It wasn’t a fair test, let’s be honest, you set the Ninja out to fail by using the auto blend, then used the nutri bullet as a shake and manual blend. So you can’t say the auto feature isn’t useful. I use the Ninja auto with my fair blend of fruit and liquids and no issues.
This didn’t seem like an honest test as the guy seems to be very biased, almost as if he had already chosen the winner before even doing the test. I don’t own a blender yet, watching these reviews, hoping they would help me decide. So I’m gonna go watch an honest review/test now.
My guess: it's because the Ninja turns off and on again, which is supposed to eliminate the need to shake it. So shaking the Ninja would not test the effectiveness of that feature. The Nutribullet doesn't have the feature, so the comparison is inherently problematic.
exactly what I wanted to see!! THICK SMOOTHIE TEST. Not add more liquid test. This is what i struggle with all the time...remove, shake, over and over. Sick of it. Thanks for this.
Sameeee I was literally going crazy because most of the test / reviews where people who said "smoothies" but they were like milk shakes with alot of milk and that made me go really nuts. Thank you so much for the video it was really helpfull
You clearly haven't read the manual. The instructions to the Nutri Ninja are: "For frozen fruits and ice, you must press the Auto‐IQ ULTRA Blend." ....You pressed the wrong button! The "Auto-IQ Blend" is for fresh and soft fruits and veggies.
I've been watching comparisons all night against the pro900. It seems from what I've watched there's nothing that comes close to the performance and end results of the pro 900. Canadian tire in Canada has them on sale for$99.99 and I'll be picking one up tomorrow morning. I've read reviews as well, the one thing that almost deterred me from buying one, was the comment of the cups coming loose from the blender blade attachment, and smoothies spewing out of the cup as it was mixing! They obviously didn't tighten the lid enough, or hold the cup while blending( especially ice and or hard frozen fruits) which from videos I've watched can cause the base unit to jump around a bit. You can't fix stupid! All in all I'm very impressed with the end results, as I've had chunky smoothies in the past, and that was the reason I was put off getting one, because of the amount of wasted money of fruits that weren't consumed. This unit is far superior to what I tried years ago, it's 1000% better. Go out and get one while you can!
I appreciated this review. People who said you failed were wrong. I bought the ninja and NO MATTER WHAT I did it would not vortex. So no I think your review is accurate.
if you check any other review of nutri bullet or if you have one, you will notice that pieces of fruits get stuck sometimes, and you will need to shake it .. but it blends well and makes the result smooth
See my previous comment - this was an EXTREME blending test. Not your typical Ninja Blast or Nutri Smoothie or whatever. I purposely didn't add a lot of liquid to see how they fared making a thick smoothie or "nice cream". I think I even stated in the video that if I would have added more liquid it would have been easy for both of them.
Get a vitamix and use the tamper if you wan't to use zero liquid. If you want to add a little bit, I like the Nutribullet 900. Check out the guide in the description :)
Carol - that was the point of this video. Of course it would have blended better if I added more liquid. I like to make THICK smoothies and "nice cream" which I usually do in a Vitamix with the tamper. For me, a blenders ability to create a vortex with really thick ingredients is important so I figured others might care about it as well for smoothie bowls, etc.
I have a Vitamix, but I have to admit, I prefer my Ninja to the Vitamix. Ninja can do a lot more things than Vitamix can.If I had to pick between nutribullet Vitamix & Ninja, Ninja all the way for me anyway.
I have the same Ninja and love it. I use a little more liquid and the vortex makes a nice smooth texture every time. I love the ultra blend setting because it breaks everything completely down.
I use my vitamix everyday but I’m looking for a travel smoothie blender that can blend frozen strawberries not just mince strawberries : ) Trying to decide the best NutriBullet model for traveling.
Kitchen Tips by Joe not extreme to me. I like to make salad dressings and do not like to dilute it with water. I have the nutribullet (not pro). The capacity is too small and the blades unscrew as it blends. I’m considering the nutribullet pro for the larger size but wondering if I should move up to a regular style blender and which one because of the blades unscrewing.
That wasn't a fair test . You had them way too thick & you had the Ninja on the wrong setting. You don't like Ninja, so you set it up to *FAIL*. Ninja din't fail YOU failed.
For the record, I've tried the super setting on the ninja and it does pretty much the same thing. Easier to get a vortex on certain ingredients on the Nutribullet sorry to say. That's just my experience - people are welcome to like the ninja better :)
Ah! You just said it. You own a nutri bullet. So of course you will slant to it. And help it along first. Just human ya know. Shouldnt do comparison vids with stuff you have tried.
See *MY* previous comment , Ninja didn't fail *YOU* failed. Blame the user *NOT* the machine.

