It would cool if there was a scavenger hunt for cubers made with the treasure chest cube. There could be hints in each messed up cube to lead you to the last cube, with the prize.
lol... the first thing i do after unboxing a cube is scramble it so that I don't worry myself sick about trying to learn the moves of from a solved cube. Seriously, getting over that fear took some doing
12-12-2015. Cuboids: I'm a stranger in a strange land, but it's very entertaining. If only I had lots and lots of time, and youth, and more patience. ---- Oh, yah, and intelligence.
The gear shift is definitely my favorite puzzle at the moment, and I just got it yesterday! It's so fun to work with the gears, and even though I pinch myself sometimes, is just so satisfying to turn. :)
Cubeversal How does your pyraminx crystal time even come close to your mirror block time? The mirror block only takes me about 5 minutes while the pyraminx crystal can take me an hour.
I WANT ALL OF THEM Jeez, my college dorm will have a 4 tower PC, around 30 graphing calculators (for programming, who said school?), arduino/pi boards, random IC chips and stuff, and about 100 rubiks cubes and random cube parts for building. Don't forget the Knex and Lego Mindstorms!
Great selection. I totally agree with your criteria of selecting the top cubes. I generally don't like gear based cubes, but that number 2 on your list looks pretty neat. And super tough!
I'm not really a "cuber" as I can only solve a Rubik's 3x3 (my best time is 1:30, which is terrible), a Rubik's 2x2 using 3x3 algorithms, and a Quad Cube of 2x2s (I actually learned that one myself). After watching your video of the Gear Ball a while back, I kind of wanted it because it looked cool and pretty easy, and the fact that it made your top 5 finally persuaded me to get it. I'm sure that everything else on the list is way out of my league, but I'm pretty excited to get the Gear Ball. :3
The mech is based on the Shengshou Wind, which is a super airy puzzle. Not much corner cutting but it's worth owning in my opinion. Feels good to operate.
Every puzzle is more fun and easier to enjoy when it turns well! A lot of people dislike specific puzzles because there version doesn't turn turn well. I hated 4x4 because I used a rubiks 4x4.
My Shengshou Mirror cube is a favorite. It turns so well and because of the pieces Da Yan2 style pieces it is almost a speed cube. Out side of that my top 3: 3 Axis Cube: it's a great shape shifter but a little time consuming to solve. It is really the ultimate super cube; every piece has to be orientated correctly. I have a couple of approaches but it is really easy to lose your self and your place in the solve. However the amazing spiky crystal shape you can make as the "checker board" move is worth the price of admission, alone. 2. The Fisher Cube: I just got this a couple of weeks ago and I really can't put this down. It was a long wait for me to find a black one and Mefferts finally got one in. The Fisher cube is a fun shape shifter because when it is mixed up, it looks pretty bad. But knowing your algorithms makes the solve go by quick and when you are cubing in public this cube looks damn impressive over a rubiks any day. Another feature is that there are two distinct challenges; the easy way is solving it regular with the white or yellow side up. But to make it really interesting, solve it from the edge up. Playing with this cube can better prepare you to take on the Axis Cube. There are moves you learn in the Fisher which will help you on your solves for the Axis. 1. And my number one cube, the Square 2: I love this thing mostly for the really cool patterns and shapes you can make with it. In one turn you get a deformed cube and from there it get's really creative. For some people this is a really hard cube. I came up with a solve that makes this a pretty fast cube to solve. Like me new Fisher cube, the Square 2 is a real easy pick up and go cube for me. Well there you go Ken...my favorite cubes. Really great video you posted. I will admit, I was surprised to see the mix-up cube make it to your top five since in one of your past videos you expressed significant problems with it.

