Hi Bruce , as a volunteer fire fighter I would recommend you always carry a fire extinguisher. It’s too late looking every where for the extinguisher we you really need it.
You are 100% correct Peter. We usually carry I think it’s a 9? or 12kg? Fire extinguisher that I think is a powder type one. I should have included it in this. Thanks so much for your input. I’m actually going to try to pin your comment to the top if I can so everyone sees this.
You're becoming increasingly more relaxed and confident on the videos Bruce, great to see the progression and hope your fantastic channel continues to grow apace. Good to see your recovery from the op going well too.
Hey Bruce I wanted to point out on the torch head with the auto ignition there is a button that you can press after you light the fire that will keep it on and running. It's the little round metal button right above the yellow flame trigger.
Bruce! Your burnzomatic ts4000/8000 there has a trigger lock! The little metal button on the top of the housing, in front of the gas tube, push that down with the trigger pulled and it’ll lock on. PS and thanks for all the tips and tricks, and for sharing your process!

Excellent video Bruce, keep up the great work, love your video’s, well done🤩🇦🇺Hi Bruce, just a thought, have you ever considered using an old re purposed small size LPG cylinder for a transportable air sauce. Pump compressed air into this cylinder, using a quick release valve to attach any compressed air device you want. Your thoughts…🧐🇦🇺
Glad to see you back Bruce.I was wondering where you were my friend. What a wonderful video I was wondering myself. What some of this stuff was. Glad to see you back.My friend can't wait for another video of you trying to start something else up and trying to get it going. A good illustration, Bruce, of the scale of "stuff" needed to do jobs like these! I similarly find the same thing when doing even simple household renovations / repairs / etc! At the end of the job, there's always a mountain of tools and equipment to put away! Thanks again for your videos and keep up the good work. (Greetings from England)
For your fuel jigger you can put a shut off style valve on the other end where the fuel goes into the fuel tank you are filling might make things a little easier. When I was helping out on New Zealand Stockcars that's what we used to fuel the car up with a little bit of hose to go into the tank too. Love your work and I am always learning something new from you Bruce.
Glad to see you are recovering from surgery. I also work on equipment for a living in the United States and it's interesting to see that our tool kits to go out working on the road are all very similar. It's always nice to see other tradesman explain their different tricks.
Hey Bruce, that mapp gas torch, if you pull the trigger and light it then turn the yellow knob it will lock the trigger and you won't have to hold the button.
Thanks Matty, a few others have said the same which is a good suggestion the only worry is towing it through wet paddocks with no bottom. I agree though it could be viable
Bruce I love your videos! You remind me of my Grandpa who grew up on the farm in Corrigin WA 🇦🇺. He’s 87 this year and has worked on farm equipment all his life!
I find for quickly tying up electrical cords or bundling objects together that a good product is Velcro One Wrap tape. It is a single reusable tape which binds to itself, so you only need to wrap it around any size object and it will keep it bundled together. You can cut it to any size, so you can wrap a 10 cm length a few times around a few wires, or you can wrap a 2 metre length a few times around a bundle of timber posts to keep them together.
Nice one Bruce. I'm sure anybody who has done field work or has worked as a labourer that works on different sites can appreciate this. There's nothing worse than getting out on site and you don't have the gear to do your job or get something fixed. Cheers 👍
