      He overused the drop shot and has been getting burned on them. He has great touch but people have figured out some tells when he does it and he is losing a lot more of those points than if he just played the point from the baseline.

    • @SetsunaNyan001
      @SetsunaNyan001 11 месяцев назад +6

      @@igorstambak718Agreed he does overuse them sometimes. The dropshot in general is a double edged sword. I remember when he was serving for the match against Djokovic at Wimbledon, he missed a dropshot, and then immediately he did another dropshot, which worked. Alcaraz has so many weapons in his arsenal, it's just he should cut it down a bit and be very aware when to use his other weapons. With that said, much easier said than done, he's only 20 years old, he'll figure it out as he plays Djokovic, Sinner, Rune, Medvedev, etc.

    Lo.mejor de la nueva generación y lo mejor de la anterior. Técnicamente ambos estuvieron parejos. Sobre todo en el primer set. La cuestión física ya es algo q Richard obviamente es difícil batallar con alguien como Carlos. Pero Gasquet tiene un tenis fantástico. Un revés q después del de grigor y Roger es quizá el mejor. Despliegue inteligente de ambos. Me encanta lo de Richard q varios drops dejo pasar. Eso es dentro de todo inteligente en ciertos pasajes. Buen psrtido

    Gasquet does have an excellent game and I love the way he plays and his ball strikes, I'm not sure why he is not able to win or get over the hump, not connecting or where the error is far as him being amongst the top players somewhere in the bracket maybe idk.

      The reason Gasquet looses matches is his forehand, is so bad and ugly, is not effective and also lacks power, if he had a good forehand would have been number 1 of the world.
