Love the Thistle on the Christina Fahy's headstone. Such a sad story of those forgotten people of the Asylum's and Orphanage's, wish they were acknowledged more but I think Governments are ashamed of what happened in the past and just want to forget it all happened 🥀
Even the name asylum gives me chills, those poor little babies and children. Very beautiful but a sad cemetery RIP to all those unmarked and forgotten.
@@SerenitySueGraveyards absolutely, I would be in an asylum for sure , with some of thier reasons listed , I do feel for them though alot would be in there due to circumstance not because they were dangerous and those poor kiddies 😭

One of my biggest fears about dying is that eventually I'll be forgotten along with all the others who have died before me. That's why it's so special to read the gravestone names aloud; it brings these people back to us in a way and tells their souls they are remembered after all this time. Bless you 🙏🏼

Lovely to see someone is still caring for the Mange headstone. You can just see some remaining mould around the edges. Cemeteries and graves should not be neglected.

Jason is this the one you were telling me about ? as to the opening there was something but did not know ? -- 1:12 to me it sounds like a child doing the La La La teasing as kids do ? or like the La La La of several in a circle then picking who will be it ? ? as you pickup the camera

The amount of children that passed and we visit in these old cemeteries reminds us how good we have it and how sad it was and tough. Cheers
