Shame the grand slam and Olympics highlights couldn’t be included. Yes, Carlos is inconsistent but he was also injured a large portion of 2024. Benefit is that he is young and at 21 he can only improve. No other player currently on tour makes me excited to watch their matches, though at times it is like a rollercoaster I want to get off, than Carlos! Wishing Carlos success, health and a better 2025!

His coach is not helping him, I'm sure he can get a much better coach based on his style, Sampras/Federer style, someone who understand and supports the level of freedom he deploys, to get his level to the Max without repressing his talent (but at the same time decreasing the mistakes and risks of his style). They also seem to be lacking tactics and "rival studying"

Easier said than done. Reaching a higher level of consistency could be much more difficult than expected. Really Carlos has possessed talent & wisdom. Based on his attention to & interest in showing off his skill to the crowd (said by himself), he may focus more on how to exhibit his wonderful shot rather than the need of strategy & tactics at the crucial moment. Once Carlos pays much more attention to building up firm & solid consistency of ball control & tries his best to apply it to every each stroke, I do believe it's easy for him to surpass Sinner.

It was an interesting season. It was his best grand slam victory success year with two slams, but outside of those wins, he's had fairly average results overall, including missing most of the clay season with an elbow injury. Most of the time, he was nowhere near his best except for magical moments here and there. The best match he played from start to finish for a lengthy period was the Wimbledon final. And somehow he found just enough to find his best just in the nick of time when it really mattered against Sinner, when he was close to losing to him each time.
