I love how in her last appearance they revealed she knew Kara was Supergirl the whole time (not surprising she figured out Barry was the flash after meeting him once after all) but it was such a Penny drop moment she was trying to be a mentor to supergirl AND Kara

She left because she didn't want to move up to Vancouver. Her last physical appearance was the season 2 finale, although she does appear on TV in the season 3 premiere
@@franchesca347 I believe her last ep was episode 1 or 2 of season 2. But she returned for an ep at the end of s2. She left because the move from CBS to CW meant she had to move to Canada. But I'm assuming she couldn't make the move.

Usually really smart people tend to miss to obvious/little things in front of them. In regards to Kara you could also say that Lena was blinded by her longing for a friend, waving away little inconsistencies because there is no way her friend would be supergirl etc.
