In 1993 and 1994 I used to spend weekend here and there was no garbage and dirty poetry on walls. Illiterates people dirty mind people .... shame shame .... I am totally agreed with you Urooj sahiba ... Stay blessed
I am from India and I don’t know if I will ever get a chance to be in Lahore or any of Pakistan city and that’s why may be I love to watch this show..don’t know why but Lahore or every place in Pakistan you take me to through this show, makes me feel home..Partition was the saddest thing happened..

@@javedsultan4830 The political utility of partition aside, the human tragedy of half a million (at the most conservative estimate) deaths, and the legacy of antagonism, suspicion and insecurity is not something to celebrate. Never forget that British policies taught us to hate each other so that we could easily be controlled and exploited for their own colonial benefit. One startling statistic says a lot ; from the 1 century CE till the start of British colonisation in South Asia in 17th century, our GDP always varied between ~25 - 35% world's total GDP. This dropped to 2% - 4% by Independence in 1947.
The attitude that you display is the direct legacy of the British colonial policy of divide and conquer. Such a shame that some of us South Asians continue to do the work for them, instead of turning back to our roots of mutual respect , diversity and tolerance that helped us reach our glorious potential in the past.

Visited this historic site in summer 1990. It was recently renovated and was in excellent condition.
It looked like new building with kashikari and fresco work,with no writing on walls and running fountains and a lot of illumination after sunset which was visible from Ravi Bridge and GT Road.However ,sad to see its current status.
I did'nt know the meaning of Baradari. Thank you.

Last time I visited in 2017 it's really delicious place....
Babur was the first Mughal empire, In Baburnama Babur mentioned he wants Humayun to rule the throne of Hindustan but after the death of Babur, Kamran stood against Humayun to get the throne, but after some years of struggle, Humayun finally defeated Kamran in the year 1553 and send him to Mecca for Hajj and Kamran spend rest of his life there.

Video ideation and narration is good. But the camera work is too fast and moves in jerks rather than moving in tune with the rhythm of narration. I am not pointing at the capability of the cameraman, who seems to be well versed with the job. The narration should be matched with the visuals at a comfortable speed.
Once again, the effort of Ms Urooj Ali is commendable.

I have seen Mughal architecture in India in youtube videos, they maintained it brilliantly so they attract tourism but here in Pakistan nothing is been done for it, even Lahore Fort is a ruin in reality.

90% of mughal buildings are in ruins in india, only few well known are maintained
The big tourist sites are, but unfortunately many smaller marvels of historical architecture (Mughal and earlier) are also in a state of neglect in India.
