An old preacher I knew used to say you’ve never done something so bad that you can’t get saved and you’ve never been good enough that you don’t need a savior
From what I am hearing, you got it right. The three that died in the accident were The preacher, farmer and the teacher. The preacher handed the blood stained Bible to the hooker and asked "Can't you see the promise land?" Then the hooker must've straightened up her life and taught her son the ways of the good book. He grew up to be a preacher and told the story.
Yes. The farmer, the teacher, and the preacher had all left good, positive legacies behind them, but the hooker had not. So she was the one who survived, and was given a chance to leave her own positive legacy, which she did, by raising her son to be a preacher himself. Remember: "Why there's not four of them, now I guess we know."
One of my all time favorite songs by the amazing Randy Travis. Thanks for reacting to this. ❤. And yes, the survivor was the hooker and the preacher gave her his Bible. She taught her son well and led him to the right path and her son became a preacher.
The farmer left his land to his son. The teacher left wisdom in her students. The preacher left the Bible and a chance at redemption foe the hooker. When the hooker is gone, she left the word of God with her son. This is really the ultimate redemption song.
Thank you for doing my request! And yes you did get it! Another song Randy Travis did "Forever and Ever Amen" would be a great for a couple like y'all to react to. Home Free did the Song "God Bless the Broken Road" that would describe my husband and I who didn't meet till I was 36!
Ok so listened to this song many many times on our local country station years ago. Every time it brings tears to my eyes. You’re right the preacher gave his Bible to the hooker as he passed away. She read that bible to the now preacher. GOD IS AMAZING YALL
First of all thank you for all the reactions! Yall are beautiful. I'm #HOG but I'm also an old guy who has been a fan of Randy Travis since he broke out in 1989. Interesting career very successful country musician. God touched him and he wanted to start doing gospel. The record industry wouldn't allow it under contract. When his contract expired Randy dropped a few gospel cds that include some great heart felt music. This is only one of them. I encourage you to dive in if not on this channel for your own blessings. Thank you Marcus and Christian
Pray for the fish, when mama prayed, baptism, the carpenter, drive another nail, see myself in you. These were just a few off of his first 2 gospel albums over 20 yrs ago and he never went back to country music. Give it a listen and you won't regret it
The scariest version I've heard is it reversed, in the movie Constantine, a girl says she doesn't believe in the devil, and he says "well you should, because he believes in you"
Craig Morgan has a song called the father My Son and the Holy Ghost it is very moving an emotional his son who was 19 died in a Cuban accident and this song is his way of dealing with a grief God bless yall ❤❤
The timbre of his rich baritone voice is unparalleled. My favorite Randy Travis songs are Reasons I Cheat; Promises; Take Another Swing At Me; This is Me; Look Heart, No Hands; Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man; That’s Where I Draw the Line; I Told You So; The Box; He Walked On Water; Three Wooden Crosses; More Life; Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart; It’s Just a Matter of Time; On the Other Hand; and Forever and Ever Amen.
You got it right!!! Very astute!! Many reactors don’t get the story!! Very nice channel you have! I can see what a loving family you are! It feels like you genuinely care about your audience too! Very nice!! ❤
I hope y’all get it, most people don’t the first time they listen to it….the hooker had unfinished business here on earth and so it wasn’t her time but u will learn at the end what her purpose was, her son became a preacher and he used the Bible that the preacher that died put into his mama’s (hooker) hands
You got the main idea.3 wooden crosses because 3 people died. There are 2 preachers in the story.1 in the beginning who happened to be on the bus and 2 the son of the hooker who grew up to be a preacher. The 2nd one was telling the story.Nice job many miss it.
As you hold that baby, coming from a parent, the most devastating truth I ever heard was, "one day you will pick your child up, set them down, then never pick them up again".....don't ever stop picking that angel up
Randy Travis has another good song you should react to, I believe its simply titled "baptism". I'll have to check to make sure. But I think thats what its called. 😊❤ have a blessed rest of your day! 🙏🙌
I pressed the like button, but absolutely love your message. I always get emotional when I hear this song, so powerful! Randy is unable to perform now, due to a stroke. Stay blessed ✌🏻
It is such a blessing for you to share a positive marriage to this younger generation. I've been married 20 years in February. Keep God in your marriage and watch how he works. Love you both!
