I would have never paid for Katzkin seats from the factory, but after buying my 21 JTR with them, I won't buy another without them. I spend all day in my Jeep and love those seats, so comfortable. Now I want heated and cooled seats. Thanks Kevin and Brittnay.
This 'How it is made' series is great. I am learning a lot. Thank you. After you are done it would be nice to see one or two on failures and how to overcome them. One that I have had issues with on my '21 diesel Wrangler is Death Wobble I had it for the first 4 5000 miles until after rebuilding the entire front end we got rid of the wobble.
Thank you for such an awesome video!! It is great to see how the seats were reengineered and made! I'm going to look in to these seats for my next car..., I hope to be a jeep.
I promised Matt that you'd bring him an easy hundred thousand viewers and a physical crowd for the events, so you're IN for the last slot. Now, make me proud! Take the gold!
For the sixth year, thank you Brittany for your hard work excellent editing and welcoming smile, thank you Kevin for sharing your enthusiasm, skilled driving, chauffeuring the talent, and learning to hold a camera and a fart at the same time 🤣😂🤣thanks Chris for you craftsmanship and good humour HAPPY NEW YEAR, LITEBRITE NATION
Thanks for getting the Behind The Scenes of Katzkin. I have heated and cooled seats in my Duramax and the seats are getting worn after 185,000 miles. Happy New Year!!!
When Kevin said "I'm gonna throw my dogs into there", reminds me my interview for my very first job, a company doing high end electronic connectors (some for F1! 💪) The guy said: "Imagine we're selling Ferraris, if the owner wants to scratch it, that's his matter, but when it leave our shelfs, it must be perfect" 😁 Also, I believe it's the time of the year we wish people good thing for the new number of year we count. Happy trails! 😛
My 2015 SRT Challenger has cooled/heated seats that work great & are amazingly comfortable. I would think this would be a cheap swap. 🤔 Very much enjoyed the video 👍
Took jeep long enough to add ventilated seats. I have a 23 canyon AT4X and the seats are like rocks. Hoping they will bring out a softer ki for the front seats
Was surprised to see they actually make seats for my 2nd gen 4runner..currently have original cloth seats, wasn't planning on ever doing more than putting some halfway decent seat covers in there but heated and cooled seats?...hmm 😂
Kowabungah! Leather and vinyl and parts; Oh My! Yes Kevin, we geek out over the How Is It Made stuff too! Amazing processes, and you managed again to find the right excess of personality tour guide! So, whatcha gonna do with yer old PRP Jelly hair seats? LiteBriteNationBestSeatsInTheHouse!
I wanted Katzkins for my High Velocity, but the only color that worked was black. They have no two toned colors that matched. Not even thread for embroidery. Was very disappointed in Katzkin. They are very old-school and not keep up with the latest colors.
Well Kevin I'm wondering if you could get some adjustable foot pedal for your Jeep. I think I saw some offered in the Ford Taurus as a extra maybe you could get some and have Chris adapte them to your Jeep 🚙 anyway its just an idea 💡
That’s cool. But I have had cooled and heated in my 2018 JL and also my 20 gladiator Did the JL in early 2019 then the gladiator 2 days after getting it.
How do you get around the factory seatbelt locking on inclines? In my JL, if we get out to help someone, spot, or just wait our turn, and we are on an incline, the factory belts lock and will not allow you to put them on. I could see at least the need to keep an aftermarket lap belt in.
I'm wondering if the PRP bracket for a JL positions their seats differently or has different dimensions than that of a JK because I'm a little guy, 5'5" and have PRP bracket & Enduro Elites and reaching the pedals isn't a problem...now seeing over the cross bar for my cage which spans across the dash is what pains me. I actually have to sit on a booster cushion Lol. If Katskinz makes this for JKs I might be interested. Jeep looks dope but not gonna lie, I might be a little mad if I was Marvin Lol
Just had my Katzkin seats done with the Degreez heated and cooled system. Not impressed with the heat. Takes 10 to 15 minutes to notice a slight change with max heating set on both front seats. The cooled system seems to work very well and quickly notice it is working. Really disappointed if this how the heated degreez system works and the cost of Degreez. I’m contacting Katzkin with my concerns. Hopefully everyone has a better experience with Degreez. The katzkin leather are amazing though.
Nice job and nice product, but only question is on the cooling. Is it ventilated or cooled? Meaning do they use the thermoelectric setup which works like a mini heat pump or is it just pulling air from the cooler area in the cabin like under the seats when the AC is on in the vehicle? It's not clear on their website. I'm really interested in this for my dad's TJ that I just recently built up for him. Have had ALOT of views on this little video on my channel and one of the questions I get from folks is if I plan on customizing the interior with OEM look but new technology like the heated and now available cool seat options. Thanks
As fast as you drive the Jeep you should have been wearing the 5 point harnesses, and crawling too. But, I do get what you are saying about the backseat passengers. Be safe guys, I don’t want anything to happen to you. I like your content to much.
I think these are cool but this company not understand the Jeep community We like to do the upgrades ourselves I've looked into so many times and I get into like some installer that wants to charge me three grand or four grand to put this in when all I need is the part and I can do it myself I've done upholstery in all of my Jeeps I've changed it from cloth to leather from leather to leather I just wish they'd sell a kit for the do-it-yourselfer that's all Great video by the way!
Thank you for taking us on a tour , and you get to know the manufacturer and see the passion, so making a decision on leather upholstery easier ❤
Exactly. And you know how much work and dedication goes into it
I like these tours of the manufacturers facilities. It provides you the BTS look at how things come together. Happy New Year and Trails to all at LBN.
We really love doing them!
I geek out on how it's made as well 🤘🏻that's why I enjoy watching Chris doing what he does best!
100% we absolutely love how the hedge big companies and factories work to bring us amazing products.
Products are always on the next level when the people who make them take pride in their job. Great tour.
Right! Totally agree. These guys love what they do!
I would have never paid for Katzkin seats from the factory, but after buying my 21 JTR with them, I won't buy another without them. I spend all day in my Jeep and love those seats, so comfortable. Now I want heated and cooled seats. Thanks Kevin and Brittnay.
Super awesome manufacturing video, Thank You for sharing. Saludos a todos los trabajadores en esta fabrica. Cheers guys!
Congrats on the invite to the Offroad Games and your welcome!

