Respect to Zidane from Real Madrid coach to top 20 in tennis
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
you stole my idea xDDDDD
😂😂😂
His career ended in football with the headbutt. What a success story in tennis though

Thumbnail fake out, excellently done
They trollin us 😂 and they don’t like Shelton
@@pepelipeau9628 so messed up I really thought he was coming back from 2-5
I'd rather see the two opponents on thumbnail
@@Saperlipopette777 yeah of course, tennis tv used to spoil winner also. Now they changed their thumbnails.
Exactly, I thought Shelton had won😂
This man won three 5 setters in a row...respect
He's a beast with very efficient groundstrokes
Inspite of quite an old age for a pro sportsman.
i think it was Tommy Robredo who won 4 five setters in a row at Roland Garros. That's what Mannarino hopes to achieve against Novak in Sunday's match up.
well that is about to come to an end too.
@@kalippan. That was 2013 I believe, when he won 3 five setters in a row coming back from 2 sets down. To my knowledge no player has achieved 4 consecutives five setters wins in slams yet, so he would be up for a record if he does it again on sunday... Which against Novak is hard to believe tho !
Glad to see players like Mannarino can still win in modern tennis - placement and brains over pure power
All of them place the ball retard
You mean Zinedin Zidane?😂
just power and nothing else on the other side..
@@djordjegranolic3588 Zinedina really knew about brains and placement... Right in the middle of the torso 😂

Mannarino was barely running...just redirecting and efficient. He has amazingly effective technique!
Reminds me of Seppi
brain game
This old man has some game. Kudos.
@@jejbk Here comes the cavemen and idiot theory, so Mannarino won because of brain. All the time Mannarino was losing I guess he was an idiot.
Well said, spot on !
it is insane how mannarino looks like a local club player but is a beast beneath it
Yeah nothing too fancy no logo on his outfit yet winning 3 5 setters in a row
exactly also looking like not playing fast but takin all the speed of the opponent@@Holyspace305
He's great.
Enjoying himself more than most :)
u must mean his stance, his stance is more closed so it looks like a beginners stance. but you'd be wrong to say he doesn't play fast because one of if not his best attribute is his speed and stamina around the court.@@lolollolol5654
I love Mannarino dude. The baldness, the long ass t shirt, the super compact swing, the fact that he doesn’t *look* like he’s in particularly amazing shape (I know he’s fit, maybe has something to do with the oversized t shirt)… I watch him play and I’m like “yo they let some random guy play in the Australian open… and he’s kicking ass.” It’s awesome I love it
Do you know what brand is his white shirt?
@@TennisOnAction he has this tee shirt because he don't have sponsors
@@zobzob6372 Probably some artengo or something lol I mean, they often have very tiny logos or none at all.
he doesnt have sponsors (i mean i didnt see one) and yh he's like an underdog smashin everyone 1 by 1, love it

