I think the torna ending song is titled "white all around us". Also the way bosses/unique monsters die is similar.
The combat looks SO good. Better than I ever could have imagined. I love all the character designs, especially the "hero" characters. I'm so glad they can be put into the party whenever you want!
Its good, for a fan i guess. The combat seems messy for someone like me who wants to try the franchise.

The main reason I preferred 2’s gameplay was because of all the different blades and character combos you can use. I’m now looking forward to the gameplay and hope that there are more new characters hidden away

Hopefully Shulk and Rex along with their crew members are mentioned as legendary figures and aren’t forgotten by Nia and Mel.

The art for the Expansion Pass has huge implications with Monado REX and Pyra's Aegis Sword and with Expansion Pass bringing new Heroes it's highly likely that Shulk and Rex or Pyra/ Mythra will be playable via the expansion

My favorite thing is that the Expansion Pass really isn’t that intrusive, with the big stuff coming at the end of 2023

The thing i like with the full 6 team always battling, is that unlike other RPGs, it's never a question of who to leave out! It's either that you have to limit yourself because the ones you like are terrible combinations to use, or that one character you can't wait to bench...
So hyped for this game! Can’t wait! Each trailer makes it better and better

LoL I've almost cried on the trailer already. This is gonna be the best game ever. Xeno music are the best ever heard in thr gaming industry and the stories are always mind-blowing. My excitement level is completely out of control
The battle theme that played during the battle section is probably the second battle theme, since we have Keves Battle, that might be Agnus Battle.
As someone who has recently gotten into the series and still finishing up XC Definitive, I cannot believe how much better XC3 looks. The graphics are superior, and I love XC1. I was hoping to finish XC1 and XC2 before XC3 came out, but I did not anticipate how long and deep these stories go. Thanks for getting me into the series Roger! I can’t wait to get to XC3

It’s funny you say that about XC2. I’ve seen so many RUclipsrs and know people that say the exact same thing. I don’t think it’s controversial at all. Diehard fans of one just seem to be vocal. 2 is by far my fav overall as well.
I enjoyed 1 but 2 is one of my all time fav games ever. Battle system was way more satisfying as well. 1 had great music and some bangers but man 2’s music is on another level. Adam’s screams in 1 are insane tho
I seriously must be missing something because I can't figure out what about two is better than one I played 2 got about halfway in about the time the woman with the fire blade joins you and then got bored I then played the remastered version of 1 and understood why people love the xenoblade series so much so to me 1 is better than 2 and you can't blame nostalgia for that because I played it after 2

XENOBLADE WARRIORS YES PLEASE. Although I would also love to see how they would handle Mario and Kirby in a Warriors type of game. Also I wasn't too hyped about Xenoblade 3, but this direct has risen my interest very high.

youre right the artstyle and shading techniques are similar to skyward sword. this type of artstyle holds up better in the long run

Vandham being in this game doesn't really mean anything. Vandham is the Cid of the Xeno series he's in every game in one way or another. He was in Xenoblade X, Colonel Vangarre from Xenoblade 1 was just a mistranslated Vandham, of course there's Xenoblade 2's Vandham, and all three are based on Xenogears and Xenosaga's Vanderkam.
This games’s got some huge shoes the fill after xc2, hopefully it doesn’t fall short like XCX

It looks amazing but I hope there are some different looking landscapes from 1 and 2 also. And why changing classes if you got 2 healers, attacker, and tanks with you all the time? Just because of the Ouroboro think probably? For me Xenoblade 2 is the best as well. All are amazing but I just love 2 the most.

My last Xeno game was Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii (10 years ago), I have a lot to catch up lol, but first, I think I need to buy a Switch.
I'm glad i'm gonna have Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes to keep me busy until this releases...

@@RogersBase I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised as that doesn't sound anything like the plot of the movie, which is typical of games from that era to have almost nothing to do with the source.
You should check out Logan's Run. It's a classic, and I saw several ideas, and themes from it being used in Xenoblade 3.

To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if some of the voice lines were from late game scenes though, we just lack context. Sena was popping off, mio sounded so done being played a fool for not seeing how their lives were being treated, used, and carelessly discarded and disregarded. also the 10 year limit could also be a way for them to silence those beginning to question everything or second guess their nations' actions. By allowing and keeping soldiers young, they are easier to indotrinate, manipulate, control, and remain oblivious to the truth with a small number of exceptions. Either by choice or blind loyalty/naivette.

Meh. people around the world are struggling from the heat of a sunny day with no proper roof on their heads, with low paying jobs, and then this guy, etika, who has a lot of followers and money, sitting on his air conditioned room, decided to end it all. i know its not all about money, but he is still a privileged guy. millions of people wants that life. i loved him and his videos, but im very disappointed in him.

Based on the trailer scenes and the dialogue, the living beings are "grown" in pods until they look about 9-10 years old. Once they are released from their pods, that is when their 10 year life cycle starts.
Official info says they are all in their late teens like 18 and 19

I personally don't like Xenoblade 2 as much as the other two, but the series is amazing, and 3 looks like Xenoblade 2, but fixing a lot of the issues I had with it. (Torna is also the best in the series)
I'm replaying 1, and still find it to be better than 2. I put 300+ hours into 2 and loved every second of it. I feel like this game will have the customization of 2, world of X, and story of 1. It will top them all.
Xenoblade 2 had a great story but for me what ruined it is the waifu booba gacha and all the boring fetch quest with dumb Item RNG
The character design,story,visuals,gameplay,scope of the world we see in 3 soo far seems to surpass all aspects of 2.
As someone who was mixed on 2 this direct for 3 is really reassuring

I've never understood what makes Xenoblade as a game franchise so revered by many. I mean, don't get me wrong, its one of the most JRPG centric franchises that Nintendo has to offer, and I'm happy for the fans, I just can't get into the series.

Ok, at the rate these comments are going, I should've phrased that differently lol. What I mean is that as much as I would like to try out the game, the best I can do is watch it from the sidelines. Like I said, I could tell a long time ago that Xenoblade was/is an awesome JRPG franchise.
It's just that I didn't grow up playing with the series to understand why it's so revered. The best that I know about it is that it's developed by MonolithSoft, the same top-tier developers that co-developed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which speaks astronomical volumes of their talent. Anyway, I hope that it winds up being a highly successful franchise for Nintendo, because it seems to be a love story to JRPGS.
