In The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig) accepts an invitation to surreptitiously investigate a forty year old unsolved murder on behalf of the victim's uncle, Swedish industrialist Henrik Vanger (Plummer). Meanwhile, tattooed hacker Lisbeth Salander (Mara), hired to investigate Blomkvist, discovers the truth behind the conspiracy that led to his fall from grace. Thrown together by fate, the unlikely duo uncovers a secret history of murder and sexual abuse festering beneath the veneer of Sweden's industrial past, all the while drawing close to a quiet evil waiting to engulf them both.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is out on Blu-ray and DVD April 23rd

This film was phenomenal.

Unfortunately, Rooney Mara--who played Lisbeth--has said that the main trouble right now is both scheduling and the script (apparently, there has been more than twenty drafts written for the script but Fincher is "still trying to decide"). Mara also said that she feels a sequel is "unlikely" but would love to play the character again...I hope they figure something out, and I hope David Fincher comes back to direct it.
Their is a sequel out this year 2018 The Girl in the Spider's Web, their will be a new cast and director.
We never did get that Fincher schedule, did we?
@@shookone568 I think it was the cost. The earning of the Fincher's films usually do not cover the costs unfortunately.
How can he look perfectly handsome here (while in the process of shooting Skyfall) and look 10 years older in the actual movie Skyfall? Whoever did his make up in that movie should be fired...

He looked great in skyfall too, and in some scenes they actually aged him to have a depressed/tired look when he was in retirement away from his job as an agent.
Such an awesome actor! I wish they had made the girl in the spiders web with Rooney Mara. The movie just wasn't the same in my opinion

AN ACTOR VERY VERY SWEET 🎉
What a wooden and dull interview. Daniel struggles to speak honestly about Rooney. I note there are few interviews with the two of them together. I feel there is no chemistry/relationship between them BUT their acting, on screen, is bloody brilliant. The movie is too and I sat glued to the screen (beside the unmentionable scenes).
One of the biggest failures of the movie industry was to recast those two for the subsequent movie. Quite terrible and full of computer graphics. One of the best examples of failing to see the forest because of the trees.

Pesnsando bem vou ver o livro qeu fiz pra ver se foi bom, foi depois de 2008. Vc deveria usar datas pra me ajudar a sair da cidade ou ter alguem, eles transferiram os numeros por um motivo cientifico e outro comum, o comum foi pra alterar as datas e criar o jogo inimigo. De convencimento e tristeza aos olhos e a vozes. Eu vi, ou seja, se nao manda um snake igual a b3ja que usa jeans e vive ela comigo seria bem louco pensar isto. Quantas letras minhas ou sobre mim teria?
