In the mid 60's I saw the Red Knight perform at CFB Namao airshows. The pilot flew so low, and so close, you could see up into the cockpit. We kids loved this because the wing tank would dispense cards with a great picture of the plane and information all about it. Just after the plane had burned past at 300 knots (alt 10 feet) there would be a mad rush of airplane geeks each scrambling for a card. In comparison, airshows today are very tame.
The reason the F-80C runs out of "WEP" is because the system that the WEP represents is the injection of a water-alcohol mix into the engine for increased thrust. On the F-80C, the solution is stored in two 30 gal. tanks which last for a total of 100 seconds. A few other jets use the same system (on the F9F it lasts for 30 seconds, iirc, not sure about any others).
@@CptToastman damn must be cool having this fancy stuff. I use shitty Logitech flight stick and that's all, still enjoying it tho. Since I'm here again for some reason, do you like the C variant of F-80 more so than A? in sb specifically
The F-80 can run out of WEP because that extra thrust was obtained using a water injection instead of injecting more fuel to the engines. I guess that water injection provides about a 20% more thrust than when you fly at the 100%
It would appear Gaijin used the same jet engine sound bite for every jet. // Probably because other than bombing, no one on your team is doing anything useful.
"If I was spaded, I wouldn't have any problems catching this dude"
Toastman, not having much problems catching this dude

7:23 don't you know that when you run out of bullets YOU become the bullet. Thats an unwritten law. Should have got him there.
Love the Canadian roundel on that plane.
cool vid, good skill, what binds you use for looking around? head tracking?
Hi bud, I use a head tracking device called TrackIR :). I have an old vid here about view controls. ruclips.net/video/iWOIh8AZ4vY/видео.html

Have you noticed much of a difference economy wise since the release of the rank based economy? Better, worse, same?
Not yet bud, only had a few games. cheers
Damm you run this on 8gb ram
I need to update my description, I have 24 now :)
Is that what they made the jet engines sound like now? Gross. Great vid btw
cheers, some engines are better than others. :)
Yeah, F100 Super Saber's cockpit engine sounds like the V Wing from Star Wars Battlefront 2.
