woah thats crazy, i literally checked my subscriptions yesterday and got reminded of this channel and thought youtube just stopped sending me alerts but nope, you just now got back?? you have fabulous psychic powers
SHE UPLOADS AGAIN !! I'm so happy to see this in my feed ! I absolutely love the cover; both the sound of the instruments and the feel of the piece (that I didn't know).
i just read your community section, i never ever noticed it before. i dont know your life, but it looks like youve been facing alot of setbacks, but youre still determined to keep pursuing your passion projects eventually, and i think thats great. good luck and good job
Nice GBA style cover of the song, and welcome back to music making after many years and months, and welcome to Furnace, and I hope you make many more Furnace tunes in the future!😄🤩😎👌🥳🎆🎇🎈🪅🎊🎉
This is so cool! Really neat to see something like this. If you spend any more time experimenting with this, I look forward to hearing the results. But I can understand your feelings about wanting more. Do whatever you need to do to find fulfillment, good luck wherever that takes you!
This is really wonderful and it's super interesting to see your experimentation with Furnace! The program looks really fascinating, with the only issue I've run into being its kind of intimidating number of options and some mild workflow issues. I find myself really wishing it had a manual at the moment. Still, it offers so much potential that I'm excited to explore when I get around to it! I'm sorry to hear about your life troubles and I wish you the best. Good luck!
With your symphonic knowledge and this program combined, your skill for creating these covers is second to none, and those you work with should see and appreciate it. You deserve happiness in your life, and I hope that you can find it soon with your projects and music. I really hope you continue to produce wonderful tracks like this when you have time, your talent and passion are sorely missed!
You might be exaggerating a bit... I know how to make a soundchip sound good (provided it's not FM) but I really struggle with making original music... Thanks anyway tho!
Please don't sell yourself short, you have great talent which has only improved over the years. The real secret to your skill and ability, though, is your passion - that is something that not many people in the world have, and what makes you and your work shine far above the rest!
Hey, great to hear from you! I'm really liking what I'm hearing here too, though I'll need to break out the ol headphones later to really enjoy (mobile atm). The GBA does have a really nice sound chip design that almost seemed to take a little inspiration from the PC-FX (albeit on a portable cartridge based scale). I was always a bit disappointed that more PCE games didn't take advantage of the CD system's 7th (ADPCM) sound channel in combination with the other 6 voices. There could have been a lot of really neat new style content potential, especially if using the CD to load complicated data streams of fully orchestrated instruments while the WSG voices were running. Alas, I suppose if the title was gonna be on CD anyway red book was just to tempting/easy/high quality. Someday I would like to take a stab at Jazz Jackrabbit's 'Medivo' in that style.
Now that you mention it, yeah, like, the PC-FX's sound hardware was Literally Just The PCE One, but with two added sample channels... (At least I heard it was two) But I've NEVER heard them being used like this... Probably cuz it wasn't necessary honestly, but *Sometimes* games for the system used the wavetable channels for the music and it just sounds like a PCE... But then again, I've not played that much on the system cuz uhh... There just isn't that much in it worth playing sadly...
Good to see you again :D Btw, you mentioned about having issues with video editors. You've probably already tried it but have you heard of shotcut? It's pretty feature heavy and completely free. I've been using it for a few years now and never had any issues with it :)
This is really nice, well done! BTW, I still managed to keep Windows 7 going (was a little tough, but possible) even with a 2021-2022 motherboard upgrade. I have 2 other partitions for Win10/11 which is fine when/if needed, but I mostly like to get any work done on Win7 still.
I was using Win7 up until the middle of last year, but after getting a new laptop I decided to bite the bullet and install Win10 despite really not wanting to... I was already starting to get issues with newer programs no longer working properly on Win7... But I've put in the effort to make Win10 not suck as much as possible (thanks OpenShell)
I was hoping of making my own mix with the Etrian Odyssey soundtracks using Furnace someday. Watching this gives me motivation. The Furnace Tracker is really something else, what a power tool it is. Also how do you edit your Furnace theme like that? I'd love to do a makeover on mines.
Good luck on that! It's on the settings menu, under the "Appearance" tab, the colour schemes are all they way down at the very bottom, it's a rather laborious process but it was definitely worth it for me cuz that default colour scheme was borderline unreadable for me...
This is pretty good, i love it. Sad to hear you had problems with blender, i odn't know much about video editing but i know it's hard when every tool has problems. I also miss windows 7 but i couldn't keep using it for work related reasons.
Thanks! You know, thing is, Blender is the one that DIDN'T give me problems, it's just finicky to use for video editing, the user-experience is *Vastly Different* from your average video editor... (And quite frankly, not nearly as intuitive) It was just everything else that either didn't work, or was even worse than Blender... And yeah like... If I could just keep using Windows 7 forever, I would, but sadly it's just not viable anymore, with more and more programs and games just not supporting it anymore... It's sad, cuz that was the best Windows... Still is...
Ok, so the channel got terminated but thank goodness it’s back up! Yeah!
Yeah, RUclips decided to take it down AFTER I already had everything under control, talk about incompetence...

I really liked your PC Engine conversion of Lorde's "Team" too! 🙂

As this is the newest vid, just a comment wondering if that Crypto stream thing was a hack or intentional.
It was a hack, crypto is bad, always has been, always will
@@Michirin9801 Glad to hear the channel's safe then! (And yeah, crypto is cancer)
Hi there! Any chance You could share this color scheme file?😊

Did you ever considered making a track for X16's VERA PSG
Considered, yeah, but not in a hurry...

oh my gahhhh michirinnn
Coming here since the latest version of Furnace Tracker has officially supported GBA sound chip via DMA or MiniMod
I've been told, but thanks for reminding me anyway! I'll be hopefully testing it out somewhat soon!

No, the channel got hacked
The channel got hacked. It has been a problem for a while that crypto miners and the like somehow steal channels to promote their dumb stuff.
