Pretty cool, that's exactly what helps me hone my English, I'm pretty fed up with English learning channels addressing only absolute beginners. 😘

    I am always grateful to you for broadening my horizons with your excellent expressions especially in the delicate nuances among similar meanings
    I appreciate your efforts in preparing this video
    And last but not least I have one suggestion that you compare the very basic verbs such as have get take etc seemingly looking in the similar boundaries of meanings, utilizing prepositions with them

    • @EnglishEvolution
      @EnglishEvolution  Месяц назад

      @@haeun12 interesting idea! You mean collocations with "get have take" right? Just in more detail than they are usually presented?

    • @haeun12
      @haeun12 Месяц назад

      @@EnglishEvolution yeah you are right but I think you can go to far beyond the simple comparison of the collocations to the extent of what nuances would be made different depending on which verbs are used
      For example, as a foreigner and learner in studying English as the second language I always felt confused when I speak or write etc about what kind of verbs or collocations I should use in certain situations take? Get? Make? Have? let? Do? Cause? Etc
      Am I allowed to write this sentence “I will make you feel happy” or “I will let you feel happy”, “I will take you out” or “I will get you out” etc

      It's bad grammar that has evolved into a type of slang. It means is not/are not/was not/were not. My personal feeling is that non-native speakers should avoid slang until really immersing themselves in the culture to understand the nuances of usage.
