The snow cat is awesome. Makes the ones Matt, Paul, and Robby have look like baby kittens 🐱
Just wait until Matt gets done with his, it'll have way more power than this one, everything will be modernized, and it's a quad-cab,😉, nowcdon't get me wrong, Eric's rig has plenty of potential, it'll just never reach that potential as long as Eric owns it.😶🌫
@@jerryb1234 Matt's thing is a toy, he's wasting so much time trying to make the wrong vehicle work. Not to mention all that power is wasted.
Does Paul have a cat?
No robby
Casey lofthouse has 2. A big one and a small one. Matt is still trying to catch up with him.
Looking forward to the winter version of the off road wrecker games, 13-15 January 2024 in Spooner Wisconsin. Matt had better bring gloves, Rory will need something better than his dad shoes.
Matt is going to be jealous of those independant tracks on each corner. It is way more useful on rough terrain. You drove through that dugout like it wasn't there.
Sno-cats are so cool! That must be so nice when the winter comes!
Hes not had it long enough to know
Its a cool rig for sure. But if I need that to get around I'd die. Lol
I spent my carreer working outside in the new mexico high plains. If I never see snow again I'll be great. I'll keep my mud boat. If yall ever get south. Way south bottom of the boot south. Have fun I can't wait to see yall in action
So Wise , Thank You . Thank You for the reminder Mat's doesn't have a boom
You two where giggling like a couple of school girls !!!! Fun
She's ALIVE. The Cat lives. YAY.
I bet I know of someone who can't wait till it snows!!!!
That is soo cool to give safe equipment to the law enforcement officer. They face way too much risk as it is. 😊
Now you, Matts off road, and robby need to do a snow cat event this winter.
Welcome to the Tucker family!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours. We are looking forward to more of your Tucker videos!
Eric you look like a big kid in the tucker. Cool deal hearing your mom laugh with you!!!❤
Like the Sno-cat, like the shop, like the video! Thank god that Sno-cat had a fan in it!
Eric the snow cat is definitely going to be a good addition to your fleet this winter. The snow cat will make recoveries much easier for you since you won't have to worry about getting stuck in the snow
Soooo, maybe you need to host a winter tow truck olympics games? mmmmm? That could be awesome!
Would be fun to see a winter wrecker games sometime, love that all you guys seem to have or be making your own unique snow cats
That thing is awesome. I cant wait to see it in the snow this winter. Keep up the great work bsf crew
That Sno Cat is awesome. It's definitely the only one I've ever seen that's set up as a tow truck. I hate to wish snow on y'all, but I do look forward to seeing it in action.
That is truly a capable rig! The independent tracks make a big difference it seems. Very cool.
Need to check all 4 tracks
I was going to do it anyway, well yeah, when the cats away the mice will play! Great seeing the beast running and moving!
When Mara is gone the sno cat is on!!!
That thing is gonna RIP in the snow, great job getting it going Eric. Can't wait to see it on recoveries. Thanks for the video.
You bet

Am I looking at 14 bolts front and rear?
Looks like a great rig, came out of the shop a LOT easier than it went in. Should be a great addition to the fleet, just need to get the sign writing done right.
Totally agree
Top lesson from Matt is make certain to lube and take extra good care of the bogie wheels and drive wheels. Irreplaceable. Then the heat needs to be addressed cause you that cab is completely uninsulated. Though some mat or spray in liner would be awesome to get rid of the hanging roof bulls..
Further, judging from the I'm not climbing that footage, a locker in front is something should be done asap.
It needs to have winches all over, air and more to make it truly a recovery vehiiickle.
Hey Eric, take that to the wrecker games next year. LOL
I absolutely love how the other channels make clips for your videos as well as others. that snow cat is awesome. it looks a lot rougher a ride inside then outside. you are much better suited for winter snow recoveries with that snow cat.
Good news is you don't need something to break new ground for a garden, just drive the Sno-Cat through! Congratulations on getting running.
My exact thoughts. Once in the fall and then just before planting. Bob's Baronette Produce will be envious.
Need this snowcat, Morr's new bombee, and Robys whiskers to have the snow trax games.
Looking good. We sure love our snow cats! Ya need to install air lockers in the diffs at least on one end or the other!
One of the first things I would recommend is to build a front and rear axle truss for your SnoCat…. The tubes have a tendency to break when carrying a heavy load in the snow, especially when you operating on roads and trails that have tired vehicle ruts that you have to operate on, as it puts incredible stress on the axle housings and they tend to crack and break at the most inconvenient times and places, and pulling the entire rearend out when your out in the snow, slush, and mud is an experience that once you have to take one out, and take it back to the shop to fix it, and then haul it back out to the field to reassemble it, you will do that once and then either truss it, or replace the Axel tube with a thicker wall piece of pipe and weld it to the pumpkin and Axel ends…
Good to know, thanks.