This is a fascinating tour... thank you for sharing this. I love the background details of the factory and of your upgrade decision.

Like Kevin, I also geek out on these videos...thanks for sharing.
I promised Matt that you'd bring him an easy hundred thousand viewers and a physical crowd for the events, so you're IN for the last slot. Now, make me proud! Take the gold!
I could listen to that fella read an entire book. Voice like a smooth bourbon. What a great tour!
Been saving up for some since I grabbed my JT. Just got wiped out from tree crashes through roof storm damage. So gonna take a long minute.
I have Katzskin seats in my 2016 Ram Minotaur and love having the heated and cooled seats! Wife is happy too! Lol
I personally love the how-to videos as well!!
Congratulations we did our part in getting u into the offroad games ..... make us proud
Just went back to the factory rubicon seats after having corbeau’s for 3 years. So much better.
If only car manufacturers had their type of quality inspections there would be less recalls. Those seats look sic!
For the sixth year, thank you Brittany for your hard work excellent editing and welcoming smile, thank you Kevin for sharing your enthusiasm, skilled driving, chauffeuring the talent, and learning to hold a camera and a fart at the same time 🤣😂🤣thanks Chris for you craftsmanship and good humour

Those seats are sweet and well worth the price, also check into armor light flooring also well worth every cent
Very interesting and informative video. The finished seats look fantastic. So nice to see high quality materials and workmanship come together.
My Rubicon heated sets are crazy aswome, love them to have them cooled yes would be a game changer
The seats looked good.
When Kevin said "I'm gonna throw my dogs into there", reminds me my interview for my very first job, a company doing high end electronic connectors (some for F1! 💪) The guy said: "Imagine we're selling Ferraris, if the owner wants to scratch it, that's his matter, but when it leave our shelfs, it must be perfect" 😁