Randy is a legend! Last time I saw him he unfortunately wasn’t doing very well and he had to sit in a chair on stage to sing. But that voice was 💯 Randy! That was somewhere around 10-2” years ago
This is a song that tells us that no one is beyond the reach of God. As Christians we spread the Word not knowing how it may impact somebody’s life for Him. The simple gesture of handing a woman of ill repute a Bible led her to raising a son who would go on to leading others to Christ.
My top 3 singers of all time!!!!!!!!!! So many people have trouble following along to this song for some reason but I bet ya'll will get it. I'm 44 and grew up listening to Randy and he is perfection in my opinion when it comes to his voice and songs. Happy Thanksgiving ya'll... lets get into the video :)
Another great reaction! Love you both for helping me to hang on. Markis your 🎤 has a bad wire it cuts out on you. Watch the reaction you did on Love without end Amen! ❤️🙏 May God Bless you and your family?
The hooker survived the crash, the preacher handed her his Bible and said those words to her with his last breath. It changed her life forever, turned her life around and taught the word of God to her son in the future who ended up becoming the preacher that told his flock at the end of the song about the story.
The sheer power and drive in their music is absolutely mind-blowing. I'll leave you with a request. You have to react to October Ends' new song, it's mind-blowing!
Im athiest... and my entire family is southern Babtist and have tried for years to get me back in church.. I dont dislike it,, its just not for me.. but its strange, sooo many times watching yall,, im like ,, well maybe.. lol.. but anyways.. i love your reactions. keep it up. thanks a bunch.
Precious little one 😊❤ I’ve listened to this song a thousand times over the years, and here’s my take on it. The hooker was saved in the crash, because God already knew that her future son would one day be a preacher* Y’all should listen to some more songs by Randy Travis. He’s one of the greatest country singers, imo. Love your videos 😊
Your discussion of the song reminded me of the following lyrics from Yes's Awaken: Like the time I ran away And turned around And you were standing close to me The lyricist has confired that the meaning is that he has always found that when he has run away from God, whenever he turned back, God was there for him. It's something about human nature that we often go our own way,a nd something about God's nature that he is always there for us when we turn back.
Here is a song you should listen to called Mother Of Mine by a 12 year old Scottish boy called Neil Reid from 1971 and it reached number 2 in the UK charts
Great reaction to a powerful song, and it's cool to see the baby in this video. It's just too bad that Marcus' microphone kept cutting out. I was really interested in hearing both of your commentary. He's right about the three crosses from the crucifixion, but it has a double meaning in this song. So you're both right.
Where was the Driver of the bus??? In 2013 Randy had an viral cardiomyopathy that ended up having a Stock n had a surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain n developed aphasia. Since then he has undergone extensive physical Therapy n working with speech therapists. He is still writing songs n improved alittle on his speech. Has become a advocate for Stroke awareness. His wife has stood by him since their marriage n told him to fight for his life.
i used to be religious growing up and since then its been a tough relationship. but i wanted to say i really appreciate how you both share your faith instead of pushing it on people. i think theres a fine line but this beautiful woman and what she says almost makes me want to start a new conversation with god. maybe try again. all my love to you and your beautiful child!
literally nobody is getting this halfway through, i sit knowing the song thinking "wait for it" dont think, just listen. in the end it hits you (and it hit you hard! lol) prayers and virtual chicken soup for your little one hope she's well soon.
The song is sung by a boy describing the story told to him and the congregation of his church by their pastor, who got the Bible from his mother - the hooker who survived the accident.
I don’t know if you have done a reaction to this song or not but check out drunk girl by Chris janson. It’s a really good song. I played it for my 13 yr old son. He smiled and said message received mama.
The Farmer , Teacher and Preacher were the 3 with a cross on the right side of the Highway. Before the Preacher dies - He gives his BloodStained bible to the { Hooker } and asks can't you see the Promise Land. The Hooker takes the bible ; embraces it and passe's its teachings onto her son who then becomes a Preacher _ who was telling the story of the 3 Wooden Crosse's.
The hooker lived. The preacher gave her his Bible before he died. She read it and read it to her son who became a preacher. Some might wonder, why would God take the preacher, the teacher and the farmer and let the hooker live. In the last verse we see His purpose for doing that.
An old preacher I knew used to say you’ve never done something so bad that you can’t get saved and you’ve never been good enough that you don’t need a savior

