Question: How and what do you do when dealing with the tread patterns on walkways and roofs of larger boats. Especially heavily chalked / oxidated ones. Im thinking you wouldn't sand, but then using a Rotary Wool Pad would be very hard to get into all the gaps. I look forward to your reply and huge thank you for you channel. I've bought up on all your recommended products and giving them a try next week. Cheers Shaun
Drake. Happy New Year from Boston! Been following you well before the move to CA & back. Have you tried ceramic coating a boat yet? Curious your thoughts.
Happy new year! Yes, I’ve coated lots of boats! It’s a lot more prep that’s involved than just doing a regular sealant, however, it’s well worth it because it protects the surface for a lot longer time and is a lot easier to wash the boat with it being coated.
Greetings from Puerto Rico many blessings for you and your family I ask you a question what is the product you use for mold and for when the Gelcoat turns yellow
If it’s in the nonskid, sometimes I will use a little bit of diluted bleach. Do you have to be careful though, bleach can etch gelcoat if you are not careful. However, it is effective. If it’s on a smooth part of the gel, a lot of times I’ll just use a general decreasing detergent or sometimes when I do my initial Dawn wash it will come off.
Do you mind making a comparison between the tools, chemicals, compounds and other supplies needed for boat detailing, as compared to auto detailing? Thanks!
Love your videos as always man. I'm trying to find a protection that will last 6+ months on a boat that's in a marina in and is used in salt water, any recommendations on what i can use? cheers.
Yes! I actually developed a salt water resistant wax that will be released in January! We are getting 6 - 8 months for boats stored indoors! You can be the first to know by signing up here : www.shoprevivalmarinecare.com/password
No that’s about right, I would try more down pressure and moving your arms alittle slower. It’s hard for me to really say what todo with out seeing you buff a spot 🤘
Glad you're back. I need the Revival Rust Stain Remover. The website is not working. Also, what product did you use on the seats. It's not listed in the description. Thanks. 🫡

Hey bro, I don’t do any auto detailing so I don’t really have the products to compare it with, but will try my best one day!
Guess I need to move to Florida so I can learn how to improve my detailing skills :)

And what cleaner do you use for the rust? Thank you!
Never mind, I found what cleaner you use. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
I'm having some trouble getting my sanding scratches from the 1000 grit completely out with the heavy cut. Any recommendations?
You’ll probably need to run your machine faster and apply more pressure
@DrakesDetailing I've got the same makita as you, so faster then 3 or 4?
No that’s about right, I would try more down pressure and moving your arms alittle slower. It’s hard for me to really say what todo with out seeing you buff a spot 🤘
Try going up to 2000. It will be easier to polish out.
@@PolishedMobileDetailing503 yea that too 🤘
How much do you charge per foot?
This job was $65 a ft
@@DrakesDetailingthank you!
Love the videos BTW!
Are you ever in the metro atl area? I have a 36 ft pocket yacht that needs love.
What’s your opinion on daddy o compared to jescar?
I actually like daddy o better
@ same!
Daddy o is way stronger. It soaks into the gel coat. Easy wipe off. Great stuff
Your arms have to be rubber bands by the end of the day, excellent work guys 👍😁
After 10 years you get used to it haha 😆

Yeah, I was looking for the same shit lol
It’s a product that I am currently developing! It should be released in about 6 weeks! 🤘
@@DrakesDetailing And the seat product??
@ I think I forgot to mention in the video but we washed with soap in the initial wash and apply 303 at the end
@@DrakesDetailing That's my question. What's 303?? It's not in the description. I would like to buy it.