I just got a gear ball, and I had a puzzle that seemed like a Siamese cube but wasnt
I like the mirror blocks cube because it is really fun to solve when you get bored with regular 3x3 and it is also fun to see the expressions on your friends' faces. You should get the shengshou mirror cube because it turns like magic; you could spin it with one finger because the edge pieces are like a guhong and it has an added challenge by having different grains on the stickers and you have to line up the center pieces. I got one on amazon for around $3 and it is awesome.
Out of the 5 puzzles i have haha if i had to out them in order, i would have to do this order 1. ShengShou 3x3 2.Shengshou 5x5 3.ShengsShou 2x2 4.Calvins 3x3x2 5.ShengShou 4x4
the rubix cubes i currently have is 2 by 2, 3 by 3, 4 by 4, 5 by 5, mirror cube, pyraminx, skewb, fisher cube, square one and the megaminx. the ones i didnt solve yet is the square one, megaminx and 5 by 5
I know this is a pretty old vid but my favorite puzzles are the X2, 2x2x4, 2x2 ghost cube, 3x3x5 just like you, and the redi cube, but not in any particular order
3x3x3 Rubik's cube is my favorite because I don't have the other ones :D
If you want some cool different cubes for a good price use lightake. I just ordered 5 cubes and the code PARADOXCUBING for 10% off.

Awesome!!!
DiscreetAthlete yeah i mean easter is coming up instead of making eggs just buy tons of treasure cubes a cubers dream
Shane Wild A really expensive cubers dream.
Best idea ever!
Genius
It is called the ghost cube because most people are dead before they can solve it...
It IS hard tho. It took me 4 days to learn how
EpicBullet92 lol
Lol
😂😂😂
@RockyBronky , I solved it myself , without Any tutorials , I figured how to solve it in 1 day i am not dead
lol So I'm a total Rubik's newbie, but I wanted to say that your videos inspired me to finally learn how to solve the 3x3. Thank you :)

@@skullcrushers1000 too bad bro, I've been wondering about that
I am always like "NO! Don't turn that cube! You don't remember how to get it back!!!!"
That's me. Probably because I know I'll eventually throw it out a window or something XD
I have that fear when I'm going to visit my cousin and I know it'll be boring so I have no choice but to NOT bring it :(
you just described me.
Lol

I was going to buy some Rubik's cubes and I couldn't decide on what I should get. So I watched this and it helped me decide! great vid
Hi (sorry for bad English)
wow
you English is fine.
+CDR Simmons He was making a joke about those people
+Game Player You missed your full stop you should be ashamed.
+Game Player DUDE, thats so bad, you forgot the dot at the end.
My big bro randomly bought me a (normal) Rubik's cube and I've been hooked on it ever since. I love his sense of style ;)
why no love for the ghost cube?

4. Pyraminx
3. 4x4
2. megaminx
1. Zhanchi 3x3
You have a twin brother? Is he an identical one? Put him in a video instead of you, and see if we notice it's not you haha...
he probably will solve cubes exactly like you lol
cwuzii you may have seen it but you can see his brother in his april fools prank video
My favorite is the original 3x3x3 cube. Simple, fun, cute, whats not to love?
The turning
skim shady lubricate it and it works like a charm... or get an alternate 3x3x3 that cuts corners better

Those cubes move really smoothly
That's... that's not a cube.
+SuffuFFaffiss Technically, it is. It's technically just pillowed, and pillowed cubes are *still* cubes.
+SuffuFFaffiss It's spherical! SPHERICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt Del Rosso Well then, in that case, is pillowed to the point where it's no longer a cube shape!
+Chris You didn't get the Drake and Josh reference
oh.
You should try some Bermuda cubes! They can get incredibly difficult, and I'm certain you would like solving it.
Even though it's just a Rubik's cube it's really hard to solve. Just a Rubik's cube? JUST A RUBIK'S CUBE?!?!

The gearshift thing on the honorable mention looks the coolest and the easiest
Simoun Gagan do u enjoy solving gear shift?
2:50 - Jumbling????? It's supposed to be called shapeshifting!
Jumbling is different than shapeshifting. Shapeshifting is for cuboids.
-_- Shape-shifting is when a puzzle has a different shape when scrambled than solved. Jumbling is when a piece of a puzzle swaps with a different kind of piece (eg, a corner swapping with an edge)
