This is really cool. If that suppressor has the usual 19mm ID then you could probably stick the Worker rifled muzzle piece underneath, attached to the end of the 9/16 brass if it protruded 10mm or so. Another thought I had was to drill holes through the ball storage at the front and glue some short pieces of 17/32 to store a couple of spare darts.
WS7 Awesome mod guide. This is freakin cool. Great work sir as always. Thanks for putting in the time and hard work to make this for us. Keep doing what you're doing.
So a interesting thing to note. The mechanism that forces you to return the priming bar to the starting position can be removed without affecting any other systems. It simply was the orange bar with the white peg and spring, as well as white rubber cushion and the other orange piece that like to fly away when you take it apart. (Bote all of these pieces are what makes the gun hard to put back together when finished.
Dude, this is brilliant! I've been waiting to get my hands on one of these, with the intent of building an RSCB/In-line Magazine into it. Now I may need to get more than one.
Had a suggestion for the breach. Modify the lever so that when you're holding it the breach is open and when you release it closes. One handed breech operation will help with efficiency and speed
@@oopsInc777 is it really or did you just not think it through all the way? Helpful hint; it's been done before in real firearms, and can easily be adapted here. Think, man.

It still takes 5 steps to load each time you want to fire it (pop, drop, shut, pull, push), but the increased power you got is impressive. Though i think the front barrel extension you put on it looks a bit goofy imo, especially when the breach is open. If it were me, id probably just keep it a short pistol
First mod i did was this, didnt have brass but did have pvc that was about right. Neat thing is i accidentally made it an RSCB, it can hold 2 darts and fires only one, which i think is so rad. Thanks for the idea man!
Alternately you could modify the round storage to have a little laser sight in it, maybe? Fill out the sides, cut down the inside, put some little batteries in with a laser?
This has upped the knockout on my blaster-to-buy list. For an easier talonfed version, maybe make the mag come out the top revreaper style? Would look pretty weird though
Craft a simple hpper that slides onto the rail, and hangs over the breach area. Then gravity feeds the next dart after you open the breach. That would turn this into a higher capacity blaster.
I just bought two of these today at Best buy and plan to leave one stock that my seven-year-old will have and also use as a reference but with mine I think I'm going to converted to shoot .177 BBs . I am also going to be taking a ton of stuff off of it and molding things using a plastic welder, CA glue, Kitty hair and stippling. I am going to be removing the trigger lock, the entire area that holds the two extra rival balls, removing the entire Picatinny rail on top but mounting an extra set of Ameriglow night sites that I have . I may even try and reduce the grip, but won't know until I open it all up this weekend. Then will paint it all Black Duracoat with very small red highlights. I am very OCD and detail oriented plus. Something custom, cheap, fun and satisfying for a 45 year old to do on cold winter days inside.
I thought this thing was gonna be completly useless but then a guy in my group did this mod and the two times i have seen him since i couldnt put the thing down. Went out and bought the blaster this morning. Gonna be moding it at our black friday mod party.
Thanks for the video, the blaster looks as great as it shoots! The day you posted your review of the Knockout I saw one at Walmart. I'm 5'4" with small hands and this grip is just too huge, it feels larger than the grip on my Apollo or Helios, so its a no go for me.
This is the first blaster I'm actually going to buy and try to build. Also dude please get a vice or vice grips for when you use a cutoff wheel or anything sharp. The wheel catching and jumping is sketchy, especially when your hand is directly underneath. I've been cut in the hand and face from small and large cut off wheels catching and jumping and brass being softer than steel means it'll jump around even worse with even the smallest movements
I was already going to buy two Knockouts, I might as well spend ~$30 for two more that can shoot half-length darts Have you had a chance to find out the optimal barrel length for this?
I would personally avoid the AK 18kg spring for the Knockout because it does not fit the plunger system as they send you a Kronos spring, and if you do manage to shoehorn it in there, it will be ridiculous to prime and very hard to get it to catch. My suggestion would be to get a K25 spring and cut it half a coil shorter than the original spring, on a 8-9" barrel, this is achieving 200+ fps, but is a very solid prime. Also note that drilling the top of the plunger system to get to the screw that holds the plunger together so you can fit the spring in, will take away any of the last remaining plunger seal...
Now to mod the ball storage area. Maybe remove it for a sleeker looker, or put in a laser or flashlight. Really cool! I hope to find one soon and try my own brass breach to go with my half length Alpha Trooper and CEDA. Or maybe pair with with a Dart Zone Pro whenever that arrives!
I think it would be awesome if you added a 3d printed grip extension (or even a bumper style grip extension made out of EVA foam) to the bottom of the grip so that when the priming handle is in it's closed position there was no perceivable gap. It would just finish off the aesthetics really well.
Incredible mod. Sick idea, awesome execution. One question, and I apologize if you already answered this elsewhere - Bro, that faux silencer though ... Who did you buy that from? Because they need to shut up and take my money.
