Thanks for taking us along. Some of us armchair offroaders live through your cameras, as we don't have the equipment. You are so lucky to do what you love.todo
Really enjoy watching your videos. the part on the rockwell axle that broke on the buggy is called the champagne glass they are known for braking there. great job on the recovery. cant wait to see the build of the new recovery wrecker.
Matt made a comment at the #Wrecker Games, that #Trailmater had a “soul.” Watching your videos proved to me that your recovery rig has a “soul” also. Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos!
The next wrecker games needs to be back east where your from. Give you home turf advantage in the next games. I would love to see Matt, Paul, and Rory use there wreckers in this type of terrain.
It wasn't the wrecker, but Matt.Rorey and Paul were in the mountains rescuing that Suzuki...and that was all sorts of terrain, even submersible at times 🙂
Nice job recovering the buggy, you make it look easy, even though it isn't always the case ! That ole wrecker is worth it's weight in gold, lol . Hopefully Mara is doing well. Thanks.
Off we go, on another great Eric and Abbi adventure. I'm surprised Abbi doesn't take a turn behind the wheel of the wrecker. With all her ride along time she'd be as good as 'pops' Eric. Or is she waiting to borrow Mara's wrecker to be completed.
Those heavy Rockwell axles had the wrecker looking skyward through the trail, you just about had to drive with your head out the window like ace ventura.
Another fun video. Really enjoy them. Your cab really sounds like it could use a little love beyond WD-40. Looking forward to your next adventure, jack
Great Job guys! I like the sand and rocks out west but, being from the northeast, I can relate much more to the tight, windy, forest trails that you guys have to operate in. Keep up the good work!
Back when the military was "DRMO"ing M35s and parts off. Rockwell's it was cheap enough to run them and have a few for spare parts. If you run anything hard enough, long enough, or let maintenance slide, it will break. A Rockwell is a pig of an axle made to move stuff overloaded on bad conditions with a "de-rated" multi-fuel engine at low speeds. I've got many miles driving a few of them. Now, there are many better choices if starting a build if you don't have them already, and replacement parts are not being made as much now. 🤔
Eric, even with some of the bigger rigs that red wrecker makes it look easy-ish.. lol Nice job gettin around All that Mother Nature out there...! 👍👍🌞 ☕🐢
Yup! No question about it, he broke it all right! LOL!! I think you do an excellent job of navigating around all those trees, hills, and streams!! Take a lot of practice, I bet.
Some really great camera angles in this video. I'm really falling in love with your neck of the woods. At least in the summer. I'm Florida grown, so I'm not sure I could handle the winters - lol.
Hope he and his buds knuckle down and get that rolling again quick. ;)Yep.Went there. He was honest about it though.:'It was too easy so I tried to climb a tree, and it broke'...That's the guy you want with you in the trails.
I am always a bit surprised that if you break your highly specialized off road vehicle in some trail, you can indeed call a tow service. And they come, drive the trail with some tow truck PLUS your rig on the hook.
The spindel is one of the rockwells weak points, I have seen the ball for the steering knuckel snapped off the end of the housing on 5tons , there not bullet proof .

So lucky........nope, he's a hard worker, stop lecturing from your armchair about luck please.
WE WORK FOR OUR LIVING its not LUCK
If you have a real REASON you cant do this I can understand BUT LUCK has zero to do with it!!!
Makes me want to drive a recovery truck, instead of a toy! You always win! Lol
Awesome wrecker footage! Loved that super sharp turn zoom in and the stance of the wrecker getting around that stump! Well done!
BSF old school recovery same square body truck still ticking . Better then a Timex watch . Enjoy your videos !

Your automatic, enthusiastic gate opener is doing a great job.

Eric, the methods you devise to extract vehicles from their predicaments are most interesting. The chains and straps are the stuff of your magic.
The next wrecker games needs to be back east where your from.

