***FOREVER AND EVER AMEN*** you want that one.
@ConspiracySmurf He has done a reaction to this song...It's on his channel! 😊
“ As He laid that blood stained Bible in that hookers hand.”He gave it to her as he was dying.
He did that one already :)
I was just going to suggest that one myself.
Great song
The preacher placed the bible stained with his blood at the scene of the crash into the hooker's hand before he passed. Then she gave it to her son who became a preacher and he told the story. I just love to hear Randy Travis sing anything. Thank you for the reaction.
I've listened to this song for years and it gets me every time. Randy Travis battled his own demons but you could always tell he was a believer in Jesus Christ. Your mom sounds like a beautiful woman. I'm sorry for your loss but what a relief to know that she's in the arms of Jesus. God bless.
Amen.
Amen
@@UberDave918 Jesus saves alll you have to do is ask. I used to carry New Testament bibles that I found always a lot of the at the dollar tree. When I would to ask them accept him into your heart. Then I would hand over the new testament bible I would say every thing is right in here I pay my heart as I handed out to total strangers I only had one person in ten years we call it street preaching. I love me some rock mostly gospel music. You mom is your guardian angel she’s watching you with your new born never forget Jesus’s and his angels watch over us
I placed my hand over my heart
I thought he walked on water was a good song by Randy Travis
Definitely one of his best! Reminds me of my Grandpa!!
If you want another faith-based song with a fall-out-of-your-chair emotional ending, check out "The Little Girl" by John Michael Montgomery. Another good gut puncher is "God's Will" by Martina McBride.
Check out "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride
Absolutely, a great story
Martina’s song, Gods Will is so very good… her story telling is amazing.
YES!! 🙌🏼
YEEEEEEEES!!! And broken wing!!! That woman can sing!!!!❤
Three wooden crosses... Definitely my favorite song by Randy Travis. It makes me cry every time I hear it. Just such a full circle moment. The three wooden crosses were for the three people that passed away...the farmer, the teacher, and the preacher. The hooker lived. And you got the story exactly right after you listened to it again. From the outside, you would think that the hooker was the one in the bus that least deserved to live. But the preacher preached the word of God to her. And it probably saved her life from a life of despair. The hooker took God's word and went on to be a mother who prayed the word to her son...who then became a preacher because of that word.
Two were looking for another way.. The preacher and the hooker. He was preaching, yes, but he gave her a blood soaked bible. So he was dying when he gave it her. And I always took it as she was already pregnant and open to finding a new path.
You have to check out Randy's song 'He Walked On Water' another great story telling song.
I'm sorry about your mom, cancer sucks , if you want a good storytelling country music song check out Josh Turner "Long Black Train " its a good storytelling song mixed with Religion
Josh Turners duet with Randy of 3 Wooden Crosses is great.
Long Black Train is a must react!!
Yes! I Josh's voice and this song
His first hit Forever and forever Amen is another goodun. Check out Martina Mcbrides Concrete Angel too
I second Martina McBride concrete angel . You want to hear a voice you have to listen to her!!
Concrete Angel...beautiful song
Martina McBride is a phenomenal singer
So glad you did this reaction... Another one that you should check out is The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery
Sold is a goodun too
This one is a must!
Alyssa Lies is on that vein too
Yes, both are so good.... and Concrete Angel
Oh yes!! 😢❤
What a beautiful story of how our testimonies can turn a life around. God is so awesome!! We are here to work together toward His kingdom. Your Mom must’ve been a wonderful example to you. I pray you teach your children by her example. God’s got big plans for you!!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
"Deeper Than the Holler," "If I Didn't Have You " , ""Whisper My Name ", "Forever and Ever Amen " ❤😊
10:29 The preacher wasn’t preaching to her until the moment that he was dying.
Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes by George Jones, absolute classic and really makes you think!
Yes, great song
And to quote Vince Gill, "I don't think they make those shoes anymore"
I agree with this and one of the best songs ever oh my God I just suggested 4 lol but how do I follow the song it totally would have been one of them
10 years.. Light weight 😂
Congratulations to your whole family BP.
