The melody is actually a very old pagan lullaby. It’s not an original created by them. It’s very sad if the original author will never get credit for this. My grandmother used to hmmm this melody to me as a child. She did not know the lyrics because it was sung to her by her grandmother, in Latin. When twilight first came out, I was In shock to hear this melody again for the first time in YEARS! Only on the big screen this time. The lyrics are not familiar to me. And maybe they heard the melody and added lyrics to it. But this is a very old old melody. I wish I knew how to find the information so That credit Could be given to the original author. Whoever that is. Beautiful song though

I think you may have tweaked it a bit perhaps to make it “yours” but it’s not an original by the two of you and this makes me sad the original melody maybe claimed by you guys and the real author may never get the credit. 🥺

These honest comments about someone overlooking their distaste for a story to appreciate the music that came out of it deserve to be ridiculed? Why do you believe this?
I find it strange for them to talk about sacrifice ( and the lyric about the lion and the lamb - which originated as a biblical theme ) but not attribute any of it to Jesus. Why are they completely ignoring the theme that is literally taken from the Bible lol. And then they talk about giving up the soul. It’s just a perversion of something that existed before- and that something was pure , giving your life to Jesus will save you. So idk I recommend anyone reading this to seek the Lord and stray away from the way the world taints things