That thing needs the name "Grumpy"
Awesome video and recovery machine
When Matt runs out of gas with his sno machine you can go and provide the recovery service
You all do great videos
Thanks so much
He will tear up the drive train before he runs out of fuel LoL
Eric needs to get a plow onto the Sno Cat now.
It takes a big man to say he was "gonna do that anyway" When his wife isn't around? LOL?
Everything is coming together great brother.
Thanks for another great video!
Hmm, maybe you need to name it "The Worlds Largest Snow-road Wrecker".
Very cool machine, I can't wait to see it on snow.
Congrats, Eric! What a cool new addition to the BSF fleet!
I remember seeing one similar to yours when I used to go up to Price County as a kid (let's just say it was quite a few years ago). One of the locals had one and I remember him coming to pull our car out of the ditch with it. We had tried using a jeep and an old MF tractor in tandem, but there just wasn't any traction to be had on the road - so they brought that thing out and it plucked our car out like it was nothing.
Color me green with envy over your & Mara's (still growing) toy collection, as well as the new shop - which looks like it's already becoming too small!
Keep the cool videos coming!
Thats a cool looking snow cat. Its going do do good this winter. Glad you got it going anyway and you will have everything done quick
I love that thing.
Watch your head, it looks like that overhead radio console is going to fly off and attack you. Lol
You can aerate the lawn with the cleats in the tracks too. 👍
Eric, I owned a snowmobile trail grooming business with 7 snowcats at the peak of grooming, and we would run the Tucker 2000D and Tucker 2000E for most of our grooming cats. We had a Tucker 1000D and a Piston Bully PB170D as well, but used them more to transport people and parts rather than trying to groom trails with them. If you need any help with you new SnoCat give me a holler and I will do what i can from my experience with Tucker SnowCats…
That sno-cat is soo dammed kewl!!!!!!!!!!
I love its a stick shift. Dont swap a slush box in there eric 😂
How did I miss this video on the Snow Cat😲
Such a cool machine!!
This year some well needed repairs. Loved the video Watching Mara bouncing around in the passenger seat was hilarious 😂😂
❤ Your channel
The Tucker is one heck of a snow kat when winter comes it's going to be awesome ..... you and Matt should get together and set up a winter tow truck game with the snow kat
good to see the snow catdriving im expecting to see the diffgears changed soon lol, the diff for the jeep cleaned up well
They are powerful units. I got hooked on tracked machines because of the old Tuckers going with my old man to check radio towers in the winter on Blackcomb mountain beside Whistler mountain north of Vancouver BC when i was just a little shit. It was amazing how deep the snow would get and the old Tucker just kept chugging along and got us up and down the mountain each time without an issue. I've been hooked ( pardon the tow truck pun haha) ever since and have built a number of different tracked units over the years and still have 3 of them in different stages. The tracks you're running are great for deep snow but it doesn't take much to build a more practical set for mud and dirt use, more of a grouser with a lot less paddle on them, narrower ( which is better for trails) As long as you get the spacing correct to ride the drive sprockets and wheel guides for the bogies you can fabricate anything you want for different terrains and save the bad boys for the snow. You remind me of myself because no matter how old I get, I'm still like a kid in the mud. Keep up the excellent content.
that thing is a freaking BEAST! I love it cant wait to see it in snow
That old sno cat is cool you playing with that 318 is similar to me I'm presently trying to revive a 74 d100 318 left for dead 33 yrs ago by my dad can't wait to hear mine come back to life
26:52 I always enjoy the cameos 😁
One eight seven from South Dakota 👊🏻💪🏻
Yes man that thing gonna be a beadt
Tell RUclips to stop unsubscribing your viewers!
I have missed a new shop, the new truck, the snow cat!
It’s definitely awesome seeing the new snow cat recovery vehicle finally up and running and driving around for sure!!! I definitely can’t weight to see well it does in the snow along with it’s first recovery by you also!!!! It’s definitely going to be a bunch of fun for sure!!! Awesome video buddy!!!
Love Maras cleaning ! Love clean parts ! ( Eric loves dirty things ) :)
It's going to make your winters a lot more fun!! just make sure the heat works!
I look forward to the winter games. With the Utah crews
Time for a snow cat games between you Matt Robbie and Casey but they all got to come to you this time
always love seeing Matt on the channel haha
I see a winter edition of the "wrecker-games" coming up 😃!
Sno Cat looks like she's going to pull like a bear. Just point it in the direction you want it to go, and get out of the way! Thanks for sharing.