as a French, I have to say I'm amazed to see all of you guys rooting for Adrian. I mean, the media here didn't do much for him, always behind Tsonga, Monfils and Gasquet for example. But reading all of your comments makes me realize he has much more love outside of our borders than inside. Nuff respect to all of you guys ;)
In general people like all the French players, they have different personalities and style for the game. I enjoy what France brings to the game.
Adrian is GOAT! You should be proud of him.
Weak era champ djokovic
Aussie guy here, I might not like mannarino's pusher style wouldn't be my first choice of match to go watch, but the guy is a boss. Over 35 years old, goes out there in oversized unsponsored shits which he plays in full of sweat for the whole match, and on top of that he doesn't look very athletic but gets the job done, 3 five setters in a row
after everything he's achieved as a footballer you guys still dont give him the respect as a tennis player, sad to read
Funniest part is seeing fans do the phone thing. Lmao 🤣
Mannarino forgot to slam the phone down on Shelton after winning.
He deleted his contact,.was admitted in the press conference
🤣🤣🤣👌
Best comment! 😅😂🤣
Yep! That was the best "celebration" at the US Open last year after his straight set exit-ticket :)
It's amazing he lives rent free in so many peoples heads
Mannarino, looks, dresses and plays like no one else on tour. He is so crafty out there and good under pressure. Probably a nightmare to play against. I actually really like the match up of him vs Novak this year.
You have no Idea what a nightmare it is…he’s true definition of the Wall.
He has won nothing guys, give it a rest. If you guys are this happy for Ben losing, then you guys need to get life, what bunch of haters.
@@ig6894I don’t really c Ben hate here? He just seems to like the opposing player.
@@ig6894 I like both players a lot ( i'm left-handed ; ), but being french i prefer that the Manna wins... and he's 35, he deserves some great matches before retirement ! : )
@@ig6894 Don't be so salty. Ben lost. It happens. A good lesson to him. He will return stronger.
Problem with Shelton is he is so full of himself. You always have to respect your rivals, even more when they are experienced and solid players like Mannarino. Humbleness and patience, that's the key.
I agree. But he's young, he's got time and talent, I hope he will take profit by learning fairplay.
@Saperlipopette777 I agree. His is like a little calf full of exuberance but which often comes across as arrogance.
He celebrates great shots and points. I see no disrespect there. By the way, I was cheering for Mannarino.
@@potzysk2 I'm a Shelton fan who realized Mannarino is a better option against Djokovic, so I wanted Mannarino to win too.
@@potzysk2 he also celebrates a lot when opponents miss/make mistakes, which is what tend to rub up people the wrong way.
Mannarino , The Zidane of tennis, no running, no body building, handling the game on its own terms . Very smart player.
Funny...Zidane was strong as a bull and running was not a problem, either.
@@jooohan He didn't run, he slid.
Mmh the Zidane of tennis would be number one but I get the idea. Maybe MacEnroe was that guy after all.
@@nalcow That was Wayne Gretzky...(the sliding part)
No body building haha good one. You should see the guy without his t-shirt, you'd understand how much time he spends in the gym. Which is pretty much the first thing he does in the morning after his green juice. And that's a fact.
Mannarino game 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥aging well like fine wine 👌🏾 🍷
The contrast of Shelton's reactions of breaking and getting broken are hilarious.
The real Goat of Tennis ♥
How can you not love Adrian Mannarino?
It’s amazing how far he has come in his career.
Boy been playing better lately. At 35 he is at his highest ever ranking (top 20).
No hair, no sponsor, crazy tension of the strings (10 KG) of the racket, Wilson grip on an old Babolat racket(current model only painted) plays with an old Babolad Pure Aero, now out of production. Realizing that he was on the edge, he even made a appeal on Twitter, asking if anyone had any frames to sell him, while his colleagues change racket with each ball change, he uses the same frame even in five-set matches.
The last brand to wear it was Italian Hydrogen, but for a couple of years he started wearing supermarket t-shirts again.
A series of oddities that make it unique.
Mannarino reminds me of a father of 3 children having fun and showing the world that anything is possible.

Baby Ben. Looks like Adrian cut the phone call short
Haha. Love it.
Hahahahhahajhahahahah best comment!
This phone call thing is attached with him like a 'leech' with suckers at both ends. He is getting rid of this for sure, as in the matches he won, he never did that expression. But then we need some more fun and some special personalities in this game to make it exciting. Right. The way he handled that question asked by some idiot in press conference, I would say - Ben is learning on how to conduct, and 'Mark My Words'- He will soon become 'Big Ben'. He has talent and only way from now on is - Improve and Rise, and He will become soon a ÇHAMP'.
@@sudhirbisht5577 he's pathetic
@lcb8883 No you guys are really pathetic, the same thing over and over, phone this, phone that, can you guys get a life, what a bunch of bullies.
Just love Mannarino and his no nonsense, workman like approach. Not to mention his home-made outfit. Lol
Mannarino reminds me of a tennis coach that's found himself in a grand slam. Grest match!!!!
Lol true
No calling for Shelton today, amazing job from Mannarino! 💪