Your girls are blessed to have mommy & daddy making it work 😊
I maintain 2 Wooden Crosses on the edge of my land.. "Guy" (his actual French name) hit a Black Bear on his Harley. There were no "winners" 😞
Great guy. Great Husband. Great Father. Great Neighbour. Our community lost a great man and his family lost so much more 😞
9 years I've been tending the flowers (planted more) and wood preservative on the crosses each spring.
Thank you for caring about Guy so much that you continue to honor him like this. From a Retired Paramedic in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
@@jenniferlehman326 just a country bumpkin in NB 😀
Sitting out in the woods around the fire as the sun goes down on Moose Season 2024.
14 point Bull 😉
@@Shortsac72 Nice haul for the freezer, man!! Jenn 💖
Bless you, not only for honoring the man, but also the bear. Respect 🙏❤
The Little Girl y John Micheal Montgomery might be another you'd like. Hits me as hard as this one at least. Why Me Lord? by Kris Kristofferson is another good one with Christian themes.
Rip Kris Kristofferson
Next from the Randy "Rabbit Hole"... Diggin up Bones 😉😂
Have you reacted to Tim McGraws Please Don't Take the Girl.
That one kills me every single time.
Love Randy Travis! His music is just so special! Someone else I really think u would enjoy is Kenny Chesney! Check out There goes my life! U will love it!
Love that song!
Randy and Kenny have a good one called Baptism.
@@Rocker1983I absolutely love that song and I don’t think I have seen anyone react to it.
8:15 .. lol.. 💡 “Ding!” Haha.. Seriously though, this is hands-down, my favorite reaction to this song. 👍🏼👍🏼
Congrats on your upcoming anniversary. In November, we will be celebrating our 43rd anniversary 😀
***ON THE OTHER HAND***
LOVE that one!
Yesas
Hell had nothing to do with the song. Teacher, Preacher and Farmer died, his blood stained Bible he gave to the Hooker as he died the Hooker survived and led the good life and read the Bible to him as he grew up.
😊So happy you got to her this song, and it touched you the way it was meant to. Randy may've written and sung it... but the words are from Jesus. Period.
Thank you for sharing this reaction, and rest in sweet Heavenly peace to your Mom. She knew what she was talking about, even if some didn't understand what she was asking.... beautiful testimony BP. Peace, light and love to all...💞
More old-country storytelling, Don't Take The Girl by Tim McGraw, maybe the version with Blanco Brown...
Don’t take the girl would be a great song for him to react to
Tim McGraw... Tom was a typo. He'd be cryin' for sure at that one! I cry near every dang time! Ugh!
@@karencox3235 Darn it... Yeah, Tim...
Such a beautiful song, when it was released I cried the first time I heard it.
Your mother sounds wonderful! May go bless you and your family
You are spot on with the story. Thankfully, the story is fictional, but still tugs at the heart strings.
I was born and raised in the Baptist church. My mother is 89 yrs old and still attends the same church every Sunday.
RIP to your mother.
Im so sorry for your loss.
My father passed in 1995, but my mom is still going strong at 89
God bless you and your family BP.
I love this song. What a message. I knew you would get it, so many other reactions I've watched never got the message. Randy Travis is such a great story teller and a rabbit hole you could go down with his music.
if you want a song that is good you should do Carrie Underwood Jesus take the wheel great story
This song saved my life. I went out of control going down a steep hill that was Ice Covered. I knew I would crash so I looked up with hands raised and said Jesus TAKE The Wheel! It went down in a gully beside the road and came to a stop there. I was not injured at all
Unanswered Prayers. By Garth Brooks is one I think you would love.
Check out . Allisa Lies by Jason Michael Carol .
Knew it when it was new and it still makes me cry
I grabbed tissues before I clicked on.
Several years ago, I worked for a prison, driving around the perimeter looking for bad guys who were dumb enough to climb on the fence to test my marksmanship skills. This was one of several Randy Travis songs I listened to on a mix CD every time I worked. His songs never get old, and this one is a treasure. My favorite song of his, though, is about a boy and his great-grandfather. It's a gorgeous story and will yank the hell out of your heartstrings. I highly recommend it... "HE WALKED ON WATER" ruclips.net/video/eCVw8Qjeg84/видео.html .