Trevor Wisconsin is NOT back east. Definitely out west.
Another awesome video Eric!! I’m always impressed with your know how to rescue these trucks!
You just have to love it when people tell you how to do your job 🍻
Nice job recovering the buggy, you make it look easy, even though it isn't always the case ! That ole wrecker is worth it's weight in gold, lol . Hopefully Mara is doing well. Thanks.
Whew Eric that was quite some maneuvering around those trees, awesome! Lots of great camera angle’s too! Looks like a great place to have fun! 👍
Wish we were there, looks like a great time had by everyone, We were following you when you were at The Wrecker games also, thumbs up, Great video
Nice recovery! Love the recovery videos. 🙂
GOTTA LOVE THE remote operated Gate opener
Great job Gents and Lady!

I see a third wrecker build in Eric's not-too-distant future.
Beautiful Country Side Sir
Great recovery Eric 😊

I think that's the first time I seen a Rockwell break like that. Nice driving
Have seen enough rockwell axles broken in enough different ways that will never have one under any of my projects

so good to see you back out doing recoveries
Good job as always. 😊
❤Team BSF 👍😎✊
Great video and great job with the recovering and God bless from GA and stay safe
How is seatcover doing? My family misses seeing her. And I know im speaking for some others too, when i say we miss seeing her...

good recovery,
Love these videos
Never underestimate a gross of toothpicks for causing havoc...LOL Nice recovery
32nd from Indiana 👊🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the video😮
That hard body Toyota looked like a legit RC truck
That bugging made your wrecker look like an S-10
keep the clips coming
That poor Rockwell....Good Recovery.
Ain't nobody poor got a rockwell, unless it's rotting like the Loch Ness monster in their backyard.
@@PaulLorenzini-ny2ywthey are some of the cheapest large axles you can get, 5tons and deuces can be found all day for sub 5 grand
I'm enjoying your videos sir
Glad to hear it
Nice recovery. It is not the rocks & sand in Sand Hollow but every bit as challenging. Some really tight corners to make with the buggy on.
Hope he and his buds knuckle down and get that rolling again quick. ;)Yep.Went there. He was honest about it though.:'It was too easy so I tried to climb a tree, and it broke'...That's the guy you want with you in the trails.
Why do you not have a rear drag winch?
Did Eric have a Sneeky Pete holster on his right side?
Hey. Where's SeatCushion?
There's reasons Rory Irish won't put those axles under mater,, hauls way to many broken, or broken off rockwell axle equipped vehicles out
I am always a bit surprised that if you break your highly specialized off road vehicle in some trail, you can indeed call a tow service. And they come, drive the trail with some tow truck PLUS your rig on the hook.
I fought the stump and the stump won. Lol
those " special K " brownies always tide me over 😅
What was in that "Brownie" ?
You need a lot more lights, 😆
Ok, what happened to the front bumper on the wrecker?
Wow, breaking an unbreakable Rockwell ,
MONSTROSITY
You need to go digital Eric. Put a camera on the front of the old square body and two in the back.
I’ve often wondered if a wheel lift, similar to what Casey LaDelle uses, would benefit??
Thoughts anyone?
Approach and departure angles would be the main problem because they hang down so far. But yes the thought has crossed our mind
They don't twist/pivot for off-road articulation.
What happened to the front bumpor and I think that left front fender looks like a badge of honor rather than getting it fixed
Wrecker games hosted by Matt’s Off-road Recovery. If you missed it, you missed out. Look it up. 👍🏻
What happened to your bumper You're missing half of it?
To break a Rockwell you need lots of force
I'm pretty sure I have heard seatcover on the radio some...? Right??😅
i would have ratchet strapped behind the 4link.. i hurt a shock 😆 🤣 😂 live & learn i did
The spindel is one of the rockwells weak points, I have seen the ball for the steering knuckel snapped off the end of the housing on 5tons , there not bullet proof .
Was that a dark chocolate brownie or a milk chocolate brownie?
Hate to ask a question like this..but dam .is the money good doing this im beating its pretty descent hustle .let us know .thanks man..great channel
No charge for the recovery, all of the wreckers volunteer at this event.
Awesome...thank u for what u do..that's cool no charge..
the chains should have flags to see better
You forgot yo pickup Amanda
You put rockwells on a vehicle 1/5 the weight of what they were designed for and you are still able to brake them🧐
How in the Sam Hill Nun did they break that axle
Was that a pot browny. LOL
Just pull the front wheels off to get you through the woods
It takes a special kind of silly to bust a Rockwell like that.
👍🐢
Stump alwais win
