It must be a wild ride for the person in the towed vehicle. A little extra adventure for them.
Rory, Paul, and Heavy D may be good at their recovery but Eric in my opinion is the King of Recovery....
I watch several recovery shows. Yours feels more like where I live in upstate NY. Those in utah have some spectacular scenery but those are too different from what I experience.

Having wheeled by bsf, matts, casey, definitely different terrains but all beautiful country and if you're set up right can wheel them all with the same rig, I use a 98zj, and its also my daily,, 276k since acquired and going strong

Eric the wrecker is a true workhorse this is the first time I have seen any problems with the wrecker it was an easy fix which is a good thing

I dunno. I think I would rather do a Trail Fix in the parking lot with plenty of people willing to lend a hand on flat level ground than in the middle of a trail on uneven ground where you're blocking other people from enjoying their day.
Parking lot fix also may mean closer to BSF stand with tools and parts, worst case scenario bring trailer to wrecker and get assistance to load.

What would it cost to build a buggy similar to that? My old K5 mud/trail truck is just about done with life and I'd like to start a new build over the winter, I can do most of the work myself.

Eric do you make short videos I see some guys get more views on their shorts than regular videos. might even make a second channel doing interviews of the vehicles that you recover have the owner tell about the rig and if it was bought or built. just a thought worth what it cost you or maybe worth more than the cost?

I came from a custom suburban, was a local conversion co. called Waldock customs.
So how many months is this Memorial Day weekend last over there. Couldn't be any different than ours overhead Missouri.

COSTA RICA .....Greetings, I just want to tell you that this truck is too good, it is worth overjoining the engine and straightening and painting it, I DO NOT believe that a new GMC or CHEVROLET will support the work or the use that you give to your truck.
Get rid of rubber hose and put metal ones on it use compression fittings from old line to new one
Thankfully that gas leak didn’t cause a fire!

Yeah I just don’t understand why you do all the towing for free. I mean I understand helping others but if you can afford an off-road rig you can afford $50 for a tow when you mess up. I mean why do you have to work and spend all your hard earned money to help people out of there messes they have created for themselves. Tearing up your equipment. Beating the wrecker to death all for you to have to come out of pocket to fix it and maintain it. Now if you don’t want to charge and just like helping other I guess that’s your thing that makes you happy. But I would at the very least put some decals on the wrecker saying either tips appreciated or tips accepted I mean in order to just be real even I am guessing the fees would be a lot more the $50 probably between $100-$500 but seriously I just see a ton of time and money going out and the only return is thank you. It’s very commendable the amount of work your doing for free. Not to mention the money. Your a good man Eric. No NO your a great man and you have done more then enough charity work brother. But if it makes you happy and makes you smile then more power to you. I also don’t understand all these people you have to tow. Because telling you right now if I was broke down or stuck and you came to the rescue I would say hey how much to help me out and you would say no no. I don’t charge. I would then say why and the back and forth would go on for a minute but the end would be I’m giving you something or your not hooking up to my rig it’s only fair or I would slip some cash into the wrecker maybe on the dash or folded lengthwise and stuck into the seat crack where it’s poking out in plain sight.
Them things are junk everyone is having problems with them. Get dubble pupper holly and use electric fuel pump good to go😂
