I just ordered a P1S (taking advantage of the discounts, my first printer) and printing bodies is something I've always wanted to do. So, I'm watching this build closely. Thank you for updating us on your ongoing projects. I really like the channel. 👍
Hi Rebecca! Here is my formal petition to rename the show "what's on the desk". Matt, I'm quite impressed on how well you work with your limited space.
I’ve been waiting to see the Ranger again for a long time! Glad to finally see it back on the bench! Ended up making my own I-Beam Ranger and it’s seen better days but I it holds a special place in my heart! Need a little tlc now though! 😅
I love the Land Cruiser and your chassis choice. As far as tires, I do love the general grabbers and would only recommend stretching them over some 1.9 wheels. The stand up desk is awesome as well. I use an antique jewelers bench and it’s high enough that I can stand as well 🙂
looking good . i am going to try my hand at a printed body . i am having a 1977 dodge ramcharger in 1/10 printed from a file on cults . i plan to put a TF2 chassis under it .
If you want to stay with the General Grabber branding, the 1.55 size Element Enduro/Trailrunner tires come in just under 100mm overall diameter (3.85"), so might suit the Land Cruiser a little better?
Oh man a little 1/18 prerunner would be a blast! I just finished a 10th scale build, and it's so much fun to hoon around in the dirt, but it needs a fair bit of space. Something tiny like that I could bring along and play with while I'm waiting for my son to get off school. I've looked at the little 1/32 Orlandoo Hunter one, but it seems a bit too small
Hi Mathew, For scale 1/10 trailcars i uses Mickey Thompson tires, 1.55 baja mtz. They’re a real copy and preform so good despite the size. Just did a 4runner from cults and again it where the thompsin tires. Good looking project and luuuuve the toyoda model. Best from Denmark 🇩🇰
The truck is coming along great. Those tires are a good size but i like bfg mud terrains better. For looks anyways, i couldn't say as to performance 🤘🍻🤘
Matt, regarding the Ranger fenders, once you get one fender built, wouldn’t it be beneficial to 3d scan it? Then you can creat a digital file of it and mirror it to make the other side the exact same. Then 3d print the fenders, and make them more easily replaced if they do break in a crash.
as for tires, i think the Yokohama Geolandar's but i think those only come in 4.75 and i feel like thats too big, maybe shoot for a 4.19 BFG KM2/KM3, i have them and really like them alot. it looks great! cant wait too see the finished product! dont forget to flock the floors and mats if you do interior!
For my Landcruiser build, I went with RC4WD Dick Cepek Fun Country 1.55 tires. However, I've noticed that there is a thing with you and RC4WD so there's that lol....and if ya like trail videos, I'm not good but I have a few lol.
Are you going to put outrunnery in that amazing looking Land Cruiser? Personally, I think those 4.19 make that thing look pretty good. I wouldn't go much smaller than 4" if you swap out at all. Those seem to work, imo. But I like a little offset and full wheel wells. All depends on the contact I s'pose.
Hey Matt, do you have a video with tips on glueing/bonding a multi piece ABS 3D printed body? I’m also looking for any tips on the surface prep before painting. Vapor smoothing vs sanding. This Land Cruiser turned out awesome!
Hey Matt any chance we're going to see your snowmobile finished and running this winter? Glad to see the pre runner truck back on the bench and your thinking about working on it again. God bless and keep wheeling 🙏
Just an idea for the ford f'in ranger rear arches, you said something about it having trouble with the curves, could you not just make it go and kind of hook over the top
@@scalebuildersguild we had school chairs like that a long long time ago. Its cool vintage. Your build skills are the best. Wow what amazing machines from that tiny room. Sure liked what you did with the slash sleighs and traxxas 4tec 2.0 30s ford convert.
@@scalebuildersguild show us what you think of it. My trucks are brushed motors. New product . We i show all the trx4m owners didnt know about it. They all buy 1.

Thank you so much! Good luck with your print and glad that my videos help!
Hi Rebecca! Here is my formal petition to rename the show "what's on the desk". Matt, I'm quite impressed on how well you work with your limited space.
Ha! I'll pass on your suggestion!
The Land Cruiser looks good but my heart is with the Ranger 😊 great job on both 👏 👍
Thanks 👍
Yes! Been waiting to see that i beam ranger again!
I really like the Pitbull Berseker in 1.55 they look and perform well
Matt, you've got so many epic builds! I long for the day that I can be there too! 🤞🥴

Damn That Chaiiiiir!!!!! lol
Really looking forward to seeing the Land Cruiser come together! It's gonna be sweet...
Excited to see some more styrene work getting done, I like old school ways of building.
1.55 Grabber on a 1.9 wheel might look pretty good. LC250 lookin great!
That freaking Land Cruiser is sick Bro
Thank you!
Man, Matt that LC body looks sooo good. Great choice! Can't wait to see it finished.
SBG4LIFE
Jeeeez I’m drooling over that Land Cruiser. I think some Falken Wildpeak A/T’s would look nice and very realistic.
Hmmm... with this Land Cruiser, I might go back to building scale crawlers :) even if I will just put it on the shelf after LOL. Great Video !
Go for it!
Definitely go with the super swampers
Hell yeah! I added a standing desk to my workspace and I felt inspired too. More SBG videos is great to hear!
Nice! It really makes a difference!