Yup, thanks for the video. I love Y’all’s enthusiasm. 👍🇺🇸

My 2015 SRT Challenger has cooled/heated seats that work great & are amazingly comfortable. I would think this would be a cheap swap. 🤔 Very much enjoyed the video 👍
That is a great piece, thanks!
Took jeep long enough to add ventilated seats.

Really nice meeting u guys at Trailhero, the install look awesome.
Was surprised to see they actually make seats for my 2nd gen 4runner..currently have original cloth seats, wasn't planning on ever doing more than putting some halfway decent seat covers in there but heated and cooled seats?...hmm 😂
Good luck at the Off Road games!!
Those seats look so freaking comfortable. And yes, you guys have a lot of fault for our upgrades, lol. Great job, guys.
Those are some sweet seats. Now I need to replace the ones on our Gen6 Bronco.
Most upholstery shops are nothing like theres. You guys should check out small upholstery shops.. I'm from north Idaho. Cda...

Awesome. Time to get my raptor gen 1 seats redone . Happy New Years guys 🎊 🎉
I wanted Katzkins for my High Velocity, but the only color that worked was black. They have no two toned colors that matched. Not even thread for embroidery. Was very disappointed in Katzkin. They are very old-school and not keep up with the latest colors.
That’s crazy because they make stuff for all new oem vehicles and old ones too
Seriously thought Kevin was gonna say we're getting the Demon back! For temp controlled seats!!! I was all for it!😂😂😂
Haha. This is much better. We miss the stepchild so much
Very cool!!! Katzkin and Lite Brite for the win!!!

Thank you Kevin thank you Brittany that was really really informative and I greatly appreciate it. Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Now, when will they come out with a standalone heated/cooled seat setup?
Well Kevin I'm wondering if you could get some adjustable foot pedal for your Jeep. I think I saw some offered in the Ford Taurus as a extra maybe you could get some and have Chris adapte them to your Jeep 🚙 anyway its just an idea 💡
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YINZ AND LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE GREAT VIDEOS!!! Enjoy your new seats!!
Happy new year!!

Happy New Year, and thank you for the video
Happy New Year!!
Oh what? You didn't go with the original seat Jelly fur option? Perhaps that is an add on for later. :)
I just got katzkin in my jk, I love the seats now!
That’s awesome, love seeing these types of videos.
Great video!
Kevin, I see that you are cutting up keep up the good work… looking shredded💯
I am! Down 40lbs woot woot

Oh to be the seat cushion in the passenger seat!!!
Cool production video!
We like doing these

Very nice. Can ya cool the seat and Heat the back at same time
Technically yes if you want to wire it that way
Agree the older I get more I want better interiors. And have to have heated seat for wife. Cooler seats for me.
Heated and cooled seats. Is Kevin starting to play for the other team?
Awesome keep doing those videos

Entertained and educated, all in the same video. What's not to like?
Right!
He’s not short, he’s not tall, he’s a Muscle Hamster!
Kevin's getting a booster seat!!!😂😂😂
Hahahah. Always and forever
I do upholstery and I can tell you that some seats are a pain. I'm a single person. So I don't have overhead.
It’s crazy how hard it is. We need some custom work done so if you are interested please email us at litebriteracing@gmail.com
@@LiteBrite i will email some of my work. + I do drive a 2005 jeep wrangler.. I do boats cars some Furniture.
@@LiteBrite ps I'm in Coeur d Alene idaho. So im up north from you guys. And I work from home.
Very COOL!
video's are always blurry now at 1080p post in higher quality
What if you want flaws in the leather, is there an option for that?
Haha I asked the same thing. What if some of us want the defects. I like the defects ya know
