, Faithfully, or Lovin Touchin Squeezin (or anything, really)
FAAAAAAAACCCTTTTSSSSS!!!!
Can I please add Lou Graham of Foreigner as being a top vocalist?! 🎵🎶
Too poppy
I danced with my son to this at his wedding. Would you guys PLEASE do Pink Floyd!!! They are mostly quiet mellow but they are great. I am suggesting Hey You but they don't have a bad song. Dogs is great but it's a long one. Comfortably Numb is one of their most popular songs. Their guitar player, David Gilmour is one of the best to ever pick up a guitar and i think Dogs and Echoes really shows why. Love watching you guys
Absolutely this!! I think Mother would be a great Introduction song, but if they do Comfortably Numb, it has to be the Pulse version
@@solargarlic absolutely the pulse version. It should be everyone's introduction
Love this damn song. I can drop like 300+ rock songs lmao but it'd definitely be dope to see yall do more rock
I sang this to my son all the time. Now I sing it to my grandson. This is all a mom should want for her boy. And a simple kind of man is all a girl needs in a husband.
I cry every time I i hear this song. I danced with my Mom at my wedding to this song.
Shinedown does an awesome cover of this song. If you want to hear some of the best vocals you ever heard check that out!
❤️YAASSSSSS!!! Brent Smith’s voice is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
no they don't
Southern Rock at its finest
I LOVE this song ♡ so true btw.
Don't stress yourself too much over other things that honestly don't matter. Be a Simple Man
Lynyrd Skynyrd is classified as southern rock, like the Allman Brothers Band, 38 Special, Molly Hatchett and the like.
Yes please do the live version
Love every 1of them!! BTW great taste 👌
Enjoyed watching it.
so glad u found this fam 💯🐺🙏
This was my fiancés favorite song, he made mr promise to play it at his funeral. I just didn’t know how soon that would be, it has a special meaning for me also, I can’t hear it without crying.
My daughter decided to play me a very recent version of this song and was blown away when I started singing along!!
One of the greatest American Bands!!!
Thank you for enjoying and appreciating this music. I always loved “Simple Man”….it speaks to the heart. Sadly, most of this talented band was killed in a plan crash just when they were taking off.
It's a darn shame we lost these great musicians. Rip.....
Y’all literally GOATS. Yes do Mötley Crüe. Live Wire or A live version of ‘Kickstart My Heart’ (from back in the day) would be baller af
Yes
Yes
Shout at the Devil!