Sir, you do some beautiful work on these bodies! Maybe a step-by-step build for us rookies!
Love the Ranger! I’m really considering the Beams kit for my SCX-10ii.

The Toyota is looking awesome! I’m thinking you should do What’s After the Bench.

now this is cool, love the IFS! I want IFS for my trx4m or fcx18

Love what you do. Keep it up!
Thank you!
I think some Duratrax Deepwoods pre-mounts or something that looks EXACTLY the same would look good with that beautiful LC body.
I see what you did there! 😂
Land cruiser will look great! 👌

Speaking of the TRX4M Bronco, I recently put the Injora Fat Viper in mine, gets that slow crawl & I'm definitely impressed!
Thanks for the demo on trx4m brushless system just bought one for my f150
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
The truck is coming along great. Those tires are a good size but i like bfg mud terrains better. For looks anyways, i couldn't say as to performance 🤘🍻🤘
RC4WD has Falken Wildpeak AT Trail tires that might look good on the Land Cruiser. They are a crossover AT tire.

You sir, are the reason I read through all my comments! Great idea, thank you!!
Happy to help.
1.55” proline interco super swamper TSL SXii tires. They’re 1.55”IDiameter/3.85”ODiameter. They look like the 1:1 super swampers.
Man that cruiser build is so cool! Can’t wait to see it finished, amazing work as always 👍🏽
Thank you!
I just mounted a set of 3.93 Hunks on Treal vintage black wheels. Chef’s kiss🤌

Can we get a convertible Donk build already? Moving driver.. you, obviously. In an adidas track suit. Again, obviously.
Tires look great, but it needs Toyota styled wheels! 5:00
Element 1.55 General Grabbers might look good, or Proline BFG Class 0 Krawlers though they are pretty small.
I forgot all about that prerunner
That Toyota looks incredible dude! Wish I had half of your patience. Those tires looks fine. Must say the Toyota paint was a great choice
Thank you!
Proline just dropped the 4.19 BFG KO2.... Can't go wrong with the VP Falken 4.19 either!
Hey Matt, I think some 1.9 Goodyear Wranglers would look great on the LC250
i`d go with trx4m leafer setup
You certainly did chuff yourself, didn't you. 😂
lookin sick 🔥
Everything is looking awesome.🎉. Also congrats on almost 100k subs. RUclips plack incoming
Fingers crossed! Would be a great way to finish off the year!
I laughed a lil too hard at the what’s the bench joke
"I've chuffed myself ". Lol
Happy to see the prerunner coming back. Sweet desk. Did you get the wife one?
Not yet!

I’ve done a bunch, watch through some of the more recent episodes and I go over my process on this LC body!
@@scalebuildersguild Perfect! Thanks for all the info and entertainment.
Any word on the litigation between ccxrc and Harley designs?
You'd have to ask him!
Hey Matt any chance we're going to see your snowmobile finished and running this winter? Glad to see the pre runner truck back on the bench and your thinking about working on it again. God bless and keep wheeling 🙏
I'm hoping to fix it and get it out again this winter! 🤞
I feel like a 4.19 would fit the Land Cruiser the best maybe a pit bull tire make fit the look 🤷
The class 1 KM3s or KM2s from proline would look cool on that Land Cruiser and do they do the Falcon Wild Peaks in a class 1?
I’m not the biggest scale nerd, I prefer cheater rigs. But holy shit, that build is so cool! 😎
Thank you!
Do you ever clear coat your bodies for extra shine & protection?
Yes, this LC body got a 1k clear coat.
Do you print windshields and glass for your 3d printed bodies also?
No, I typically cut them from Lexan. Sometimes, depending on the body kit, they will give you templates for the perfect size and shape.
Just an idea for the ford f'in ranger rear arches, you said something about it having trouble with the curves, could you not just make it go and kind of hook over the top
Not quite how I want to do it, don’t worry, I’ve got a few experiments to try!
Pro-line BF Goodrich KM3's? :-)
I thought it was a Honda Element lol.
Bfg all terrain ko2 tires?
Did you steal that chair from a 1966 school room. Looks like my old chair.
It's definitely vintage! Bought it from a store, but don't know where it came from.
@@scalebuildersguild we had school chairs like that a long long time ago. Its cool vintage. Your build skills are the best. Wow what amazing machines from that tiny room. Sure liked what you did with the slash sleighs and traxxas 4tec 2.0 30s ford convert.

Did you get the 2 speed for the trx4m
Yes, I installed it in the TRX4-MT

Hey the ears have turned back to a normal shade of pink
😂
What printer model do you have?
Bambu X1 Carbon
Question is did you save ever failed printed rear fender Just in case 😂😂
No MTR's??
Get the LC finished and run it then get bored it and I’ll send you a mailing address. 😊
Ha!
Soo, is this like a 3d printed Element RunnerCruiser???? Congrats buying this bench with your own money & not Rebecca's 😂
👍🇨🇦🤠
EPISODE 1077??
Tuned out awesome! Sexy, what’s on the bench !………………….
Thank you!
The worst cruiser ever.