Exactly!
That is right
No the hooker and preacher lived but the driver farmer and teacher died
Yes. The farmer, the teacher, and the preacher had all left good, positive legacies behind them, but the hooker had not. So she was the one who survived, and was given a chance to leave her own positive legacy, which she did, by raising her son to be a preacher himself. What makes this song so great is that yes it is sad. But over all it is uplifting.
Indeed. It's not the death that touches. It's the life, faith, and blessing that continues afterwards.
One of my all time favorite songs by the amazing Randy Travis. Thanks for reacting to this. ❤. And yes, the survivor was the hooker and the preacher gave her his Bible. She taught her son well and led him to the right path and her son became a preacher.

Home Free did the Song "God Bless the Broken Road" that would describe my husband and I who didn't meet till I was 36!
We are never too far off for God to come to us, nice expression, thanks all three for sharing your time with me.
She raised her son in the church... she read the Bible the preacher gave her! She developed a relationship with the Lord!
Randy Travis never disappoints. Several years ago Randy had a stroke and God saved him by saying it's not your time🙏
Yes, the preacher's final dying act was to save one more lost soul.
Ok so listened to this song many many times on our local country station years ago. Every time it brings tears to my eyes. You’re right the preacher gave his Bible to the hooker as he passed away. She read that bible to the now preacher. GOD IS AMAZING YALL
Amazing song! Randy's a legend!
Dad still reacting with baby crashed on him is big-time vibes and I'm here for it haha
I love the instant jaw drop when the song answered your question lol
OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST IS OUR VERY BEST FRIEND IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE ❤✝️❤
God bless you! What you said about your never too far gone for God to reach you...really hits my heart hard. Thank you.
First of all thank you for all the reactions! Yall are beautiful. I'm #HOG but I'm also an old guy who has been a fan of Randy Travis since he broke out in 1989. Thanks for posting. These few verses pack a lot of story-telling. "Meanwhile, Daddy's the best live pillow in the house!"
One of my favorite quotes is "an atheist tells a priest that he doesn't believe in God and the priest responds God believes in you"
Only by the grace of GOD the hooker lived, changed her life and raised a son whom became a preacher.
❤😭
The scariest version I've heard is it reversed, in the movie Constantine, a girl says she doesn't believe in the devil, and he says "well you should, because he believes in you"
Praise God All the time.
Craig Morgan has a song called the father My Son and the Holy Ghost it is very moving an emotional his son who was 19 died in a Cuban accident and this song is his way of dealing with a grief God bless yall ❤❤
Autocorrect. Not a Cuban accident, but a tubing accident.
The most precious package on this video reaction is the Angel laying no daddy’s chest. I pray she feels better soon. Much ❤ much much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You’ve had my favorite reaction to hearing the one line that wraps it all up. So many people miss it. So I loved the 😮🤣❤️
Perfectly captured the story and its truth of that song. Bless both of you and your family.
Thus one will bring tears to everyone with a heart

You can NEVER sink lower than the Light of Christ shines ❤
I’ve never been able to get through this song without bawling after all my years of listening to it.
Another amazing song by Randy Travis is called Angels. We played it in our wedding when the mothers walked in. Great song for moms
Love you guys...wish and pray for yall and yours..a 😊 happy life...62 year old former marine from south carolina..
Get chills in my body every time I hear this song❤😢
The main thing to remember is that the Word of the LORD, will always go forward to the next generation,as it was passed on in this song.
God can use anyone to further His plan!
I hope y’all get it, most people don’t the first time they listen to it….the hooker had unfinished business here on earth and so it wasn’t her time but u will learn at the end what her purpose was, her son became a preacher and he used the Bible that the preacher that died put into his mama’s (hooker) hands

It is a duet for Randy Travis and Kenny Chesney. It is a very good song.
You got the story that Randy was telling!
Randy Travis is a country music legend who suffered with alcohol until he finally had stroke!..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
I pressed the like button, but absolutely love your message. I always get emotional when I hear this song, so powerful! Randy is unable to perform now, due to a stroke. Stay blessed ✌🏻
Amen life is for learning and we don’t know how much we are spared to live on this planet and I don’t deserve anything so amen 😊
It is such a blessing for you to share a positive marriage to this younger generation. I've been married 20 years in February. Keep God in your marriage and watch how he works. Love you both!
this song always hits me in the feels ufff

I love this song Randy Travis is my favorite you will be amazed at 2 other songs he does "Pray for the fish" and "when mama prays"
I learned the meaning of this song from someone else’s reaction video today and I’ll never listen to this song again without crying.
Amen sister.
Love Randy❤❤

You can never outrun, or go beyond the reaches, of the long arm of the Lord
Forever and ever amen by Randy Travis
That is such a lovely sight, starting at 6:53... And ending with the very last second of this reaction. It was nicely done. ♥
Love that you actually got the song. Very few reactors grasp or get the meaning that the hooker lived and her son became a preacher
She was the preacher's mama. The preacher told the story last Sunday, as he held that Bible up for everyone to see.
You got it🙏❤💥
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life, I was given life that I might enjoy all things......
I got through half of this song and had to restart the whole video, because I always tear up when hear it, always..
God bless....great song and ty for reacting ❤
This is a lesson from god that we all need
Your reaction blessed me. ☺
"Let me try and sort the story out before it's told." Just listen to the entire song and you'll get an answer.
Peace, Love!!
y'all are so sweet!
Another great reaction! Love you both for helping me to hang on. Markis your 🎤 has a bad wire it cuts out on you. Watch the reaction you did on Love without end Amen! ❤️🙏 May God Bless you and your family?

It's about absolution!
This is a great song, but whenever I hear it I wish he'd left room in it for the drivers: the bus driver and the truck driver.
More beautiful country:
Randy Travis & Kenny Chesney - The Baptism
Josh Turner -Long Black Train
Yeah , this is a great song.
Did you notice the way one of the opening lines was two of them were searching for lost souls?
Hope yalls little one gets better just subbed a well loved the reaction
Randy Travis was saved by the Grace of God.
literally nobody is getting this halfway through, i sit knowing the song thinking "wait for it" dont think, just listen. in the end it hits you (and it hit you hard! lol) prayers and virtual chicken soup for your little one hope she's well soon.
If you haven’t done it, Josh Turner, long, black train is a great song.
Nice job kids 👍👍

Great song 😢
Mary Magdalene was a fallen woman too, and God didn't give up on her either.
Great reaction you should do next almost home the one jelly roll did at grad ole Oprah is awesome