I love that you said he’s your Lord and Savior. He’s mine as well.
If you wanna do a Beautiful song about our Lord check out Todd Agnews My Jesus. It tell an amazing story
Remember when was Alan Jackdon. Your reaction to Randy was Forever and Ever Amen.
You'll love; Clay Walker's ""The Chain of Love". I'm a rock fan, but country music tells the best stories (my opinion)
9:00 priceless reaction as you figured it out
It also could be that one of those people didn't have family to leave them a cross despite their beliefs or life.
Great reaction, love that song. A great song that tells a story that people might not remember is Blind Man in the Bleachers. I think you would really like it. It got to me when I was a kid and it still gets to me now. Take care
I still have the original Kenny Starr vinyl album by that name. He was before videos were a thing, so won't find an official video for it although it is possible someone might have created a video for the song. Calico Cat is another really good one by him off that same album.
I was blesed enough to get to see him at the Houston rodeo one of the last times he was in concert. He sang this for the first time, and no one had a dry eye!!! Please do forever and ever. But get your wife to do it with you!
i saw him in charlottesville va before he had his stroke on the downtown mall as a honeymoon present ! Great song !!!
Partner, if you're interested in another great story telling song, based on God your gonna want to check out "The Little Girl" by John Michael Montgomery. Great song, greater story.
The preacher laid the bible in the hooker's hand before he died. The singer says his momma gave the bible to him. His mom was the former hooker!❤❤❤❤❤
React to just one of Michael Martin Murphy hit songs !!!!!!! 😊 "Wildfire " or " WHAT'S FOREVER FOR". I promise 💓 you'll like.
Wildfire!
WILDFIRE!
Three great songs you need to hear that's also very emotional...
John Michael Montgomery "The Little Girl".
Tim McGraw "Don't Take The Girl".
Martina McBride"Concrete Angel ".
John Michael Montgomery, “Alyssa Lies”
Martina McBrde’s, “God’s Will,” is also a fantastic story
Yes those two more are important as well
This is a beautiful song you got the meaning exactly right. . You should now react to Dolly Parton ( HE'S ALIVE) also Steve wariner ( 2 TEARDROPS) ( HOLES IN THE FLOOR OF HEAVEN) & ty Herndon ( MAN HOLDING ON) Patty loveless ( HOW CAN I HELP YOU SAY GOODBYE)
Grab the tissues! 😭
I did before I clicked on. This song gets me every time.
The song "Three Wooden Crosses" is about a bus crash that kills three of four passengers, and the meaning of the song includes:
The story
The song tells the story of four passengers on a bus from the US to Mexico that crashes after the driver misses a stop sign. The passengers include a farmer, a teacher, a prostitute, and a preacher.
The fate of the passengers
The song reveals the fate of the passengers, except for the bus driver. The farmer and teacher are killed, and the song mentions what they left behind. The preacher gives his bloodstained Bible to the prostitute before he dies.
The twist
The song ends with a preacher telling the story to the narrator during a Sunday service. However, the preacher who tells the story is actually the son of the prostitute, who holds up the bloodstained Bible as proof.
The meaning
The song's lyrics ask why there are only three crosses and not fo
Did the bus drive die? :)
Check out Long Black Train by Josh Turner if you haven't already.
This is why I love Country music. It's about the story. Sometimes the story will tug at your heartstrings, other times it'll make you want to have a good time.
Here's a few others to check out:
The Ride - David Allan Coe
Dinosaur - Hank Williams Jr.
Ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio - Aaron Tippin
Bubba Shot The Jukebox - Mark Chestnut
This Cowboy's Hat - Chris LeDoux
Randy Travis "Three Wooden Crosses" finally man! good stuff bro!
In an interview in the 90's he said the story of three wooden crosses happened to one of his friends
It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it's what you leave behind you when you go.
I LOVE THAT SONG!! You got it Pegasus. it is fictional.
THE PREACHER GAVE HIS BLOOD STAINED BIBLE TO THE HOOKER❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Probably my favorite Randy Travis song.
My beautiful hubby died in a horrible car crash just over 2yrs ago. There is a 4 ft tall wooden cross at his spot on the right side of the highway ✝️
I MISS YOU TERRIBLY ANTHONY
💔 🫦 😢
So very sorry.