Recovery Team, The Snocat Wrecker is Awesome! That would have easily towed out that Toyota out the swamp. God Bless
You guys and your Snow Cats are the only thing I look forward to this winter...I hate winter.
I'm with ya, I hate cold weather. I'll watch them do it. lol
when winter is over... you can drive around on peoples farm lands to break up the surface soil to start aerating the soil LOL
Everyone needs a recovery scooter
going to have a lot of fun on it, keep the clips coming
unable to text u
you look good in "thee only one" but you also look good on the scooter😁👍
Can't wait to see it this winter.
Out of the three sno cats Ive seen, Matt's, Heavy Ds and yours I like yours the best. Its simple, old school and it has a radio! Although you might need a megaphone speaker inside to hear anything over that Chrysler big block
that is gonna be so cool, gonna be an awesome rig, some snow recoveries an they make awesome plows
Well, it looks the part of a snow recovery tow truck. thanks for sharing.
Time for the Track Wrecker Olympics ! Not in Utah !
They need to head East !
Your back yard for this .
Looks like a set of e lockers coming up soon! Very nice new tool for BSF.
That is a badass snow cat!!
That's awesome. Matt's going to have to step it up a bit. Lol
what a rad rig eric, gotta paint it the same as the wrecker lol
YEAAAAA!!! The snow cat lives!!! Great to see it moving under it's own power!! That thing should be a real beast in the snow. Looking forward to seeing the first snow recovery!!
Congrats on finally making it (really) move, Cant wait for the Action
It’s cool to see the ol kitty cat purring. You can use it for a side hustle during the summer to till people’s gardens. 😂
Awesome! it runs and drives!! Wahoo!! bumpy bumpy it goes...lol
Oh yeah!
That guy is a DF...who ever he is...
Congrats on getting Sno-Cat going! Official name is "Tucker Sno-Cat®". Don't know which model you have. Look forward to seeing videos of it doing recoveries!
1986 Model 1342
That's a beast. The control from gearing, v8, looks like it's effortless with the set up. Strongest out of fellas snow beasts
Very, very cool, Eric!
I hope for a challenge..with Matt's off road..and Wiskers..Paul needs one next
With fab rat's..
Lol the whole lowering down the hill was way uncalled for 😂😂
That looked fun.I liked the comment, 'can make shakes in here'.Can you put pneumatic seats in to compensate?I also wondered about treating the rubber in the tracks to keep them supple. The fan will help keep fog off the windows.Need a serious air-conditioning system to keep the windows dry when it's cold. With that gearing, using some engine for air won't be a drain.
That's great! Can't wait to see it in the snow! It reminds me of the snow cat from either Rudolph or Frosty the Snowman.
The snow cat is awesome. I can't wait to see you play in the snow. I'm a little surprised to see that the snow-cat doesn't have LSDs of some kind of lockers. I really didn't expect to see the tracks slip on one side like that.
Yeah selectable lockers would be awesome in that thing! I think some of them do come with that option from the factory. Wonder what axles this rig is running.
If it has turning brakes you should be able to brake the slipping track and somewhat simulate a locker.
I can't imagine the amount of force those tracks are able to exert on the drivetrain. It could be that adding lockers (or even a limited slip) would be too much for the axleshafts to take.
@@NBSV1 No, it steers with articulation, not brakes. Did you see any brake levers, or did you see a steering wheel?
@@chunkychambers1530 It an run some pretty high gears. The wheel and tire size is reduced because they are replaced by a drive sprocket. So instead of 40" tires, you have 22" drive sprockets.
That has to be the coolest snowcat I've seen.
The Sno-Cat is cool
Great pick up for winter , Eric which is coming fast...
A nice big rig air seat for the bumpyness
I'm thinking there should be a sno-cat, /bombee (whatever they are) wrecker games. Get the gang back together and have a blast.. I'd watch it.
You were able to get her running, very impressive machine 👏
Love it, paying off the cops for noise complaints, i bet, love seeing communities come together
Wow you have such a beautiful yard full of big trees
Yes we do
I live Utah so you know what I have for trees in my yard little trees that are 3 to 5 year's old
This thing is beyond freaking awesome! Matt may have built the coolest wrecker on YT, but you definitely now have the coolest snowcat on YT🇺🇲
Wow, thanks!
the front grille reminds me of an Allis Chalmers 170-180-190 series
Had to pause the video and let you know you should use kriol instead of PB blaster or wd. I work on a lot of truck that run in water and snow with the road salt. Its an amazing oil!!! For really stuck bolts and parts let it sit for an hour or so! It's never let me down!! Can't wait to see the snow cat in action!!!! I bet it would be good in the mud during the summer also!!
