BMWs really are something else. My X3 is almost 10 years old now and no other car feels so confident and effortless to drive. I can only imagine what this one feels like. Tad over-engineered, but absolute blast.

It's one thing to be inspired, but another altogether to pull off something similar (perhaps better) to some great car review videos produced by the West. Watching this, I remembered Henry Catchpole reviewing the great BMW M5 CS for Carfection in the beautiful winding roads of Scotland. I was equally awestruck by this one. Right from the location, roads, time of day & camera placements - team PD got it all right. Talking of camera placements, the one on the windshield facing Karan was akin to watching Henry pound that M5 CS around the Scottish Isles in Carfection. That filtering light of the evening Sun set lighting Karan's face while he winds down the road was significant too. Apt enough to end it with M340i's headlights turned on in the dark, to signify that it truly is perhaps the last shining light in the all encompassing darkness. Beautiful! So much thought went into the editing & story telling, including playing with the M340i's blazing red getting lost in the Black & White to show the inevitable change of time. Brilliant, in fact - Epic!
