I made the mistake of putting whole baby carrots with a cup of mixed greens, and it wasn't pretty.. Also be careful not to overfill it, because it will overflow. As long as you follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, you should be happy with this purchase.
I don't know why companies make blenders with only a blade at the bottom and don't instead make a spiral blade that extends almost to the top of the container. That seems to me like a big design flaw because food has to either be shaken or rearranged to reach the blade and be fully blended to a creamy consistency. I have a Magic Bullet and it does OK for liquids but not great on anything dry. Doing smaller amounts at a time and then scooping them out into the jar you're going to keep the butter in will work. It just takes a bit longer.
The problems with the bigger blenders though... you have to make a lot for the blades to make good contact, then digging the contents out without wasting half of what you made. I don't know which is more frustrating.
Yes! These definitely have their place but my Vitamix will liquefy nuts into butter in just a couple of minutes. It has a tool to push everything down when it goes to the sides. Almond butter is one of the hardest butters to make , even with a blender that has 2.2hp the consistency of almond butter is much more dense and thick than lets say than peanut butter. the type of blenders this guy is using is very limited to what it can do
The larger diameter canister can’t keep the powdery nut material within the path of the Ninja’s blade. Neither machine does that well as they are being used here. I would try adding slightly warm water (95 F) for processing; when completed, dump into an open wide mouth container (jar) and let the excess water evaporate out...stirring it several times daily until I achieved the ‘butter’ consistency I wanted. Be sure it doesn’t get rancid or contaminated, infested!
Simply stated, regardless of the size of the blender you can not make a small amount. The fuller the blender, the better the results. I'm pretty sure that if he had doubled the amount, both blenders would have done a much better job.
I have a ninja that has the nut butter setting and pretty much I press the button and walk away come back and there's nut butter where my nuts just were. I think if you want to make nut butters you should go with a different ninja. That one is maybe meant for more liquid based items.

you did not add oil
The dude is wearing a chef's hat at home.😂🤣😁🙄
I have used both of these blenders. I don't know if it makes a difference, but at 5:16 and again at 6:13 you did not lock the ninja into place by turning it to the right, so it was just sitting on the base. Perhaps that is why the nuts would not hit the blade.
Which blender do you think is better? I’ve been looking for one to make smoothies but been a struggle
Wrong nutribullet blade
I make nut butter with my ninja nutri blender pro all the time. Try using pluse next time.
