I had projects that were supposed to be quick. But with work and having a million projects that’s never the case. I have projejecta that are also 1.3+ years old that are unfinished, but I’m finally managing my time again to complete all of my crawler projects!
I was going to get the furitek archery cage but ended up getting the MEUS cage …..haven’t got to the swap yet by the cage is pristine. Very impressed with the quality!
From all the Discussions on the Vanquish FB Group the Meus H10 Chassis looks like it fits and is way better than the furitek. I am strongly considering buying that and doing a ground up build for an H10
Have those wranglers you are using on the FJ. Was always wondering why I couldn’t get it “right”, but right is “wrong”. The tread is supposed to go separate ways with the wide lugs on the outside??? Love what’s on the bench!
A good man, with a good 3-D printer, could design an extension type mount for those front shocks to help lay them back further... And you shouldn't have to modify the titanium cage...🧐
Also and as well don't hate me but I cant find a link to the Omni Terminator file to 3d print you had back when it came out. I swear I am not being lazy! I scrolled and scrolled and couldn't find it!
Not only option what about RC speedy's ti Optic cage!? Buy that one now and compare them! And yes i second the idea you should put that on Josh's before you send it back! 😅
Did you ever find out what the clicking in the VFD transmission was caused by? I have a click in my new build and I don’t know how to go about fixing it.
Since u have the cage i would cut off the hoop and slide it back or get tube bend another that wider and lower if possible and have someone or invest in a cheap Amazon tig for that cheap stuff it be worth and learning is a plus now u can get them cheap and i follow car guys who do random hardware buys to see if its a worth and they're has been some decent tools made cheaper and it good for newbie s and starter cost but like anything the better quilty the better your work outcome but great for starting to see if u can and its something iam thinking of doing to build some custom things ive welded dune buggy cages and they held together and have a uncle thats master welder and now son if have and question he was first to show me how at 11 and a stick welder so keep up great work and rangers are awesome ive own many 4x4s of all brands more then rc u have and some great memories was with a desiel 88 and a stx with factory locker my jeep buds and my own it always found a way to make it through things without braking and tires never bigger then 31in with parts i could swap from factory vehicles for performance i loved reading specs and walking through junkyards built some fast and amazing trucks and cars with parts from any car that would adapt to a vehicle back early 90s and a teen broke and a motor head i became well adversed in shop manuals just to now the specs helped as get older and work on your own things
I know ya love ya new setup, I do too,.......BUT, its a little bright , I feel like I wanna adjust da brightness n contrast, but I can't on my phone, jus sayin, don't be disheartened, its probably jus my eyes 😊
The metal cage is cool but i need something more sciencey than artisty. And kind defeats the diy when the cage is made of crazy metal.... hard to weld or add or custom anything. So if everything doesnt line up and fit right, it isn't worth the money imo. As cool as it looks.
As others have suggested, longer front links would make that shock tower issue moot. It's still a great option for those that can't necessarily fabricate, but want a custom machine.
Put it on Josh's and send it back to him lol

Just throw some longer links on the front of that titanium Optic frame build and stretch the wheelbase about .375 - .45" and you'll be golden
Thanks for sharing your progress on the ranger i think it’s rad!!!
Thank you!
Danger ranger is looking good Mr Matt. God bless and keep wheeling 🙏
Thanks man!
Looking forward to those builds.
remember Matt-rear fenders especially on a pre-runner-are meant to TUCK. As well as the front do this or you have failed

Glad to hear it!
"Desk goes up. Desk goes down." Calm down Homer. 😄
😂
Hi Matt. Great show, love the new bench.
Hey, thanks!
Looks like to meet I might want to revisit that cage
Looks pretty awesome
Furitek Archery Cage looks fine, only the problem with the front shock absorbers is strange. A somewhat unconceived position 🤨
From all the Discussions on the Vanquish FB Group the Meus H10 Chassis looks like it fits and is way better than the furitek. I am strongly considering buying that and doing a ground up build for an H10
Go for it!
Josh may be a little more informative, but you’re a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work.!!!
And I'm much better looking 😂
LOL omg... the Furitek cage going on josh's rig is the kind of blasphemy I'm here for
Probably that damn chair dude!

What about longer ends on the links up front to push the axel forwards on the optic?
Definitely links, but then I’d be worried about the servo hitting the cage. They should have just put the shock mounts further back.
I still say you should have put a Aussie bed on that utron
Will a Capra with a Vader Skid mount up to the chassis easily??
maybe the Furitek just needs longer ball ends or worst longer front links to get the shock position better

Current "link" is for THIS video! ;D
Thanks!
Finish that freaking Ranger for the love of God! I want to see it!

@scalebuildersguild thank you sir!
I know that Truck🎶🎶
Are you sure the FJ tires aren’t backward? You have always struggled with that. 😂
You must be thinking of everyone other than me.

Not sure, I drove it again a few days ago and it was as quiet as can be!
@@scalebuildersguild hahaha that’s always a treat isn’t it? I had to go ahead and shim the top gear and boom no more click!
Was going to ask whether you filmed this before or after the takeover but it's obviously before. Praise Wheel
How long does it take to print one of those body’s on a bamboo labs?
Probably a total of six - eight hours.
@@scalebuildersguild I think I’m going to get one I’m stuck at 100mm/s with my ender 5 plus with their sale right now it’s too cheap not to buy
Where did you get that FJ hard body, I’ve been looking for one? 🤙🏽
I've had it for a decade in a box.
@@scalebuildersguild man 😔 lucky!!! It looks awesome!!!
Furitek is so close to being good but I don’t know if it’s for me. I’m curious how it actually performs
With that front shock the way it is, not holding my breath for great performance.
Also where do you host your 3D models? Cults3d?
Anything I have that’s halfway decent is on Youmagine.
👍🇨🇦🤠

It’s titanium. I can’t even begin to weld titanium, but thanks for the vote of confidence!
What skid plate is on that fj?
Knight Customs!
@@scalebuildersguild i cant find anything for the ifs 2:o
Search for the Utron.
@@scalebuildersguild all i can find is the interior, the detail set isnt there anymore. Same with some knightrunner stuff
You are looking on Knightcustoms.com ?
The archery cage front shock mounting is garbage
What? You don't have laser beams that come out of your eyes that can weld titanium frames at home??
Not yet! 😂

Rebecca was down there yesterday and remarked on how bright it was!
@@scalebuildersguild Rebecca has great eyes, dat makes me feel better bout bringing it up.

Fair enough. Thanks for watching!
One mitt Matt! Cheater.. 😉
Was that the New Bright 1/10 monster truck?
Yes
Very political way of saying the cage is crap 😅 bless you Canadians!
