      I'm on the same situation...a cube has been on my desk for almost a year and I tried everyday to advance a little....but never could complete all sides....

      razor_sharp Well there is two diffrent ways you can solve it. Begginers Method and CFOP. I am learning CFOP right know and it bassicly is just the Biggers method but you do things at the same time. Example in the Begginers Method first you match up a white cross and then add the corners using some algs. Then you solve the second layer using some more simple algs. IN CFOP you do the corners and second layer at the same time. then you orient and solve the top yellow layer

    When you talk about using the Reduction Method, breaking it down to 3x3 cubes, that reminds me of how to solve polyalphabetic ciphers. you break them down into a number of monoalphabetic ciphers and then solve each one.

    I've solved cubes up to 7x7x7 but I doubt very much I could solve this without either modifying my method or practising a lot more. That's because at some stage during the solve I would definitely make a mistake and have to start again.

      Waffle Naut technically, it is a 3x3x3. a 3x3 would be infinitely thin so would probably be invisible from most angles

    I can do the same by reversing the video on Adobe aftereffect. Start from solved cube then record yourself doing random movements for fee minutes. Take the recorded video to any video editor software and revers it. It will look like you’re solving the cube :)