I was just coming in to make a similar comment. Hmmm..... not helpful at all for me.
You set the machines up to fail just because you have a lot of blenders doesn't mean you know what you are doing.
This didn’t seem like an honest test as the guy seems to be very biased, almost as if he had already chosen the winner before even doing the test. I don’t own a blender yet, watching these reviews, hoping they would help me decide. So I’m gonna go watch an honest review/test now.
What makes him seem biased?
Did you find an honest review? Or make a choice on a blender? Would love a link if to one if you did.
Different sized cups affects the blending
so why were u only shaking the nutibullet and not the other machine?
My guess: it's because the Ninja turns off and on again, which is supposed to eliminate the need to shake it. So shaking the Ninja would not test the effectiveness of that feature. The Nutribullet doesn't have the feature, so the comparison is inherently problematic.

Thank you for the video I wasn’t going to buy a €500 blender just to make smoothie bowls thank you
You clearly haven't read the manual.

....You pressed the wrong button!
The "Auto-IQ Blend" is for fresh and soft fruits and veggies.
You also gave that *SHITE* Nutribullet an advantage over the Ninja by shaking it, & also giving the crappy NB longer.
Nutribullet is great!!!

many other reviews proof the same.. unfortunately ninja is not really better than nutri bullet though more expensive
Use the proper cup size and it does just fine. You over stuffed the ninja. Of course it's going to fail. Weak review
omg do you get paid by vitamix to advertise or something
what are u doing? why shaking the blender? lol
if you check any other review of nutri bullet or if you have one, you will notice that pieces of fruits get stuck sometimes, and you will need to shake it .. but it blends well and makes the result smooth
You should’ve added more liquid.
Absolutely!!! I make one everyday in the Ninja. Had it for 5 months now. The ultra blend setting is the ultimate!!!
doesn't it need more liquid?
The nutri ninja is brilliant, & it didn't fail. YOU failed
See my previous comment - this was an EXTREME blending test. Not your typical Ninja Blast or Nutri Smoothie or whatever.

Kitchen Tips by Joe oh this is extreme? Dang it I only like making super icy thick frozen treats like this... so what do you recommend?
Get a vitamix and use the tamper if you wan't to use zero liquid. If you want to add a little bit, I like the Nutribullet 900. Check out the guide in the description :)
Kitchen Tips by Joe which vita mix, there are so many?
You need water for the ninja
The shaking it was because ?. All you had to do was add more liquid, therefore no need to shake the machine & possibly break it.
Carol - that was the point of this video. Of course it would have blended better if I added more liquid. I like to make THICK smoothies and "nice cream" which I usually do in a Vitamix with the tamper.

Carol Binnie what can the Ninja do that Vita Mix and nutrabullet cannot? And which Ninja do you like?
I have the same Ninja and love it. I use a little more liquid and the vortex makes a nice smooth texture every time. I love the ultra blend setting because it breaks everything completely down.

ForgiveAndLove09 I like the bullet but both do well
Ok great.
I ordered the NB Pro 900.
Ingredients please
I'll admit, this test was a bit extreme. What would you like to see me test next in either of these blenders? Let me know here!
Kitchen Tips by Joe not extreme to me. I like to make salad dressings and do not like to dilute it with water. I have the nutribullet (not pro). The capacity is too small and the blades unscrew as it blends. people who own the ninja are so pressed lmao leave the guy alone. a stellar comparison and review 👌
?
This test is terrible. You obviously didn't follow directions with the amount of liquid you're supposed to use.
Food processor gives the best result and it's not as loud
If you shaked it a lot more you would have got a smoother result you barely shook the nutri ninja
That’s messed up
That wasn't a fair test . You had them way too thick & you had the Ninja on the wrong setting. You don't like Ninja, so you set it up to *FAIL*. Ninja din't fail YOU failed.

Nigga shut up god damn
Do you own a % of Nnja? You commented like 4 times? We get it you dont like the video
U keep shaking the nutribullet more than the ninja. 😂😂😂 I don't see it as a fair test
Bad idea to shake it all instead of removing the cup, don't !
disappointed by both
you have to add more liquid
Ah! You just said it. You own a nutri bullet. So of course you will slant to it. And help it along first. Just human ya know. Shouldnt do comparison vids with stuff you have tried.
FAIL FAIL FAIL on the IDIOT USERS part
Biased "review"
I own the ninja and to be honest I'd rather the nutribullet.