Mannarino deserves respect. Talent and unorthodox....
His forehand is weird but SO effective.
@@positivelastaction3957Three 5 setters win. Incredible
5:52 that's amazing. "Mannarino finally winning one of the cat and mouse points". Mannarino is brilliant at cat and mouse points. its amazing to me that shelton was able to get the better of him so many times. Shelton really has an amazing sense and feel around the net. its such a shame his forehand just doesn't match up with what he brings to the table. amazing serve. amazing volleys. amazing athleticism and fitness. but he just doesn't have that oppressive heavy topspin forehand that can help him push his opponent back and open the way forward to net from a neutral rally position. anytime he has a little bit of time on the ball with his forehand, he just flattens it out. too many errors that way, and prevents him from leveraging one of the things that makes him special. but then again, when I see him make an effort to hit with more topspin, he ends up hitting these super slow loopy moonballs. I don't know if its a grip issue, or a technical issue...or just stupid shot selection, but he seems incapable of producing that mixture of heavy topspin and pace that all the best forehands seems capable of producing from a neutral rally position.
I swear I so happy for the underdogs who have been solid players and now reaping some real success….Mannarino, Dimitrov to name a couple
I thought he would beat Shelton
ATP tennis player no longer need to retire 28 anymore.
Dimitrov is no underdog...😂won the Masters. and many more
Dimitrov has been ranked as world No. 3 after winning the title at Nitto ATP Finals
Djokovic won plenty of fake slams in rafa's absence
Winning vs shelton with no sponsor and pure brain, good to see
People underestimate Mannarino. I have seen him in practice live. He is a very crafty player with excellent footwork and always hits the ball in the middle of the racquet. He won’t give a point away, you have to earn it with power and precision which means a lot of unforced errors will happen for the opponent if his game is not on. Mannarino almost beat Federer twice, once in Basel on Federer’s home turf and once at Wimbledon (Roger’s last Wimbledon) where he Mannarino got injured or else he had a great chance for a first round upset.
Dresses in what looks like practice apparel, hits like a club player, and takes out Shelton. Love to see it ❤
Mannarino is an underated genius
Sheltons on court antics easily make him most hated player on tour . The racquet flips , the “ come ons” and facial expressions , the phone thing , the arrogance , etc
Anyone else impressed af at mannarino's steam at this stage in his career?
i love watching Shelton’s showboat and hot dog tennis particularly when he’s defeated. It’s just a warm feeling..particularly when no one wants to embrace him at the net when it’s over. and whomever defeats him becomes my new favorite.🤷♀️
Weak era champ djokovic
If you follow Mannarino, he always dresses like some amateur from some street, that's why I love him 😃
Shelton after losses: Yeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss 🤩😛
2:45 that was HOT from Mannarino 🔥
BTW I like how Mannarino just looks like your uncle playing tennis on a Saturday in just a plain grey shirt and shorts, really cool.
I was thinking the same thing hahahaha
Mannarino is an incredibile player, i love his game
He hits on the rise so clean and the amount of pace he can redirect is beyond impressive. He's gone from someone you've heard of 5+ years ago to someone you want to wathc now. Well done!
Vamos Mannarino! Quite a feat, well done!
Shelton is great, I like him overall.
I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but his constant celebrating and screaming on court is so annoying.
I wanted mannarino to win but it’s just shelton’s style he it’s a mixture of Confidence and trying to intimidate your opponent and it works often and breaks down his opponents mental overtime. With more seasoned players it’s more to give himself a boost if anything and as he gets older the antics will likely fade
He celebrates the same amount as Alcaraz they just show his celebrations in the highlights because they are meant to be exciting. And nobody calls Alcaraz arrogant so why does Shelton get this hate. He also doesn’t throw away or break rackets
The stuffiness of tennis historically is outdated! And that’s the same in many sports like golf, traditionally a sport for the wealthy whites….thank goodness it’s changing. If it wasn’t for some of these brash players of today and the past, the sports wouldn’t generate the revenue that it does. From John McEnroe, Becker, Serena, Alcaraz, Shelton and definitely a few others, this sport wouldn’t have the amount of sponsors and fans. I like Shelton but definitely have no problems with Adrian winning, he will teach you many lessons….I’m sure Shelton has learned many, and was gracious in defeat.
@@TreytonBrown-os6xb because it's more subtle than that, and people can sense it. He acts really full of himself, there is an air of disrespect to the opponent in the way he comports himself on-court. And that is the difference between him and alcaraz
@@dominiccalzetti Yep, totally agree, he absolutely direspected Mannarino during the second set, and get punished for it !
Mannarino exposed Shelton's lack of...and cumbersome movement. He used Shelton's power against him with superior ball striking and anticipation. Shelton had no idea how to play him (except for brute power...again!) and was left utterly perplexed how Mannarino beat him. And, 15 years his senior. 👏👏👏
With Mannarino every point is a "cat and mouse" point. He managed to keep Shelton guessing, reacting and running in most of the rallies. He basically disharmed and gassed the big guy. Super high quality and smart tennis. Impressive.
Shelton is a show, he has a long way to go to be a great tennis player
Crowd in the end mocking phone call on his face made my day
Little troll
Shelton tried to call but no one picked up the phone 🤙
He is 35 now and he's getting better and better 💪🏻Perfect game
Mannarino hung up that phone real quick huh 😂😂
That mannarino slice in a slow motion is an absolute thing of a beauty 🔥🔥
Clean and simple game from Andrianno. Good hands and taking the ball early is very effective. Nice to watch him play his best at the age of 35.
Does he stand a chance against Novak?
I don't think so but strangest things has happened in tennis. For example Soderling beating Rafa in Paris.
Good luck. It d be great story if it happens.
Some Simon's ways ;)
I guess that against Novak, so good physically, who didn't paly 5-set thriller, there is really a very small chance of winning. I just hope that Adrian will play well.