My true condolences! 😢🙏
My favorite song of redemption. You cannot outrun God’s Grace.
HE WALKED ON WATER... please listen to that one.
Beautiful song. BP, your morals and values are why I watch you. One of the reasons. Thank you. Please don't change.
“Love, Me” by Collin Raye and “Waiting on a Woman” by Brad Paisley are also great songs.
LOL watching guys react to country is my favorite
Real music for real people. Randy Travis is that MAN
Almost exactly what happened if you listen it tells you the preacher laid his blood stained bible in his mother the hookers hand so the blood on the bible was from the accident and it was the preachers as he died one last soul he turned to God with his bible. 🙏 great reaction thanks for sharing it.❤
You got it!
My marriage is at 20 years going strong and proud! Love this song!
Don’t be so quick to judge!
Please check out Head East-Never been any reason. Thanks
Great suggestion, to an underated song
You might know that the lead singer of Head East became the lead singer of the Christian rock group Petra.
You got it right. Great story with surprise ending centered around what you leave behind.
Don't worry about what people say. I'm on my legal 29 years married plus one living together, so 30 years!! If you work together and RESPECT each other you can do anything!!❤❤
Thank you, been wanting you to do this one forever
You got it 100%
I've heard this song 100s of times, and I cry every time. This is why country music is so culturally important. God, country, and family!
I’d love to see you react to “If I Were the Devil” by Paul Harvey.. either on this channel or Vs.the World.. it’s not a song but a radio broadcast, under 4 minutes if I recall.. originally from 1965 I believe and very prophetic.. thank you, subscribed to both channels 👍
Even T=pain responded to Pete and Bas on tik tok
Please listen to Josiah's song by Keith Green. Keith Green was a celebrated Christian musician in the late seventies and early eighties. As a child he was given a recording contract as he was considered to be the next Elton John because of his piano skills. Please make sure you watch the video on the Keith Green plane crash. You will then understand the meaning behind the song. Also listen to Do you Want to go back to Egypt. Keith's catalog is filled with some of the best Christian music.
Randy Travis also narrated a children Christmas movie -Annabells Wish-. That was close to 30years ago, but my daughter loved it
So sad regarding the statistics on marriage. My wife and i have been married 37+ years. Congratulations on 10 years!
You should also listen to country music singer Jerry Reed
A good one by Jerry Reed is -- she got the Gold mine I got the shaft. Lol you'll love it
Also try Tracy Byrd the Truth about Men and revenge of a middle aged woman.
Rock is about the riff…R&B is about the groove…Real Country has always been about the story.
Well said!!!!👏👏👏
Great channel very nice width !!!
You ought to check out Mac Davis - Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me. Red Sovine - Teddy Bear.
Too many to give you...but the first 15 songs that pop up are all probably #1s and they will all be songs that speak to your heart about wife, family, religion, etc. Randy was BIG.
Black P……PLEASE react to “The Little Girl” by John Michael Montgomery!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Liking your objectivity on country. It's at its best with Travis. Thanks dude. I like your style.❤
You picked another great song. Always touches my heart, makes my eyes water & gives me goosebumps!!!
"21 Years" , "Maybe Midnight" or "Promised Land" by TobyMac actually anything by TobyMac
This is a song about the gifts God gives each of us and how by using our gifts we can change and bless those around us even years after we are gone. Great message and awesome song.
Please listen to David Ball - riding with private Malone
Definitely this one!!!
Banger
You are correct on the meaning of the song.
Idk if you have already reacted to "I Believe" by Brooks and Dunn yet, BUT if you like this one, you will absolutely love it! The vocals are amazing! Also... sometimes I cry by chris stapleton
I Thought He Walked On Water!! Is my FAVORITE Randy Travis song!! PS. You meant Forever And Ever, Amen!! Remember When is by Alan Jackson!❤
Clear. Hypocrites didn't acknowledge the hooked. Even though Jesus embraced Mary M
Got me!
First time I’ve heard this song also. The title sounded familiar but I guess I’d never followed through with listening.
Thank you for this reaction.
