- Hello Everyone!
We apologize for the incredibly lengthy delay but if you are visiting the wonderful country of Brazil do be sure to make a quick 2 to 3 day stop in Iguazu Falls. If budget allows, we strongly recommend staying at The Belmond as it is located directly inside the park adjacent to the falls and within a short less than 30 second walk. You will also beat the crowds that are not lodging in the park affording you ample opportunity to take pictures, videos, or soak in the peacefulness without the day trippers.
Macuco Safari we strongly suggest booking for an activity. You will be taken on a short tram ride through the rainforest complete with informative details about the local niches. Then, you are taken on a guided walk and finally a river boat tour where you will be absolutely drenched. The boat captain carefully navigates upriver where occupants will have a chance to take photos and videos after which the fun starts! The captain guides the boat adjacent to powerful cascading falls where each occupant will be soaked.
A quick 10 min helicopter tour provided a birds eye view of these stunning falls. Undoubtedly, Igauzu were the best sets of waterfalls we have seen in the world thus far.

Marlon, GREAT to see you and Gabby traveling again, YO you said you had an injury? you good bro? //// man, I was planning this trip for Dec 2024, how hard was it to get to Iguaza Falls? did you spend time in RIo? The boat ride looked DOPE AF
I ruptured my Achilles in March 2023. I’m okay now still not 100% but considerably better.
It’s easy to get to Iguazu. Take a domestic flight from Rio and stay at The Belmond if budget allows or down the street in the town.
Spent about 7 days in Rio. It is an underrated and undervisited city.
We will be staying at this hotel next month, flying into IGR airport. Im wondering how you got to the hotel from the airport?

We took a taxi. Should be a good amount outside the airport. Price negotiable and inexpensive but the drive is about 5 min to the national park entrance gate. A shuttle from the hotel will pick you up from there and expect a slow drive (they adhere to the park speed limit). Arrive in about 20 min more or less.
Have so much fun Iguazu is magical at first and last light.

When you arrive to the national park gate there is a reception lobby. It is small and there will be a representative there to call the shuttle for you. You might be welcomed with fresh drinks and small towels as well.