Man I wish I had been able to watch that match! I didn't really follow Mannarino before the last couple years but I really enjoy watching him play. I'll be rooting for him and glad to see he got the victory ✌️ that was awesome
Mannarino just hung up the phone.
Came in here wanting Shelton to win, and left happy that Mannarino did lol
Amazing match!! Beautiful tennis by both players. Super close and a great match. Respect to both of them. Ben has such passion and joy for playing the game and is so fun to watch. Hopefully he will have a long career like Adrian! It’s just the beginning. Kudos to Adrian for still going at it and still getting great wins after a long, successful career.
he's a good player but too arrogant in his approach to be a great winner. But I'm convinced that if he cleans his acts, he can be a great champion. Novak, at his debut, lost a lot of energy by screaming and joking and so on. the cleaner he gets, the better he plays. shelton can follow the same path
Mental Level! Mannarino is a unique and dangerous customer. Very satisfying to watch him take on power hitters and humble them at their own game.
Mannarino and Medvedev has the weirdest a the funniest forehands:) Great job Adrianito!!!
Mannarinos forehand is sick. I love it
It’s like they both slap the ball when they hit it lol
Weak era champ djokovic
@Rafatruegoat25 meanwhile Nadal couldn't win even in that weak era 😭
So glad for Mannarino, great win for a great guy !
How does Mannarino make tennis look so EASY?!
Clean technique and low tension strings!
Yeah, it is so effortless on every strokes. Pure precision and placement.

His opponents suck 😁
Little boy learning humility 📞☎️
Mannarino is the iron man of tennis, 3 five set matches in a row. I dont' know he he will be able to stand on Saturday let alone face djokovic who can play Mannarino's game better than Mannarino can. I think Djok will win in 3 and one of those sets will be a bagel.
Thank you, Adrian, for cutting the phone call short ❤
Haven't seen a lot of mannarino matches, but bro wtf is that backhand😂 absolute savage, love it
That was almost as impressive as his goal against Bayern Leverkusen in 02 Champion´s League Final. Well done Zidane!!
One could see in Shelton's eyes that he thought he was going to win the match at 3/1 in the third set!
Shelton’s ARROGANCE is BROKEN …
Still so humble Shelton :) Every point won looks like he won a Grand Slam
Why are people do obsessed with being humble on a tennis court? Get over it....
He/she probably wont. i swear people getting weirder every day, analysing players handshakes and stuff like that.@@demondbrooks568
Hits a nice winner - then poses & yells at the top of his lungs, then does it again for good measure to make sure the editors have something "good" for the thumbnail and social posts... then proceeds to lose the match :)
@@demondbrooks568 there's a difference between being humble and being an absolute knob. Lots of people celebrate good points. They usually don't scream and do all that scene like this guys does. He's just obnoxious.
@@demondbrooks568 His celebration is just excessive. He earns a point on his service game (okay it’s a nice point) and makes tons of it. Unlike Kyrgios who celebrates him but does not make tons or then has a cool reaction
I always cheer for Mannarino . In a good day he can beat most players except Novak.
will se that on Round of 16(or Round 4)
not saying he will win, but Mannarino has a better chance vs Novak than that Brat Shelton
Djokovic should better retire
finally good thumbnail 🤣🤣
Another rollercoaster of a match with really dramatic swings in momentum from Ben. He won 9 of 11 games from the start of the second set up to 3-1 in the third set and was almost toying with Mannarino during that point, and then became too casual and barely hung on to eventually play a strong third-set tie-break. Afterwards, he never got back to that form, and just let Mannarino dictate too many of the points. It was a very entertaining match, especially the third set, but Shelton really needs to find some way of staying consistently near his best tennis during a match, as this was a wasted opportunity to face Djokovic once more, and that's when you learn the most about the weaknesses in your game.
This match is a prime example of why this sport is so great. Two totally different styles, different generations and yet second to none entertainment for people around the world! Great match to both men.
5:36 lmao. I think that the phone will follow Shelton forever. XD
Man's the silent beast of modern day tennis! Genius!
